[Audyssey] need help with adventure at c
HI all This is the same Nicol; only my address has changed. I like adventure at C a lot. Looks like lots of replay value. Side scrolers is my favorite type of game. I just need some advice please. Which level would you recommend to start off with; which one would you say is the easiest? I dived into the downloads level which is the first level that you get in the in between levels area.. I managed the downloads level until I got to the check point. S P O I L E R S P A C E Its some kind of program that downloads data. This program needs me to protect its .zip files. But I cannot manage to destroy all the viruses. I manage to destroy 1 or 2 but then the viruses gets too quick for me; they access the .zip files. And then each time I lose; and my sappi voice says: you let me down: why; why. And then I lose alife. Have you guys been able to get past the .zip files download program? [Audyssey] sending my spurland monopoly board
Hi all The contents of my spurland monopoly board will follow shortly. IN the subject field I will put the filename and in the body the contents of the board. Let me know if you need help in creating and saving the board file. Let me know if you need info on any of the squares. Spur is a popular restaurant in south africa. This board contains all the things I enjoy at the spur. And funny enough, I don't get hungry when I play monopoly using my spurland board. Enjoy p.s Jim's monopoly game is actually a very big treasure and gift to blind gamers. If it wasn't for jim's monopoly game, a blind person would either have to play monopoly on rs games and for that one needs internet. Or a blind person would have to purchase a braille monopoly set which costs a lot and then you can only play the original theme and you cannot save a game with a braille monopoly set, i.e you have to finish the game in one sitting. --- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. https://www.avast.com/antivirus --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org. [Audyssey] new monopoly board for you
Hi all I created a new monopoly board with jim's board maker program which I'm sure you'll enjoy. Its called spur land. Spur is a popular restaurant in south africa and in this monopoly board I sharememories of my favorite spur dishes. Let me know if there is any squares on the board that you want info on. I had some trouble creating the board file. I have windows7 64 bit. I prefer to have user account control on 100 percent to notify me of unknown programs about to run. So after I created the board, I was looking for it in both the kitchen sinc folder under program files 86 and the kitchen sinc folder under documents but I couldn't find it. But strange enough, the monopoly game picks up the spur board. So I can play monopoly using my created board but the physical file was not there so that I can upload it. So I disabled user account control and rebooted my computer. Then going into the monopoly game my spur board was no longer there. So I had to create it again from scratch. So then I turned on user account control again and rebooted my computer. Now the spur board is there but its got a txt extention. Funny enough, the monopoly game picks up my spur board and I can play monopoly with it although the extention is txt. >From my prrior computer which was windows xp I know that all board files has got another extention but I can't remember the extention. So here is the link to my spur land board; you just have to give it the propper extention after you placed it into the kitchensinc folder. What is blubber? Is it a kind of food? In baseco15 I hear the voice of a boy. He notices a car's flat tyres if I heard it clearly. What is advertised in this comercial? baseco16 I can hardly make out. Are they advertising some kind of bread? The voice at the end, does it say: "Where's the beef? Hey where's the beef?" beef such as in meat? baseco17 armer hot dogs. "What kind of kids eat armer hot dogs? Fat kids, skinny kids" And then the next line I cannot make out. "tough kids, sissy kids. And what is advertised in this comercial? baseco20 I cannot make out all the lyrics; all I can make out is something to do with slinky. "A spring, a marvellous thing. Everyone knows its slinky. Its slinky, its slinky. Its fun for boys and girls" Is some kind of toy advertised? baseco21 vince and larry the crush test dummies with a lullabye. The only line I can make out is: "keep your children off the streets; put your kids in safety seats" What is advertised here? baseco22 slow bot the robot. A robot used for small stuff. And then the robot breaks down. What is advertised here? [Audyssey] voice problem with 7128 games
Hi all Since I have windows 7 64 bit, I cannot get jaws to work with the 7128 games. The readme file stated that jaws currently can't work with 7128 games if its 64 bit windows. I only have one sappi voice and that is Anna. I find anna to be very sluggish with 7128 games. I would like to use the built in 7128 Kevin voice. The readme file only states that if my computer does not have any sappi voice the game will default to the Kevin voice. But it does not explain how to turn on or select the Kevin voice. All the equals key does is turn on or off the game voice which is anna in my case. I went to text to speech settings in control pannel and there it only shows one voice: anna. So is it possible to use the Kevin voice? If so, how do I turn Kevin on? [Audyssey] the 7128 orchestra game
Hi all My favorite game from 7128 is the orchestra game. I would like to share with you my method of remembering the order of instruments. S P O I L E R S P A C E I memorize the first letter of each instrument. The f7 key helps a lot when it spells out the name of an instrument. Since the anna voice is very sluggish when using left and right arrow, I press space to tell me the order of instruments. I listen to the solution a few times and memorize the first letter of each instrument. Sometimes the first letter of each instrument is easy to remember. For example, on level10 one instrument had the letter b, the next one the letter m and the next one the letter p. So I made an easy association in my mind since the letters b m p is an extention for a type of picture file: bit map image. I managed to complete all 10 levels using the easy setting. Thanks a lot 7128 for great games,. Especially thanks a lot for the orchestra game. The other 7128 games I bought is the perceptions game book which contains the kim game, the definition game and the crambles game. Then I also bought the scrambled sayings game which I enjoy a lot. [Audyssey] my hospital experiences RE: Jim?
