Verity returning limited results
I'm having some issues with Verity returning limited results. I'm submitting a query to a custom collection using the cfindex tag with a refresh action. If I search the verity collection that is populated by the query, I only receive 25 results. But, if I use a query of queries with a LIKE command to search the populating query, during the same request, I receive 99 results. I'm searching for a simple keyword stable in lowercase using internet_basic or internet type. My prior experience with Verity has been positive, but this is just making me think Verity is dropping the ball? Any ideas? Re: Verity returning limited results
Hey Ray, The document count from Verity matches the total in the db: 799. I've tried most of the other types of searches, including simple, and still no dice, it only returns 25 records for the specific search. The document that highlighted this problem contains 'stable' or 'stables' 3 times, so I would expect verity to pick it up, but it is not returned in the search. And I hear you on the refresh and like statements, they were mostly used for trying to figure out this issue. Tyler On 8/29/07, Raymond Camden [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Just to be clear - a refresh will delete existing data before adding - so are you completely refilling the collection again? If you check the document count, does it match what you think it should? LIKE searches are not the same as Verity searches. For example, where lower(name) like '%ray%' will match Boray, Raymond, and Ray. Also, the internest_basic search may not be what you want to use. Exporting Verity Collections
I have a client who's CFMX administrator has been trashed somehow, it just shows encrypted code when you try to access it. This isn't a problem becuase they've just set up a new server to replace this one. But I need to export 15+ Verity Collections and the related scheduled events for updating the collections. Is there a config file I can pull this from, or do I have reset all the bad boys up one at a time? (I'll take a list if I could, just something to see all the settings for each collection.) MyOpenbox Fusebox 4 alternative/experiment on CFOpen.org
I've created a new framework that replicates the majority of the functionality of Fusebox 4, but adds many additional benefits such as automatic content generation (which (re)enables and improves on a layout system for your app), nested commands, self-describing Circuits (allows for true drag-and-drop installations of Circuits), built-in settings assignment, and more. RE: web server document root?
Erick, Sorry to break it to you, but I don't that's achievable. You can get the root of CF by calling an empty ExpandPath(): #ExpandPath()# But that just gives you ColdFusion's root, which isn't necessarily going to be your web server root. IMO, the best thing to do to handle general location-ing(?) is to create a root mapping yourself.Make a mapping called / that points to the web server root, then everything should fall into place after that.If you are on a hosted server, kindly ask the admins to create one for you, or create a more specific mapping for each site of yours. If they can't do either of these very basic, necessary tasks...dump 'em, there are plenty of shared hosting providers out there that will. Other than with a mapping, CF has no idea what the root of your web server is.I've searched long and hard, there's just no definitive variable/function out there- Tyler _ From: Calder, Erick [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, July 29, 2004 7:32 PM To: CF-Talk Subject: RE: web server document root? RE: Namespaces in XMLParse() file...
Thanks Barney, that all makes total sense. The whole issue of namespaces in XML has been iffy for me for a little while...mainly, because the URI doesn't really mean anything. But this time, my fault was that I wasn't thinking about descendents. I'm going to working with a fixed root element 100% of the time with this project, so I won't have a problem working around this one.I'll probably just make it a RegEx in the future. Namespaces apply to the current tag, and all decendants, you the tag that declares the namespace can be from that namespace: test:myTag xmlns:test= test:myOtherTag / /test:myTag XML is stringent about single root elements, and since CF's implementation adheres, it won't let you have multiple ones. However, if you need to add it dynamically, it's simple.Check if there is an xml declaration, check if there's a DOCTYPE declaration, and the first that's not part of either of those is the end of the root element.Just replace it with the namespace you need, plus the bracket. Check server memory and CFMX restarts
Is there a way to check available memory for CFMX from code?(i.e. I do not have access to the physical server.) I've seen it done before for Java based custom tags, but I was wondering if there is a way to tell if CFMX is running out of memory (because I keep losing my application variables way before the specified timeouts.) And does CF record every time it restarts in the server log, or would it only be recorded in the actual server's log (from IIS for example)? Disappearing/reappearing application variables...
