Actually, I'm more interested in meeting your favorite Enlightened
Soul. I'd like to compare some notes with him or her and see if what
appears to me and those who hear and decide this all is gen-u-ine is
in actually genuine. I've already done such things as taken short
courses of meds my shrink friends have phoned into the pharmacy to
test if I was totally bonkers, if this was the result of a brain
tumor, if the shakes where lack of dopamine or something else
entirely. But I suspect you might be speaking tongue in cheek here.

BTW, I was thinking during program this evening how I could prove to
myself that I was not suffering from implanted memories or wishful
thinking and actually remembered the big forgetting and that terrible
stroke like thing which robs us of our ability to speak clearly,
understand words clearly and walk when we're infants.

Then I remembered Barbara B. She was my playmate. We started
comparing notes before we were in kindergarten and we continued during
the ensuing years. The first time we spoke about what we remembered
was when we were trying to figure out what happened to hers and why
mine was spared the chopping block. She didn't remember getting hers
chopped off. HAHAHAHA. Kids.

Sorry if I grossed y'all out.

We continued to compare notes between ourselves and others as we grew
up. Surely one of the group of kids wrote it down before we all moved
away from each other. I merely have to track down Barbara and our
other playmates and I'll have it verified.

Welcome back kid. How goes it in 'ol San Fran?

If I may pontificate for a moment, I think many members of this forum could
take a lesson in not taking people too seriously, even if those people take
themselves seriously. We all tend to take ourselves too seriously to a
degree – some people almost all the time, others once in a while. When we
do, it’s good to be able to snap out of it ASAP. Life is more fun if you can
goof on people rather than let them push your buttons. Nabby is a case in
point for me. I could get all hot and bothered and threaten to sue him or
beat him up, etc., as some people have done to others here. But it’s so much
more fun to enjoy his personality, tease him a bit, etc. I suppose I might
get very upset if I thought that the things he says about me or my future
were true, but that would be taking him seriously, and for me, that would be
as unlikely as taking the TMO rajas seriously, or Benny Feldman’s
(Kuber-ji’s) assurances that the latest bonds he is selling, promising 15%
annual earnings, are secure because they’re backed by the Raam.

As I said, I very selectively read posts. One would take your words
to be completely in earnest without having read all the postings.
Rick used to ban people for a time from this group and I've just
recently starting selectively reading it. So a time out seemed an
entirely righteous step forward in what appears me to be sudden
civility in FFL. Tongue and cheek is when you say something in a
deadpan matter while you throw out clues that you're joking or people
know you must be joking. Not having read all of the posts perhaps I
should not have chimed in. But frankly, I've lost fear, water cannot
quench me nor fire burn me and frankly unless called on it, I'll chime
in wherever I go unless the spies are about.

I do belong to other groups which actually do have timeouts for members.

I'm not going to say my bad, cause I ain't bad and right now I'm not

I very selectively read and marvel that FFL has taken on a level of
civility it hadn't had when I read it in the past. OTOH, all this is
glorious and when I talk about the hook up with the truck driver I
didn't want so I didn't accept the invitation but was honored by it as
a friendly gesture, when I remember being a randy young pup and debate
with Rick about the right of children to experience what they desire
(but Rick has some compelling arguments against that viewpoint). I
will tell you that I make some people, including Rick, uncomfortable
at times with my emails and speech. So I put a clamp on it or choose
another forum. But the gutter is also made in the image and likeness
of God and it is glorious, divine, infinite and glowing and it's as
intimate to me as the feel my tongue has inside my mouth. And though
you may not be aware of it, the sky above and the mud below is all me
but it's also you and you and you.

I don't feel that people should be made uncomfortable though I am ever
uncomfortable on campus and there are people on rants, many of them

The wisdom and depth in Jim's post transcended anything ever written
in this weird place. Just because he actually is enlightened (with TM)

This one tickled me so much that I'm going
to give Jim/Sandi Ego a chance to petition
for me to be banned. I'm going to post some-
thing I was saving for tomorrow morning right
now.

Here it is. ALL that Jimbo would have to do
to get me banned for a week is to bring it
up to Rick and ask him to ban me for the next
week. I would go without a single protest, and
be back a week later, without a scar.

Uh...unlike the person who feels he has to
change his username to come back after exceeding
the posting limit, all while claiming to be fully
enlightened. :-)

Anyway, here it is, the offending post, the one
that takes me definitely Over The Limit and allows
Rick and the other moderators to Ban My Ass For A
Week. If they choose to do so, I hold *absolutely*
no grudges -- them's the rules. But I suggest that
you wait TO ban me *until* someone like Jimbo or
Judy or Shemp demands that you do so...that way
it'll have a better overall effect.

So anyway, here is the offending post that officially
takes me over the 50-post-per-week limit:

Jim,

Here's the real story. What you're pissed off about
is that while posing as an "enlightened one" you got
busted on this forum for having zero self control about
your compulsive posting and going over the posting limit.
As a result, you had to stop posting for a week. Rather
than just suck it up and make it a week and show some
humility and some "enlightened fallibility," you chose
to throw a hissy fit and pretend to "go away," as if it
would be a long, long time before you ever deigned to
reappear and as if you were done with us low-vibe suckers
who don't appreciate your oh-so-highly-evolved-enlightened
maginificence.

Then you reappear, only a few weeks later, with a new
username, and it takes less than a couple of days
before someone figures out who you are. So what you are
so pissed off about is that your act and your vibe are
both so...uh...recognizable.

Duh. Tough shit. Your act and your vibe are recognizable
because they are clichés, as are you.

If Rick, or ANY of the other FFL moderators, chooses
to kick my ass off for a week or more to "lighten up,"
that's cool with me. I will go without a word of protest.
And I'll come back, as if nothing untoward has happened.

You and your posts, I just lift my leg on and walk
away from, the same way my dog does... :-)