HI Jim and tom I also don't like it in the hospital. The m r I scans that was done on me was scary. The sounds the machine makes is really scary. And lying in the tunnel made me feel uncomfortable. I had to go for an m r I scan 3 years ago because I battle with hallucinations. The sounds the machine made sound like heavy metal music. And also what I experienced as bad was the x-rays that was taken of my wrist and hand when I was 15. My body didn't produce growing hormones Thus, since I was 5 years old until the age of 16 I got injections twice a day to produce growing hormones. So the x-rays was to determine when to stop the growing hormone medication so that I do not become a giant. So what they did: they placed my wrist and hand on the x-ray platform. They placed my thumb inside my index finger. That was the most uncomfortable part. I got a hallucination of a paint brush touching my thumb the moment the lady placed my thumb inside my index finger. The lady who took the x-rays didn't explain to me why she place my thumb inside my index finger. So while she was going to the machine to take the film, I took my thumb out of my index finger because it felt too uncomfortable. She came back and again placed my thumb inside my index finger without saying anything. So I left my thumb there. now, I daily battle with hallucination's of people trying to take x-rays and the hallucinations happens exactly like it really happened when I was 15. And also as a kid, lots of blood tests were done on me because of my growing hormone problem. So I'm not fond of doctors. -Original Message- From: Gamers [mailto:gamers-boun...@audyssey.org] On Behalf Of Jim Kitchen Sent: 12 May 2015 08:28 AM To: Thomas Ward Subject: Re: [Audyssey] Jim? Hi Thomas, Those things bother me, but even more so things like, I just get things organized on my table. I wake up and the table is gone. People walk in and out without announcing who they are or what they are doing. I got yelled at for not eating my meal. I never knew that it was there. After surgery, I got yelled at for not telling someone that my catheter bag was full. Like how would I know? I got yelled at for smoking in the bathroom. I was not a smoker at the time. I just threw a tissue in the toilet. The last time that I was in the E R I gave the doctor a print out of my medical history. She asked if I ever had pain. I said yes, some times where my aortic aneurysm is. She put her fingers on my back and asked me where. When I said right there, she tickled me. She sent me back for a C T scan. They started to explain a C T scan to me and I said I know. They were like, what you have had one before. I said yes, but not to often because of my kidneys. They were like what? Oh, we will have to wait for your blood to come back to look at your kreatnum level. Sorry, it just goes on and on. But for now Doctor Barns is just recommending physical therapy and wants to see me again in a couple of weeks. BFN - Original Message - Hi Jim, I can definitely empathize. I hate going to the hospital myself, and have spent my fair share of time in them over my life. For those who don't know, graille to the thief was an audio adventure game (not a first person one, one of the choice style ones), developed by foralltoplay. The game had a very nice interface and some funny acting, although it did rather suffer from a lack of actors and complexity, though both of those are things Foralltoplay could fix with a 100 K grant methinks! Chase & LinkedIn are offering 20 small companies $100,000 grants through a contest and we've entered our studio (For All To Play) into the contest. We are currently forced to work on games in our spare time, but if we receive this grant we will be able to develop accessible audio games full-time! [Audyssey] need help with level29 of blindfold racer
HI all I'm playing blindfold racer on my IPhone5s. I'm currently playing in practice mode level29. I just cannot manage to make wind. Marty told me that my IPhone's micorphone is situated where the charging cable slot is. NO matter how hard I blow into the microphone, I can't make any wind. Each time I am told that I haven't made enough wind and that I must repeat this level. How do you guys do it? I place my lips on the curved part next to the cable slot and I blow hard but without success. I tried both ways. First with the screen facing me and then with the back part facing me. Are you guys having any success with blindfold racer? I never heard of a Windows port of that program. I really wish there was one. I did like that game more than the Kitchen game. The Kitchen game does allow pitching and hitting variability, but other than that it is totally random. You can change the players and the tea names in Kitchen's game, but everything is random. I did change things in the WSB Special edition and I am not sure how, but changing the statistics in that game _does_ make a real difference. For example, just to be silly, I put together a great team of all star baseball players from all eras on one team and an imaginary team called 'The Buffalo Blinks' (as in Buffalo, New York) consisting of all my local blind friends--both men and women. I changed the batting and pitching stats for the all star team and gave all the 'Blinks' high averages and low ERA for the pitching. Needless to say, the 'Blinks' slaughtered the All Stars in 4 games and by large scores. Again, I am not sure just how at the DOS level, this fuzzy logic (which must have been primitive at that early time) worked, but it was quite good. I really miss it. I also miss the 'Any Night Football' which was a DOS game from (I think) PCS Games. That also seemed to work on the basis of statistics. For example, you could schedule a game between 2 teams and pick plays and defense that would reflect real life trends an tendencies and it _did_ make a difference. With Kitchen's football game, again, it is totally random. There is no control. If anyone knows where any of these games from the old days can be downloaded and used in Windows, I would greatly appreciate any information. [Audyssey] help needed with blindfold racer
HI all I'm having a good time with blindfold racer, a game for the IPHone. I enjoyed picking up all the prizes. I play the game in practice mode on easy level. I am now at level29. What gesture do I need to use if I hear the wind sound? I tried shaking the phone, tapping with 2 fingers and swiping in all directions but each time I am told: you did not make enough wind, restarting level. Re: [Audyssey] jim's pizza game
Hi tom This is very interesting. This is what soda roughly cost in south africa as well. 1 dollar equals to 10 south african rand. So then it means that 89 cents must be 8 rand 90 cents in south africa. So a 2 litre bottle of soda in south africa costs more or less what it costs in the US. What is the difference between name brand and off brand soda? I never heard of the term off brand soda before. -Original Message- From: Gamers [mailto:gamers-boun...@audyssey.org] On Behalf Of Thomas Ward Sent: 27 November 2014 07:37 AM To: Gamers Discussion list Subject: Re: [Audyssey] jim's pizza game Hi Charles, Yeah, it would stand to reason more people would buy soda from pizza parlors if they charged a better price for it. As I said before I can usually buy a 2-liter of soda for as low as $0.89 for an off brand soda and about a $1.25 for a name brand soda from a supermarket so I'm not about to pay $2.50 or so for a 2-liter from a pizza place. Now, if they were more reasonable, say $1.50, I might be willing to pay an extra $0.25 or so for a 2-liter but not a full $1.25. At those kinds of prices I can have two bottles for the price of one, and if I am pretty regular about ordering pizza on a certain night like Friday or Saturday all I need to do is plan ahead and buy the soda from the store when I know I'm having pizza with family or friends that coming weekend. [Audyssey] jim's pizza game