Is there any reason application variables would disappear before the application timeout set in Application.cfm file? I have the following code, which initializes an application based CFC if it does not already exist.I put in a cflog tag to let me know how often it rebuilds itself and it seems to re-initialize every 1-2 hours, even though I have the application timeout set to 12 hours in the cfapplication tag (and the server timeout is still set to the default 2 days for application vars.) cfif NOT StructKeyExists(application, SomeCFC) OR 0 cflock name=CreateSomeCFC#application.ApplicationName# timeout=10 throwontimeout=Yes type=Exclusive cfscript // i create the SomeCFC application.SomeCFC=CreateObject(component, SomeCFC).Init(); /cfscript /cflock !--- i update the SomeCFC log file --- cflog text=SomeCFC initialized [#GetBaseTemplatePath()# :: #cgi.Remote_Addr#] file=SomeCFC /cfif The CFC contains a semi-boatload of configuration data, cached structs, etc; but I've definitely worked with larger amounts of persistent data before...could this be an issue? Is there anyway to check how much is too much with memory vars?As usual, any help would be greatly appreciated- Tyler S PS: I'm also going to add another conditional statement within the lock to re-check if the struct exists, I've just been forcing the re-init by changing the 0 to a 1 [Todays Threads] [This Message] [Subscription] [Fast Unsubscribe] [User Settings]

Yep, it's a brand new CFMX install, with three separate sites with 3 separate application names. Someone was complaining about a JRun connection closed error a couple days ago and I'm beginning to wonder if the server's hanging, then restarting itself, which would then cause my application vars to reset. RE: cfimport
The cfimport tag must be on the page that uses the imported tags. For example, if you use a cfimport tag on a page that you include with the cfinclude call, you cannot use the imported tags on the page that has the cfinclude tag. Similarly, if you have a cfimport tag on your Application.cfm page, the imported tags are available on the Application.cfm page only, not on the other pages in the application. RE: Joining the dark side - using DWMX
What does your docs say about dynamic stuff?Mine doesn't even mention the word dynamic once, here's the whole page (and the next page is about accessibility): Saving a code block as a snippet A code snippet is a block of code or content that you store for reuse. You can comment your snippets just as you would any code block. To create a code snippet: 1. Before adding a snippet, you must create a folder. To do so, click the Snippets tab in the Resources window, right-click in the Snippets panel, and select Create Folder. You can create additional folders as needed. The default location for snippets is the \UserData\Snippets folder below your root directory. 2. Enter a name for the folder. 3. Right-click in the Snippets pane and select Add Snippet to open the Snippet dialog box. 4. Enter a name for the snippet in the Description box. Note that snippet names cannot contain characters that are illegal in filenames, such as slashes, special characters, or double quotes. 5. In the Start Text window, enter or paste an opening code block. You can set a default spacing between the blocks by pressing the Enter key at the end of the start text and at the beginning of the end text. 6. In the End Text window, enter a closing code block. 7. Click OK. Because snippets can be created as start and end blocks, you can use them to surround other tags and content. This is handy for inserting special formatting, navigation elements, and script blocks. Simply highlight the content you want to surround, then insert the snippet. To insert a code snippet, do either of the following: * Double-click an entry in the Snippets panel. * Right-click and select Insert into document from the popup menu. To edit or delete a code snippet: * Right-click the snippet and choose the appropriate command (Edit or Delete) from the snippets shortcut menus. To manage code snippets and snippet folders: * Use the snippets shortcut (right-click) menus. Sharing snippets You can share code snippets with other developers by giving them access to a shared folder on your computer or on another network computer. To create a shared snippets folder: 1. Open Options Settings Locations. 2. In the Shared Snippets box, click Browse and navigate to the shared folder location and click OK. 3. In the Snippets panel, right-click, and select Create Shared Folder. The folder toolbutton changes color to show that it is shared. Anyone with access to the shared folder can now add, edit, and delete snippets. Assigning a shortcut key to a snippet Open the Options Customize dialog box and select the Snippet Shortcuts tab to enable a keyboard shortcuts for a snippet. Select a snippet and press keys to enter the combination in the box at the bottom. If a combination is in use, the current command appears below the shortcut box. RE: Fusebox - whats the big deal anyway?
