This laptop is the Dell XPMS 1530 Coming to think of it that the only reason why I enable the mouse, to access help from sighted persons but never thought of that suggestion. Should I get this problem sorted out I will surely invest in a USB mouse and keep it hand and then I would not have to enable the touchpad again. Hi Steve, That's interesting, never saw a laptop without an F/N key. Short of what Denny suggested, you could disable it in the BIOS, but that requires sighted help. Steve, What I had to do was to find the Dell Touchpad software on the web for my laptop and install it. After I did that I found the Dell Touchpad selection in the control panel under mouse. Hi I agree. At one point I was using one desktop and two laptop computers. All I did was install the drop box software on each computer. Then I logged in with the same user information on each computer. Suddenly I had a simple way to transfer files quickly from one machine to the next. Hi Lennie, What Al suggested is your best bet but, if you want Dropbox installed on your Win7 system, you want to install it using the share this Dropbox with another computer option. When you install Dropbox you will get a dialogue asking you for your email address etc... When you get to this dialogue, shift + Tab, to a dialogue box asking you if you already have a Dropbox account, check this box. Now, tab to the dialogue boxes to put in the email address & password that you used for your initial install on your XP computer. Just follow the prompts to get it installed & once installed Dropbox will put copies of all your XP Dropbox folders into the main Dropbox folder of your Win7 computer. Hope this helps. Take care.