HI all I told another list, the blind tech list about my problem with my computer restarting in the middle of the pizza game and I want to share with you the help I got from a list member there. I was told to open the system dialogue box with windows key plus the pause key. Then I go to the advanced tab and then I press the startup and recovery settings button. Then in this dialogue I uncheck the checkbox that says: restart automatically. Then I press ok in both dialogues. Then I again played jim's pizza game and thus far I was able to deliver 4 pizzas without my computer restarting. It was in the evening so I delivered 4 pizzas and then I switched off my computer because I went to bed. So I hope that unchecking that box fixed my problem permanently. Jim, I have a suggestion for you if you plan to update your pizza game. some customers might order a cooldrink together with their pizza so it would be cool if some deliveries can include a cooldrink with the pizza such as a can of coke. Some people might be thursty after munching a pizza so they feel like a can of cooldrink. I don't know about the US, but here in south africa, pizza places that deliver, such as debonairs, with them, one can order a cooldrink together with the pizza and then both the cooldrink and the pizza is delivered to the customer. [Audyssey] a well-known saying revamped by me
HI all I don't know about other countries but in south africa people often use a well-known saying: "An apple a day keeps the doctor away." This is not to be taken literally; it means if you eat fruit regularly you won't get sick often. So I've been thinking about this saying and I've invented a saying based on this well-known saying. My saying goes: "An apple a day keeps boredom away." My invented saying means that if you have an apple device such as an IPHone, you can play games on it that will drive away being borred. Games such as flip it and zany touch, bopit style games, are examples of games that will drive boredom away. And also the true or false test your wits game is in my opinion another good example of a game that will keep bordom away. So what do you think of my new saying? [Audyssey] jim's pizza game
HI jim and all Jim, I like your pizza game a lot. Thus far I played it 3 times. The first time I only got a tip of 2 cents from the customer as I was terribly late with my delivery. The second time I was more than in time so I got a tip of over 5 dolllars. I like it a lot that the pizza toppings are different each time I play. One of the toppings included choc chip. I've never eaten a pizza with choc chip on it. The most popular pizza take away place in south africa, debonairs, does not have a topping containing choc chip. I don't know about other pizza places in south africa. I do experience a serious problem. I played the game 3 times thus far and each time, in the middle of the game, my pc reboots automatically. The first time I played the game, my pc rebooted after I delivered the pizza, on my way back to the kitchen. The second time, my pc rebooted while I was on my way to deliver the pizza. And the third time I played, my pc again rebooted while I was on my way to the pizza kitchen after I delivered the pizza. My pc never rebooted automatically before, only now in the middle of the pizza game. I have xp on my pc. Any idea what might cause this problem? I have a suggestion for you. Currently, after delivering the pizza, pressing f1 only tells me that I have no pizza to deliver. It would be nice if the f1 key can tell me the location of the pizza kitchen. I know I'm told the location of the pizza kitchen at the beginning of the game but I cannot remember the location. Thanks a lot for this nice game. [Audyssey] games we'd like to play: a minute to win it
Hi all Those of you who live in the US, have you watched the tv show a minute to win it? This show is broadcasted on south african tv on Friday nights 8:00, but the show takes place in the US. This game show consists of 10 levels if memory serves. With each level completed, the players' money are increased. completing all 10 levels the player gets 1 million dollars. Usually each player is actually a male and female couple. If memory serves, the player starts off with 3 lives. The player gets 60 seconds to complete the task. If the time is up, the player loses one life. One of the challenges I can remember: the player is standing up straight and is holding a lid in his hand. Then straight below him on the floor is a cup. The player must, in 60 seconds, try to throw the lid downlwards so that it covers the cup. The presenter of this show said that info about the game can be found at www.nbc.com I had a look at the website but I cannot find any info about the show. Hi dark Its all random facts from various categories such as movies, sport, food and drink, science, and technology. Each level also have a number of lives and a number of passes. Passes means if you don't know whether a question is true or false you can double tap on pass. If all your passes are up then you have to answer the question with either true or false. Re: [Audyssey] amusement park rides we remember
HI Jim and tom The rides you mention sound interesting. Yes tom the sling slong is almost like the demon drop but on the sling slong, if memory serves, the people is fastened to it. They lie on a matrass. They don't stand. Then the sling slong moves upwards gradually but then it drops down suddenly. Oh yes, now I remember another ride I went on; not only at ratanga junction but also at shows when I was a kid. I'm talking of shows like shows where there are different stalls such as food stalls and clothes stalls. So its not a show like a concert show but a show consisting of many stalls. Anyway, a ride I remember from my childhood days is swings. They look like the normal swings at parks but those swings does not go up and down. They go round and round. When the swing starts, it rises a short distance into the air and then it goes round and round. What I didn't like about the swing rides, is that sometimes a person sitting on a nearby swing tries to be funny and kicks the swing I'm sitting on and then my swing would go wild. I think its unsafe if people kick other people's swings. And one thing about ones like the raptor where you are sitting with your feet dangling in the air, is that the seat in front of you blocks the air. They just give you too much time to think about how high you are etc. And then the person riding with you likes to rock the thing to make it even more scarry. Re: [Audyssey] amusement park rides we remember - Re: suggestion for park boss