I suggest you read the archives, because this troll...er...post has come up for discussion at least once a month for the last couple of years. To try and answer your questions: Fusebox is SUPER because...it provides a structured and organized basis for your ColdFusion applications.(Which any existing, or soon-to-be-existing, framework/methodology should do.) You could build individual modules and as long as you follow the Fusebox conventions, I could come in mid-project and know exactly where to jump in and start coding without learning your or anyone else's methodologies. It's basically a foundation for building websites and/or applications that is already thought-out and in widespread use. The rules of Fusebox also dictate a separation of different elements of your code.Queries, action pages, and display pages to start with, all the way up to full blown MVC.This does not make your code run 1000 times faster, it just helps you and your team develop the code quicker because you are all following the same game plan. There's a whole bunch more to it (distinct labels/name for each page, reusability, layouts, etc), but you are going to have to figure that out for yourself. Go check this out for some more information: http://www.fusebox.org If you like what you read, try out some sample applications.Otherwise, no big deal. You have a choice and a will of your own (unless you are borg.) You can do whatever the hell you want to.No one is making you use it, at least not that I know of. And it's not someone else's idea of how to build a website. It's a whole bunch of intelligent people's ideas combined, packaged and put in real-world use through 4 distinct (free) versions...there's a difference. And quite frankly I don't see what the big deal is. I think the thing I don't like about it, is that Fusebox is someone else's idea of how to create a web application. So right off the bat Fusebox developers short-cicrut their own creative ways to use Coldfusion and place themselves into a box that someone else has defined? Comparing two arrays...
I was searching for a way to uniquely identify a each position in an array, and in the following post, it looks like the snippet should do exactly what I want. But, I'm getting mixed results with Results() and HashCode().Are their any limits to these functions? I.e.: can you not call them on dynamically generated arrays or structs? Is there a length limit, etc? I'm trying: if(CurrentPosition GT 1){ WriteOutput(CurrentNode[Trace][CurrentPosition]Equals(CurrentNode[Trace] [CurrentPosition - 1]) br /); } CurrentNode is set to a specific structure in a much larger structure before this, and CurrentNode[Trace] is an array, where CurrentPosition is the CurrentPosition, which has already been set. I'm getting a Complex object types cannot be converted to simple values. error. And this same syntax works with simple values: cfscript a=ArrayNew(1); a[1]=one; a[2]=two; /cfscript #a[1]Equals(a[2])# One more thing, when I run: CurrentNode[Trace][CurrentPosition].HashCode() ...it outputs 0? Any ideas? TIA for any help you can provide- Tyler _ Matt wrote: cfscript foo = StructNew(); foo.a = b; foo.b = a; WriteOutput(foo.hashCode()); /cfscript Also, I have included more information on how the hashCode is generated below. public int hashCode() Returns the hash code value for this map. The hash code of a map is defined to be the sum of the hash codes of each entry in the map's entrySet() view. This ensures that t1.equals(t2) implies that t1.hashCode()==t2.hashCode() for any two maps t1 and t2, as required by the general contract of Object.hashCode. This implementation iterates over entrySet(), calling hashCode on each element (entry) in the Collection, and adding up the results. Specified by: hashCode in interface Map Overrides: hashCode in class Object Returns: the hash code value for this map. How are UDFs referenced/created...
