 [...] I was not saying the murders happened

Well, now that a day or two has gone by;
And I have had time to comtemplate this heated exchange...
I must say there have been times;
In my experience, when I have felt a certain sychronicity;
In my life, and travels;
And sometimes, being a little bi-polar;
I have had deep lows and high, highs.

So, I did not mean to get so down and dirty and crude;
I was just going off; I felt angry.

But with the recent events in Seattle,
With the attack on the Jewish Center;
By this Muslim sicko,
I must admit, I am not quite powerful enough;
To balance the vibes in Seattle right now..(I'm a Libra; we need to
balance).

I have felt since arriving back here, in Seattle,
That the atmosphere has changed and does feel different...
It has a 'void' quality to it; a very isolated feeling.
A certain feeling of 'darkness'.

Do, to these feelings, although I was thinking of settling;
Here, because it is quite beautiful;
I have second thoughts,
And just might return to 'Mad City'
Where although it is more 'small town';
It has a better feeling overall.

Seriously, though, I have had experiences, like when I first came
back to Seattle, this past Monday night;
That it was hot and it felt very heavy here.
I can feel it more, when I meditate, and attempt to dissipate, this
lower, negative vibration, from my presence.

And I do feel, that such crimes, as the one reported in Seattle, took
place, when one was in a 'black-out', state, induced by alcohol,
where an evil spirit most likely took over this individual who had
opened himself to this lower vibration of evil.

So, I do believe, that one meditating, either in a group;
Or individually, if they have a deep enough witnessing experience;
Of cosmic consciousness, can dissipate and dispels the wickedness;
In the atmosphere...

Being of Jewish origin also, encourages me to feel that humans;
Are connected to this bigger source called God;
Some Jews of old mentioned in the Bible, who were in touch with this
source;
Who could do all sorts of 'super-normal' things, or 'miracles'
And after reading 'A course in Miracles';
I started thinking, well, I could do miracles to,
Or allow God to do them through me; either way...

So, whether it's clearing a city, like Seattle from evil scum
vibrations.
Or making it rain, when there's a draught.
 Parting the Red Sea, or Walking on Water;
Who knows?
I'll see if I can find a good Priest to talk to;
About the need to walk on water...
Just need to remember to wear a good clean pair of underware, just in
case?...

Just a bit of hyperbole (you know, like you so
often use).

The unreasonable part, of course, was your
uncertainty over whether Robert was being facetious.

 If I may restore the part of the post you so care-

 What I'm waiting for next is how much you'll snip
 of my Lennon post when you slam me for that one.

Actually, I hadn't thought of responding to that one.

But since you mention it, I'll just call attention
to this paragraph from that post--

*To* say this indicates to me an implicit belief in 'them
vs. us,' and a corollary belief that 'us' is always better.
'Sane' is defined as 'on the program' or 'loyal' to MMY,
doing exactly what he says. 'Insane' is defined as doing
something -- anything -- else. At this point in my life,
I suspect *that* position is more than a little crazy.

--another bit of inadvertent irony from someone who
has just advised a TMer to look into getting some
psychological help because they expressed their
faith in the Maharishi Effect in a humorously
hyperbolic form, and you were afraid they were dead
serious.

Well, probably not, for a lot of reasons. But the
money isn't why I can't make it.  I'd go if I could,
but it's just not possible. (How long is it supposed
to last? If it's still going a couple of months
from now, I might be able to wangle it.)

 All talk, no action. And slimy talk at that, as in
 this post where you do the *very* thing you accuse

Oh, nonsense. I quoted the essential point at the
top. Not only that, folks will have just read the
original; your response followed his post by only
seven minutes and was the very next in the posting
order.

(I mean, given how deeply disturbing you appear to
have found the post, surely you wouldn't think
others who have read it would have already forgotten
it, would you?)

Whereas you, as is your wont, have carefully avoided
addressing the point of *my* post--your penchant for
projecting your own traits onto others--and have in
fact done everything you could to distract attention
from it, by quibbling over ready for the booby hatch
versus get psychological help, and then going off
on several irrelevant tangents designed to shoot the
messenger.

There's more than one way to hide context you don't
want folks to think about.

Oh, yeah, I did have one more minor comment on your

(There's something essentially wrong with that

Um, no, I didn't attribute any words to you, Barry.
I paraphrased your concern that Robert needed
psychological help, just with (as noted) a bit of
hyperbole (which was obvious, since I included the
quote from your post--which you, it appears, have

You do it to me--and others you dislike--all the

unless they're egregiously contrary to what I've
actually said.

And unlike you, I don't put quotes around my
paraphrases to make readers think I was actually

 You changed my language to make it harsher, and then
 you snipped the original post I was replying to so as
 to conceal what it was that I was referring to.

Oh, nonsense. I quoted the essential point at the
top. Not only that, folks will have just read the
original; your response followed his post by only
seven minutes and was the very next in the posting
order.

As to the hyperbole, as noted, I *did* quote what
you had actually said, so it would be clear it *was*
hyperbole. You've snipped that part; I just can't
imagine why.

(And notice, by the way, that Barry is still throwing
up chaff to distract attention from the fact that
he can't address my actual point--which he's also
now snipped, along with the chaff he flung in his
previous post--about his tendency to project his own
failings onto others. Like I said, I struck a nerve.)

 I'm sure that no one out there can imagine Judy going
 ballistic if someone did that to her? :-)

 What should it tell us that Barry and Vaj do exactly
 the same thing they accuse TMers of doing, I wonder?

 Maybe I care too much about integrity, but I have
 a hard time with that notion. I don't see how one
 *can* care too much about it.

 So wrong to criticize me (or anybody else)
 unfairly, dishonestly, hypocritically.

 after suggesting that I was drunk at 7:00 or so
 in the morning my time. :-)