I have been to ratanga junction once thus far. They also have both kid rides and adult rides. And I went on a ride called monkey falls. Its basically a little car in the shape of a tre log. Thrice during the ride, the ride goes up a steep ramp and then with a great speed comes down. And then going down the last ramp, everyone is splashed with water. And then ratanga junction also have a ride called the cobra. It's a looper coaster, not a roller coaster. I didn't go on it as I'm too scared of rides going up side down. But from what I have read on ratanga junction's website, this ride goes 32 metres in to the air and then goes up side down. And then another ride I remember but I am too scared to go on it. Its called sling slong if I remember correctly. At ratanga junction people also pays an entrance fee and then all the rides except for sling slong is free. Sling slong costs 30 rand if memory serves. This ride starts off by slowly ascending 33 metres. And then a button is pressed and the ride falls to the ground. i.e the ride does not travel downwards, it literally falls down. -Original Message- From: Gamers [mailto:gamers-boun...@audyssey.org] On Behalf Of Charles Rivard Sent: 05 October 2014 03:16 AM To: Dean Masters; Gamers Discussion list Subject: [Audyssey] amusement park rides we remember - Re: suggestion for park boss When I was a kid, there was a ride I loved! My itunes for windows program opens and I get an error message saying this program could not be found in the US ap store. Also, using my IPhone5s, I typed the name into the search field in the ap store ap, exactly as I read it on phil's site with the correct letters capitalized But I am told: no search results. Has apple removed this game from the ap store? Or do I have to use different key words? [Audyssey] games we'd like to play: musical chairs
Hi all Here is a new game concept for those of you who are studying bgt or another game programming language. First a bit of background. When I was a kid, I loved to play a game with my friends called musical chairs when we have a party. Musical chairs is a typical party game. If memory serves the minimum number of people must be five. Let's say 8 people is playing. Then 7 chairs are placed in a room. Then music is turned on. When I was a kid, we used fast and lively music like bluegrass music. Each person must find a chair and sit on it as quickly as possible. When the music stops, the person that is not seated on a chair is the loser. I'm not sure what the rule then is: If that person should not play in the next round. I played musical chairs years ago. I cannot remember what the rule then is. this is how I envision musical chairs as an audio game. I would place musical chairs in the arcade category. AS soon as the music plays, the player runs in the room by holding down an arrow key. Hold down left arrow to run left, up arrow to run ahead, down arrow to run backwards etc. All the chairs will make the same sound: either a voice saying chair or a sound that is easily identified with a chair. The other character's in this game concept are computer characters or bots also trying to find a chair as soon as possible. As soon as the player finds the chair he must center the sound of the chair in the center of the sound field by walking with the arrow keys until the chair's sound is centred. he must sit on it by pressing a tricky key combo like windows key plus alt plus shift plus control plus up arrow. If the music stops the character's name will be announced who is not seated on a chair, either the player or a bot. If the player is seated, an applause is heard. If the player is not seated on a chair the moment the music stops a buzzer is heard. If the player is seated on a chair when the music stops, the player is then taken to a bonus game likecandy hunt where the player runs in the room with the arrow keys and pick up different kinds of candy as much as possible within a given time. Candy like lickerish, toffees, nickerballs etc. If the player is not seated on a chair when the music stops, obviously the player does not qualify for the bonus game. What do you think of this concept? Bfn NIcol --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org. [Audyssey] help needed running adventure at c
HI all I am struggling a lot to extract the adventure at c executable. I downloaded this game through audiogames.net. First of all, is it possible to play adventure at c with windows xp? My xp machine is the only one that I can play games on. I have a laptop with windows7 but my laptop's earphone socket stopped working completely. For me its not possible to play games like side scrollers without earphones. So if its possible to play adventure at c with xp, onto my further question. I downloaded the game using the latest fire fox. My downloads directory for fire fox is inside the my documents folder. This is what I did thus far: I went to my downloads directory. I highlighted the zip file containing the game. I pressed the context menu key. I choose the open with submenu and I choose compressed zip folder. This opens the zip file using windows explorer. I highlight all the files. There is a folder called stages and then there is the readme.txt file and the game executable. I highlight all 4 items and I choose copy from the edit menu. The copy item is definitely available; its not dimmed. Next I open another instance of windows explorer. I go into the program files folder on my c drive. Here I create a folder called adventure at c. I open the folder I have just created. I choose paste from the edit menu. The paste command is available; its not dimmed. Now I have a screen showing me that the items are copying. I can hear my hard drive working. After a couple of minutes the screen closes and I am back in the folder I have created for adventure at c. But all the files except for the executable have been copied. The stages folder and the read me are there, but not the executable. I now go back to the zip file using windows explorer and I only highlight and copy the executable this time I go to the folder I have created and I paste again. Again I have the screen showing me the item are being copied. Again after a couple of minutes the screen closes and I am back inside my created folder. But the executable was not copied. I retried a few times but still no success. The only antivirus I have is avast. Inside the avast interface I went into settings. Then I went into exclusions; then into file paths. Now I went back to the folder I have created inside the program files folder. I press alt d to move to the address bar. Now I press home followed by shift end to copy the entire address. I went back to the exclusions area in avast and I added this path as an exclusion. I did the same with the downloads folder. So it cannot be avast that prevents me from copying the executable. I tried several times to copy the executable after I added both folders to avastt's exclusion's but no success. What can I do to be able to copy the adventure at c executable? [Audyssey] help needed with super mario bros
HI all There's something I find confusing in super mario bros. Those of you who haven't played the accessible version, but did play the mainstream version should also be able to help me. Do I understand this correctly? I stomp a goomba by jumping on top of it or across it? The read me doesn't say how a goomba is stomped. Sometimes when I just hold down up arrow for jump without moving with right arrow I hear the sound letting me know a goomba has been stomped. So how is a goomba stomped? The way jumping works in the accessible super mario bros. The uparrow for jump is pressed and held down for a few seconds to let mario rise. Then the up arrow is released. Then the right arrow is held down to move while airborn. What I find confusing: I hear the sound of walls from both sides and at the same time I hear the sound of a goomba. I hold down up arrow and then I release it and hold down left arrow or right arrow but sometimes the goomba kills mario. I find stomping a goomba a bit confusing. I find that if there's walls to the left and right, and I try to jump on top of the goomba, that the goomba kills me. Usually I can stomp a goomba quite easily when there is no nearby walls. Re: [Audyssey] making things last