I'm trying something new out for all my UDFs and I wanted to get a little feedback if I could... I just started loading all my UDFs into a structure in the application scope called UDFs.So that if I wanted to call GetFileSizeFormat, I would do: #application.UDFs.GetFileSizeFormat(123456)# The benefits to this, of course, is that if I have 1 or 1000 visitors to my site within the cfapplication applicationtimeout, I should only have to load each UDFs once (on the first request), instead of 1 time for every page for every visitor. So if I have 1000 visitors who hit or refresh pages on average 10 times, the UDFs will load 1 time vs 10,000 times. And the cons against this are increased application scope management (loading and locking), and the extra long reference I now have to include on every UDF (which could be interpreted as forced scoping and organization, and therefore a pro for this method.) I remember reading something about CFMX 6.0 or 6.1 greatly speeding up UDFs, CustomTags, etc instantiation. So I'm not even sure if this is doing anything in the larger scope of things. I'm getting ready to get start developing on my current project and I'd like to make a final decision for future projects as to whether this is a good idea, or even necessary...and feedback would be appreciated- Tyler Silcox P.S.I know this is purely for optimization sake, and that it probably wouldn't greatly affect my application's performance either way.But I would like to know which way is best, because it is going to affect just about every part of my development... Then if they want to make a global change to the css file for the site, they just edit the header include file. That's obviously a basic CF technique, but it's supported in DW and it has the added benefit that it isn't a DW-specific approach. There are two caveats: 1. DW can't render a nested include, so the header that contains the CSS link needs to be part of the actual document, not part of an already included file; and 2. DW can't edit styles that are actually in the included document, but it can edit css that is part of a link in the included file. -Kevin - Original Message - From: Massimo Foti [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: CF-Talk [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, September 11, 2003 9:09 AM Subject: Re: DWMX 2004 Impressions I'm just hoping that 2004 added the option for applying a Design Time CSS to an entire Site (I requested it in the wish form when DWMX came out). I'll give you credit and a link in the docs to this (as well as Charlie credit for his CFLOCATION portion). Are there any solid docs on the GetPageContext() stuff? I'm redoing my CFSCRIPT docs and one of the things I'm adding in are all the 'extra' things you can do with it in CFMX. One such thing is a CFLOCATION using GetPageContext().forward(somefile.cfm) I believe that there was a CFINCLUDE type code as well, but I can't seem to find it. If anyone remembers it, please let me know. Thanks You can do an include with getPageContext().include(somefile.cfm). However, it is not the same as doing a cfinclude. JImg setup for DRK4
Has anyone setup the JIMG examples from DRK4 yet? I'm trying to test out what I thought was a much more transparent cfc (there's way too much to set up for my needs-I thought everything was already included in the CFC and the new JRE/JVM that 6.1 is using). It already has tried to create an object by referencing files that weren't even mentioned in the readme file. I found the *.java files though and it still is not working and not even producing a clean error message. I was just wondering if anyone has worked though this yet? You can email me directly if you prefer...TIA- Tyler Silcox email || [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm?link=t:4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm?link=s:4 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.4 Signup for the Fusion Authority news alert and keep up with the latest news in ColdFusion and related topics. http://www.fusionauthority.com/signup.cfm

RE: cfquery syntax
One more tip: If you're using CF Studio/HomeSite, create a few Code Templates (snippets) and you'll save some awkward typing (and some reference lookups - I've only seen the cfsqltypes defined for the major DBs in Forta's WACKs, and they differ between the dbs and even from common sense in some of the cases). I have the following set up for MS-SQL data types: qpbit - cfqueryparam cfsqltype=CF_SQL_BIT value=#|# qpblob - cfqueryparam cfsqltype=CF_SQL_BLOB value=#|# qpdate - cfqueryparam cfsqltype=CF_SQL_TIMESTAMP value=#|# (datetime, smalldatetime) qpint - cfqueryparam cfsqltype=CF_SQL_INTEGER value=#|# qplong - cfqueryparam cfsqltype=CF_SQL_LONGVARCHAR value=#|# (text) qpvar - cfqueryparam cfsqltype=CF_SQL_VARCHAR value=#|# Then, all you gotta do is type the first abbr and hit ctrl + j and fill in the value...enjoy- Tyler -Original Message- From: Tony Weeg [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, September 04, 2003 10:44 AM To: CF-Talk Subject: RE: cfquery syntax aight, im sold. RE: cfquery syntax
One thing, in addition to the no-caching with QPs, is that CF has had a bug with queryparam since at least version 5, where you can't use string functions within the value attribute...so instead of this: cfqueryparam cfsqltype=CF_SQL_VARCHAR value=#Trim(attributes.Whatever)# You should do this: script attributes.Whatever=Trim(attributes.Whatever); /cfscript cfqueryparam cfsqltype=CF_SQL_VARCHAR value=#attributes.Whatever# This is a good idea anyways, because you can handle all server side validation before your query inserts/updates/etc. Other than that, QPs absolutely rock: forced validation and faster execution makes your servers really happy- Tyler -Original Message- From: Tony Weeg [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, September 04, 2003 10:44 AM To: CF-Talk Subject: RE: cfquery syntax aight, im sold. RE: Box Highlights of hover/active links.
I think he's talking about the broswer area that shows up when you click on a link and then don't let go until you move your mouse cursor off of the link...it sometimes leaves a light colored dashed border. This action is dependent on the browser you are using. I'm using iE 6.0, and I only see it when I click on a link then hit the back button...the link I clicked will then be highlighted with the border. Otherwise, he could be talking about an actual border applied with a CSS style (border: 1px Gray dashed;). If you see a border on every link when you roll over it, then this is the case...if it is, remove it from the style sheet or declaration. (Duh.) Seriously now, you don't want all those ASP and PHP folks spending their money somewhere else - the beauty of it is that all of those people who buy DW and use it to code PHP and ASP are contributing to the future of MM and CF with their funds. I disagree with the above statement. The market for ASP and PHP is growing, while the CF market is shrinking. Certainly, there is reason right now for Macromedia to support ASP, PHP, and CF, but at what point does the size of each respective market force MM to focus DW on only the largest markets, namely ASP and PHP? RE: Query Param numeric type?
It's a Numeric data type in MS-SQL 2000, and the one (major) fault I've had with cfqueryparam is the lack of documentation for which cfsqltype to use with which data type from each different db vendor. (i.e.: if you use a datetime or smalldatetime data type in MS-SQL, you must use CF_SQL_TIMESTAMP in your cfsqltype attribute, not the more obvious CF_SQL_DATE) So I've always resorted to the table in Forta's WACK for CF5, which subsequently has disappeared in later versions(?). And that table tells me I should use CF_SQL_NUMERIC OR CF_SQL_DECIMAL for numeric data types in MS-SQL...and that is where I am at now: I insert 0.0001273148154723458, and it is set as a 0 (zero) in the db- Tyler -Original Message- From: Bryan Stevenson [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, August 14, 2003 4:12 PM To: CF-Talk Subject: Re: Query Param numeric type? RE: CFFLUSH and IE5.x - 6.0
I was very interested in this also, so I jumped right on this yesterday when I saw it...a little forewarning: it definitely works, but it still outputs in chunks and if you are nesting tables, it won't output inner table rows until the inner table is complete. So, for us at least (we use layouts heavily), it still isn't production worthy, unless we create a separate page for the flushes, which we do anyway...definitely good to know it's there, but not quite a end all, be all solution for cfflush- Tyler -Original Message- From: Ciliotta, Mario [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, July 11, 2003 9:36 AM To: CF-Talk Subject: RE: CFFLUSH and IE5.x - 6.0 Thanks, This looks really interesting and I am going to give it a try today. However, you can change this behaviour by using the table-layout: fixed style to your table and optionally adding col tags. There's more information in MSDN: Go to http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/ and then Web Development - HTML and Dynamic HTML - SDK Documentation - Reference - Properties - tableLayout. Many people do not realize that later versions of CF, by default, outputs content to the browser almost immediately. CFFLUSH is actually quite useless in most circumstances. - Original Message - From: Ciliotta, Mario [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Wednesday, July 9, 2003 5:14 pm Subject: CFFLUSH and IE5.x - 6.0 Hi I was wondering if anyone has any experience with using cfflush and IE. I have been trying to get the results of a query to start flushing out to the screen but I have been unsuccessfully. The query usually returns about 150-200 rows. I cleaned up the page so that all the summing and totaling is now handled by the database instead of CF (way fast page loading - but the users want more). Basically the query will run and then I output the data to the page. The data is displayed in a table for formatting purposes but it never seems to flush. It looks like IE waits for the table to finish - seems as though IE will not flush a partially composed table?? Just guessing. If anyone knows how to get CFFLUSH to work in this example that would be great. Here is the code that I have so far -- Sorry it is a app that I inherited from another group so some of the CF might not be the best, but I'll clean it up after the flush issue. I've searched everything (cf talk's archive, google, macromedia, etc) for the last 30/45 minutes and I can't find squat on how to do this on WinXP home. I don't have any passwords on the laptop, just on the SQL server. I've tried running the CFMX service as my account, but I do not have a password, so when I leave it blank and hit Apply; it does not throw an error, it just says that next time the service starts it will log in as the given account...blah blah blah. But when I restart the service, it rejects me because of the logon. Re: Setting up user for CFMX for MSSQL (MSDE) on WinXP home