Wow john thanks. You make me feel better. Since I was a kid, my mom and various other people accused me of handling my headphones roughly if they even slightly stopped working. I remember one of my primary school teachers used a saying: "Give something to a blind person and he will break it for you." Even when I was working, my colleagues and boss would accuse me of handling my headphones too roughly if they stopped working. Your e-mail makes me feel much better. Now after reading your message I realize that there is other blind people who test their equipment, not deliberately intending to break it. -Original Message- From: Gamers [mailto:gamers-boun...@audyssey.org] On Behalf Of john Sent: 05 September 2014 06:19 PM To: Gamers Discussion list Subject: Re: [Audyssey] making things last I think that you've misinterpreted my initial statement. I wasn't saying that you should abuse your equipment simply for the sake of abusing it. I was saying that its pointless (and possibly harmful) to 100% baby it. This is especially true in the case of hard drives, which were our initial subject matter. If you purchase a disk, you have no way of telling whether or not you've bought a device which is actually solidly built, or a disk which has manufacturer defects and thus will ware out substantially faster and fail well before most other disks will. By babying this equipment, treating it as carefully as you possibly can, you meerely increase the chances that, should the disk have defects, when it does fail, you will have important information on it (such as your game product keys). If you don't hesitate to be a bit rough on your equipment, when those manufacturer defects send everything sky high, you're more likely to be able to recover easily, because the equipment failed very early on, as opposed to seeming to be functional and giving you time to have mission-critical information stored on it. As you pointed out, I'm not exactly light on my hardware. As a result, I'm pretty much certain that all my current equipment is solid and will last me quite a while, because its already taken plenty of abuse and is still working as well as the day I got it. This isn't a guarantee, but at least I know I don't have an untested device with important information on it. --- This email is free from viruses and malware because avast! Re: [Audyssey] clear call stack in bgt
What is a call stack? And what will happen if a game have more than 1 functions? Will it take up too much CPU and memory? Is there any real danger if the call stack is increasing a lot? Unfortunately I do not have a solution for you as I am a very beginner with bgt myself. But this call stack subject sounds interesting . What I know as a beginner is that large programs take up more cpu and memory than small programs. With my very limited knowledge of the functioning of software I'd say as long as the code does not take up lots of cpu and memory you can go adventurous and have more than 1 functions. Others with better knowledge of programming may correct me. [Audyssey] audiogames.net
Hi all For the most part, audiogames.net is up and runnning again. I can easily locate games in the database by using the combo box. For example I select unseen alpha missions and click go and the page came up with the info about this game. And clicking on the url link takes me to the developer's website. But I am not able to use the search feature. ON the page to search the database I selected 7128 software from the combo box listing all the developers. And I click the search button. But it does not bring up the search results for 7128.com. After selecting 7128 and clicking search, the next time I check the combo box is reset to the first item which is aprone. I tried this quite a number of times. First selecting 7128 in the combo box and click search but the results for 7128 does not come up. I tried both firefox 30 and internet explorer11. [Audyssey] stem stumper questions
HI all I'm slowly getting the hang of stem stumper thanks to theresa. I've picked up 2 strange things in stem stumper The first time I launched stem stumper a screen came up asking for my apple password. This is strange because I've set up the finger print touch ID. So whenever I download an ap it asks for my touch id and I just put my finger on the home button. Why did stem stumper asked for my apple password? Anyway, I entered my apple password. I am 100 percent sure of the password. I've made a note on my computer of the password so I'm 100 percent certain that is my password. Anyway stem stumper did not accept my password. The next time I launched stem stumper same thing happened. It again asked for my apple password. I entered it again but it didn't accept it. Then the next time I launched stem stumper the game told me : could not sign in, create an account. Then after that each time I launch stem stumper no screen came up to sign in or create an account. This is confusing. Like I said, I've set up my finger print touch id so it is not needed to put in my apple password. Why did the game asked for my apple password a couple of times? The second strange thing I've picked up with stem stumper. IN the beginning the first 3 or 4 times I played the game: While I flic left and right through the level, voice over would read to me the alphanumeric cells. But now all of a sudden voice over no longer reads these cells to me. I do hear the important info such as the sounds for the acorns, furtilizers and stumps but I no longer hear any alphanumeric cells. Those of you who play stem stumper: do you hear voice over read the alphanumeric cells? Is it important to hear the alphanumeric cells? Will it help me in game play? If so, how can I get voice over to read the alphanumeric cells? Many thanks for any help. Bfn NIcol --- This email is free from viruses and malware because avast! [Audyssey] Troopanum instalation resolved
HI tom and all My installation issue is eventually resolved. avast prevented Troopanum from being installed. The reason why I asked for help here before going into avast: IN the past if avast prevented me from running a game a voice would come up saying suspicious item detected. Today no such voice came up. I just got this strange installation error. Previously avast prevented me from running jim's life game. But after some exploring I figured out the exclusions area where I can tell avast to ignore certain folders. Earlier on I added the kitchen sinc folder inside the program files folder to avast's exclusions list and I was able to run jim's life game. Today I added the Troopanum folder inside the program files folder to the exclusions list in avast and voilla! I successfully installed Troopanum. [Audyssey] unable to install Troopanum 2.0
HI all I am unable to install Troopanum 2.0 on my pc with xp home. Here is the error I get: C:\Program Files\Troopanum 2.0\troop.exe An error occurred while trying to rename a file in the destination directory: MoveFile failed; code 2. The system cannot find the file specified. Click Retry to try again, Ignore to skip this file (not recommended), or Abort to cancel installation. I clicked retry lots of times but still same error. Upon getting this error, I checked in my program files folder. There is no Troopanum 2.0 folder created before I clicked on the setup file. I clicked ignore but then all the other files but the executable have been installed. I clicked on the icon for play Troopanum 2.0 but then I get an error telling me windows could not find the target for the shortcut. So I uninstalled and restarted my pc and tried again but still same error. HI all Have you played this game? Is it worth the money? Does this game have replay value? Is there a demo to try before I buy? [Audyssey] i'm stuck in stem stumper; please help
Hi all I'm on level7 of stem stumper and I am completely stuck. I cannot find any food on this level to give me more flower power. All there is is the bag of furtilizer which I cannot eat at this stage. If I double tap on the fertilizer, I get a sound telling me its not available. After blowing up all the acorns, the game stops, telling me I have ran out of flower power. The game told me that if I want to keep playing after my flower power has ran out, I must turn on no fail mode in settings. What exactly does no fail mode do? If no fail mode is a cheet, I don't want any cheets. The game told me if no fail mode is on, I can still play although my flower power has ran out. But I rather want to be able to pick up food to give me more flower power instead of turning on no fail mode. What am I doing wrong? Are you guys using no fail mode? Is no fail mode a cheet? AS far as I understand, from what I have read on audiogames.net and pcsgames.net, there is food on all the levels that will increase my flower power. But I cannot find any food on level7. I double tapped on every single cell in the game but I cannot pick up any food. I played level7 a few times but without luck. Each time the acorns take away all my flower power and the game stops. And how do I deal with the stubborn stumps? Double tapping on them does nothing. Any help is much appreciated. Bfn NIcol --- This email is free from viruses and malware because avast! [Audyssey] stem stumper questions
Hi all I downloaded stem stumper and I like the sounds. I heard alphanumerical cells being spoken. It reminded me of a chess board. I played 5 levels already but I ran out of flower powder. The game told me I should make sure to blow up the right acorns. How do I know which are the right acorns to blow up? I selected sonar. Do you also use sonar mode or do you use animation mode if you are a beginner? The program told me that animation mode is for beginners. But I heard somewhere that for voice over users sonar is the best. I can't remember where I heard it. So for a beginner like me, would you recommend sonar or animation mode? And do you perhaps know how many mb is the stem stumper ap? The reason for asking: my service provider charges me 2 south african rand per mb so I would like to work out how much they will charge me for downloading stem stumper. If I know the amount of mb, I can just multiply it by 2. Any help is much appreciated. Bfn nIcol --- This email is free from viruses and malware because avast! Hi Charles NO, the way I am planning to develop the game: You will hear the voice asking you to press control shift c. Lets say you hear the voice in the left speaker. After responding by pressing control shift c you press your left arrow because you heard it in the left speaker. [Audyssey] my game development dreams and goals
HI all I would like to tell you about the dreams and goals I have with game development. I am extremely enthusiastic and excited to learn bgt. I've began reading the help file. I'm only now in the very beginning stage of learning bgt but in the meantime I thought of wetting your apetite. The first game I plan to develop will be a game similar to VIP game zone's keyboard crazy but with a twist. This game will be especially handy for people learning the keyboard. Another reason for me plannig to develop this game is that I feel marvelsoft's talking typing teacher does not have challenging typing games. Their keystroke exercises and typing games is too borring in my opinion. This future game will have 3 difficulty levels. ON easy, the game will give you plenty of time to respond with the correct key or key combination. On medium you will have less time; you have to respond almost immediately . On all 3 difficulties you have to first respond with the correct keystroke and then press one of the arrow keys to indicate did you hear the keystroke on the left, centre or right. ON hard difficulty, you have to press the opposite arrow key of the direction indicated. For example if you hear control shift c in the left speaker, you press your right arrow. If you hear it in the centre press up arrow on all 3 difficulties. Unlike keyboard crazy, this future game will ask you to press key combinations such as alt plus down arrow. I have another good reason why I feel like developing this future game, not only for myself, but for the gamers community. keyboard crazy have 2 serious bugs. First, when the game asks me to press a punctuation sign that requires the shift key the game does not accept my response and I lose a life. And often the game does not tell me which key to press, I only hear the background ping sound and then I also lose a life. I have written to the developer long ago about these bugs but I got no response. So I feel the blind gamers community needs a nice challenging game similar to keyboard crazy. I'm also planning to develop a game where the player must listen to various musical instruments and type the correct name of the instrument in little time. Another future plan is to develop a game similar to mud splat. This time the player must save the city by splatting water on fire breathing dragons threatening to take over the city. This is just a glance into my future game development plans. I hope I can, some time in the near future, contribute a great deal to this community. Hi tom Well, in jaws15 you press alt plus windows key plus s to mute the speech but I don't know if that will remove the keyboard hook while playing games. I rarely use Jaws any more myself. That said, I do know in the versions of Jaws I've used I can't just flick speech on and off the way I can with NVDA or the way you can with Supernova. At least, that has been my experience. there may be a way to do what you want to do, but I'm just not familiar with any current Jaws releases to give you an answer without downloading the Jaws demo, installing it, and playing around with it to find out if what you are asking is possible or not. In NVDA one can press insert+s until it disables speech or enables speech which is quick and easy. Cheers! --- This email is free from viruses and malware because avast! [Audyssey] stem stumper
HI all I'm now getting the hang of my IPhone5s so I am ready to check out some games. The first game I downloaded was zany touch. I like it a lot. At this time I'm not going to buy the full version. The only difference between the free and full version: with the free version, there is only 30 tasks and then the game ends which is fine for me. The full version gets faster and faster untill its humanly impossible to respond. That's the only difference. And with the free version I can also try out the game on medium and hard levels. I don't have a lot of money to spend so I'll rather buy stem stumper after trying the demo. For those of you who played stem stumper, a few questions. I can always check out the demo but it would be nice to get answers from experienced players. is it necessary to play stem stumper with earphones? And does stem stumper have the same audio field that pc audio games have? IN other words, will I hear sounds in my left ear, in the middle and in my right ear if I use earphones? And if its necessary to use earphones to play stem stumper, does the game have a speaker test function that pc audio games have? Any feedback is much appreciated. [Audyssey] games we'd like to play: circus charlie