Yea, I've read that document about 15 times before, and 15 times after, my original post-but still no luck. Here's how I set up the dsn in CFMX admin: CF Data Source Name: mydatasource (changed to protect the identity, of course) ODBC DSN: mydatasource (this was already filled in, meaning CF recognized it) Trusted Connection: checked Username: system Password: (blank) Description: (blank) and it throws this error on submit: SQLException while attempting to connect: java.sql...blah...[SequeLink Server]The specified data source in not defined. Now it's telling me the data source (ODBC connection?) doesn't exist, even though it found the ODBC DSN in the create form, and ODBC Data Source Administrator tested and confirmed the ODBC DSN? I'm starting to think MSDE doesn't like CF for some reason. Which makes sense, since I'm not really supposed to be hitting it according to the license, but I need a quick, dirty, and most importantly MSSQL fully compatible database for a demo. Now, it's getting a lot dirtier than I ever wished- Tyler - Original Message - From: Chris Kief [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: CF-Talk [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, June 14, 2003 4:07 PM Subject: RE: Setting up user for CFMX for MSSQL on WinXP home You need to enable trusted connections for your SQL server. Hallelujah! It was a silly: You can change the Authentication from Windows only to SQL Server and Windows on the Security tab of the sql server properties in EM. So instead of Windows trying to let me in, SQL will allow me to set up a DSN straight from CF Administrator using the sa account. Re: cfc woes
Unfortunately, CF will only check the local directory for the CFC, or the cfc/custom tag mappings in the administrator. It will not search recursively down from the current folder, i.e.: testSite.cfcs.client. You should ask your hosting provider to set up at least one mapping for you. I'd recommend they map / as the folder that they store everyone else's websites in, since most providers use other folders besides the default webroot. This way you, and everyone else on the (assumed) shared server, can do exactly what you are talking about. If they won't do this for you, then you need to change up your hosting partners- Tyler - Original Message - From: Michael Tangorre [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: CF-Talk [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, June 06, 2003 10:44 PM Subject: cfc woes Can someone help me figure out why this is not working.. cfset clientObj = CreateObject(component,testSite.cfcs.client) / My directory structure is set up as follows: C:\inetpub\wwwroot\testSite\cfcs I get an error saying Could not find the ColdFusion Component testSite.cfcs.client Am I not using the correct notation? Re: clearing all sessions in an application
There is not an application wide session-clearer, so I always set a UUID, from CreateUUID(), in the application scope and in the user's session variables. Then if the application UUID is different from the session UUID, you reset the session variables. You can do this programmatically by just changing the UUID in the application scope and then have your session variables update automatically, which also works very nicely when the application vars expire- Tyler - Original Message - From: Kay Smoljak [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: CF-Talk [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, April 03, 2003 2:22 AM Subject: clearing all sessions in an application Hi All, This is really an application design issue I'm having, I think. Re: clearing all sessions in an application
Well, it'd be something like this: !--- this should probably go right after your cfapplication tag --- cflock name=ApplicationKey type=EXCLUSIVE timeout=10 cfif NOT StructKeyExists(application, ApplicationKey) cfset application.ApplicationKey=CreateUUID() /cfif /cflock !--- this should go wherever you set your session vars (should be really only be called once per visit, or when needed to refresh settings) --- !--- set all of your session vars --- cfset blah, blah, blah cfset blah, blah, blah cfset blah, blah, blah !--- ...then set your ApplicationKey --- cflock name=ApplicationKey type=READONLY timeout=10 cfset session.ApplicationKey=application.ApplicationKey /cflock !--- this is where you check your values on every read --- cflock name=ApplicationKey type=READONLY timeout=10 cfif session.ApplicationKey NEQ application.ApplicationKey !--- now, just reset all of your session vars --- !--- you can set them here with use a cfc/udf, or send them somewhere else to set the session vars again. just make sure you also set session.ApplicationKey=application.ApplicationKey to the current value --- /cfif /cflock Let me know if this doesn't work, it's not from actual code, I just wrote it up to give you an example. And no, this won't clear out all the active sessions, but it will keep refresh the session values once the a new page is called for each individual user.