HI all For those of you who are looking for a new game idea, especially now that bgt is freeware, there is a game I would very much like to play. Its called circus charlie. It might be a nintendo game; I'm not sure. I played this game as a kid on a small console connected to a television set with the help of my sighted friends. I no longer have this console. My mom gave it away accidentally and I can no longer find such a console in south african shops. I doubt if the original game was a side scroller but I think for bgt the easiest way to code it might be to make it a side scroller. The game had 5 stages. In stage1 the player is standing on the back of a lion and must jump across fiery pots and fiery rings. In stage2 the player is running on a rope high in the air. The player must jump across monkeys walking on the rope. The monkeys will try their best to knock the player off the rope, especially an occasional big blue monkey. In stage3 the player have to jump from ball to ball. AS far as I can remember, these are huge balls. They are like gymnastic balls and they are colored. The color does not affect game play . its simply eye candy. The ball on which the player stands is rolling quickly and then the player must make it onto the next ball before the ball on which the player stands rolls from underneath him and knocks him to the ground. In stage4 the player is standing on the back of a donkey and must jump onto a trampoline as soon as the donkey passes the trampoline. Once on the trampoline the player must then again jump back onto the donkey's back once the donkey passes the trampoline. When the player doesn't make it onto the trampoline in time the donkey will throw the player off his back. If the player does not jump onto the donkey's back in time the trampoline will throw the player onto the ground. Then the pattern repeats until the end of the stage. In stage5 the player is on a high swing like a trapeze. IN circus charlie this swing goes up and down like a normal swing. Then the player have to jump onto a trampoline as soon as the trampoline is right underneeth the swing. Else the swing will throw the player onto the ground. Once on the trampoline the player have to jump back onto the swing else the trampoline might throw the player to the ground. I'm not sure how easy this would be to code with bgt. What concerns sounds, I think the sounds of donkeys and a fire sound for the pots and rings would hopefully not be too difficult to get from the web. Also it would hopefully be easy to get monkey sounds from the web for stage2. For the balls in stage3 the best sound would be a sound similar to the rolling ball sound in ten pin alley. This too hopefully shouldn't be too difficult to find on the web. And I think a sound for the donkey would hopefully be quite easy to get from the web too. And for the trampolines and swing screeching sounds would fit. I think circus charlie would fit into the arcade category. The player does not always run to the right. Sometimes the player have to run to the left. AS far as I can remember, from playing circus charlie with sighted friends years ago, the player runs a bit to the right, jump across objects and then runs a bit to the left and again jump and so on. [Audyssey] a very exciting new board for jim's monopoly game
Hi all I made a very exciting board. Well, I think its very exciting. The url is: https://www.sendspace.com/file/l0e35a I created this board to get over a very unpleasant incident which happened twice at our local kentucky in hermanus where we live. A couple of years ago our local kentucky used to sell milk shakes. I can remember ordering a nice milk shake from them a couple of years ago; tasting the same as a macdonalds milk shake. Our kentucky is drive through which means people order at the first window and collect their food at the next window. So a couple of months ago I wanted to buy a milk shake. So we stopped at the first window and kindly asked for a chocolate milk shake. The woman who served us was so, so unprofessional. First she shouted at her colleagues asking if they sell milk shakes. She was suppose to do her home work and know beforehand if kentucky sell milk shakes or not. Then we got this very abrupt answer NO milk shakes. So we asked what is going on, is their machine broken or what? But we again got the same unprofessional answer: no milk shakes. The same thing happened a few weeks ago. All they had that was slightly close to a milk shake is this chocolate crusher shake. Its soft serve ice cream with chocolate pieces but its not close to the milk shakes I can remember from our local kentucky a couple years ago So I made this new board, where I daydream about a milk shake ocean and other stuff. Its bad that we got such an unprofessional response but I get over it by playing this board. So here is what the different squares means: The red squares are, uhm, quite self explanatory. Mister and misses chicken are fictitious squares. Mister chicken is an extraordinary chicken thigh and miss chicken an extraordinary drum stick. I'm not going to name every square here. The squares I don't mention in this message are plain fictitious. Streetwise 2, 4 and 6 are different boxmeals that are sold at our local kentucky with 2, 4 and 6 pieces chicken respectively. abba me daddy you are my hero daddy and golden family time these squares I named after I heard a kentucky advert on the radio. When families at kentucky branches in south africa order the family treat box meal, some of them carry their children on their backs. IN south africa, when a dad carries his child he abba his child. [Audyssey] jim's monopoly
Hi I am having a very exciting game of monopoly. I play with the macdonald land board. Something exciting happened which I never expected will happen. I was in a bad fix. I owned 2 of the red properties and the computer oponent 1 red property. I owned 1 purple property and the computer oponent 1 purple property. The computer oponent owned all the yellow properties and all the gold properties. So the computer oponent quickly placed restaurants on his properties. So I used the buy, sell or trade menu option. I gave the computer oponent the one purple property that I owned. And I took the red property from the computer oponent. So I traded the purple property for the red property. Now I have both red properties so now I easily placed restaurants on the red properties. Now the computer oponent is in a bad fix. Had the computer oponent said no thank you on the deal I wouldn't have been able to buy restaurants. So the computer oponent agreed on the deal without noticing that I will be able to buy restaurants. So now the computer oponent already had to pay me a lot of rent as the computer oponent landed on my restaurants on the red properties quite a lot of times. This is exciting, because if the oponent was a human, the opponent wouldn't have agreed to the trade deal. A human oponent would have realized that I want to trade properties in order to place restaurants on properties'; in order to get out of a bad fix This is the first time in a game of monopoly that I am able to trade properties' with a computer oponent and then get out of this bad fix by putting restaurants on properties. I use the mary and mike voices with jim's games. 2 small weird things I have picked up while playing monopoly: When I get a chance card and it's a free out of jale card. Then mary says: This card may be kept until needed o r sold. So mary doesn't say or but o r. This is not at all a problem for me, its just a small weird thing I have picked up. Maybe it's the way how mary read text. And its nice to get the time while playing monopoly. Something weird that I pick up if I press f4 to get the time mary says island, not is. For example lets say the time is 11:00 I press f4, mary will say The time island 11:00. Instead of the time is 11:00. Maybe that's just how mary read text. --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org. Re: [Audyssey] tom's black jack game
Hi Tom Thanks, I clicked on the link you gave and I successfully downloaded and extracted all the files. I successfully installed everything. There is 4 files: Python_2.0.0 run time PythonScriptShell_2.0.0_3_0 PythonScriptShell_2.0.0_3_2 PythonScriptShell_2.0.0_high_capas But unfortunately I am not able to run your black jack game. Here is all the steps I have taken. I installed those 4 files to my phone's internal memory. The installation was successful. Now I am in the file manager program on my phone. I copied all the black jack files to my phone's internal memory. My phone has a little square shaped thing. Pressing up and down on this square will move me one item down or up. Pressing in the middle of the square selects/activates the current thing. So to open a file in file manager I press in the middle of the square. So the blackjack.pyc file is highlighted. Now I press in the middle to open it. I am getting an error message that says: unable to open, file type not supported. Now I go out of file manager and I go to the list of applications on my phone. On the main menu, I press the select button for applications. Now there is 3 added applications. All 3 applications is called python script shell. Now inside this python script shell applications, I press the options key on the left and I choose the run script option. Now from the list I press the select button on blackjack.pyc. Now as I move the cursor up, down, left and right all I hear is: Press return to continue. My phone does not have a return key. The closest thing to the return key is the select button in the middle of the little square. Pressing the select button nothing happens. I press the options key on the left but I only get the usual options: Run script, interactive console, editing options, input options, blue tooth console and about. I press the select button on interactive console but all I get is greater than signs and the only option I get is previous command. It doesn't run the black jack game. Under editing options I only have copy and cut. Under input options I only get: activate prediction, settings, writing language and help. And under settings I only get: word auto completion on. I again selected the run script option and this time I choose blackjack.py. Same thing, I am not able to play the game. Your help is much appreciated as I would very much like to have a game to play while I am not at home. -Original Message- From: Gamers [mailto:gamers-boun...@audyssey.org] On Behalf Of Thomas Ward Sent: 24 May 2014 07:14 AM To: Gamers Discussion list Subject: Re: [Audyssey] tom's black jack game Hi Nicol, Well, sorry to say once again you grabbed the wrong thing. Re: [Audyssey] tom's black jack game
Hi tom Thanks for the link. However, I find this website very confusing. I scrolled down the page from top to bottom and I listened carefully to each line of text. I used the jaws find feature. At the top of the page I pressed control plus f and I typed in nokia and hit enter but jaws said nothing was found. and the only link I could find on that page that made some sense is PythonForS60_1_4_5_SDK_3rdEdFP1.zip So I downloaded the zip file and I extracted everything. I also have a symbian phone, the nokia c5. I am also looking for games that I can play on my phone as I am not always at home. I've tried playing the word game on www.freerice.com on my phone but its partly inaccessible. I am able to get to the part of the website where I choose the correct answer, but I never know if the word I chose is correct. The line of text where it shows whether the answer is correct, doesn't show on my phone's web browser. And I also struggle to get to the part of the website to choose the correct answer. On my pc, with either internet explorer or fire fox I can set place markers with jaws but on my nokia, talks doesn't have a place marker feature. So it takes a lot of time to get to the list with the 4 answer choices. I am able to play rs games 1000 miles on my phone using the web client. I haven't tried other rs games yet. But so far with 1000 miles I can say that the rs games web client is accessible with a symbian phone. [Audyssey] games we'd like to play: dialogue flight simulator
Hi all For those of you who are looking for a new game concept to develop, I've been thinking of a new kind of flight simulator that is basically a massive dialogue box with lots of buttons, radio buttons and sliders. I remember when I was a kid, I was flying by plane to visit my parents in the school holiday. I asked the attendant during a certain flight how a plane works, how the pilot drives the plane. And she told me that the pilot drives the plane by pressing lots of buttons the whole time during the flight. The attendant told me that there is lots of buttons and levers on the pannel in front of the pilot and each button and lever has a color and size. That was 30 years ago. But I think it would be a neat concept for someone who wish to develop a flight simulator . A flight simulator like three d velocity have a very steep learning curve. I think it would be fun to drive a plane by only pressing lots of buttons the whole time. I think that a dialogue box flight game would have a less steep learning curve. So basically this game is only a dialogue box. For the beginner there is a training mode where the pilot is training a new pilot. So the gamer navigates this dialogue box , like all other dialogue boxes, with the tab key. Each button's name is a color. Let's say we navigate with tab and our screen reader says for example small white button. Now we press tab and the next button's name is large brown button. Etc. The game then has at training mode where the pilot teaches the new pilot which buttons to press to take off and land etc. Lets say for example the pilot says: to take off you need to press 5 buttons. First you need to find and press the small white button and then the brown large button. Then you need to find and press the second one of a group of 5 blac radio buttons. Then you need to find and pull a large black lever or slider. Then you need to find and pull a small white lever. Then the plane successfully is taking off. So now the challenge comes in for the gamer to navigate with tab in time until he finds the small white button etc. What can make this challenging is to find the necessary buttons in a short amount of time. Lets say the gamer have to press tab 7 times to get to the small white button, then 5 times to get to the brown large button. Then tab 8 times to get to the group of black radio buttons. Etc. So based on what the flight attendant told me when I was flying by plane 30 years ago: this dialogue box contains command buttons, radio buttons and levers or sliders such as the sliders in the windows volume control. The attendant told me that driving the plane requires that the pilot presses buttons and turning levers the whole time during the flight. So lets say the challenge comes in that, if the gamer takes too long to find and press a button or pull a lever, that something fatal happens for example the plane falls to the ground. I don't know how planes is driven in south africa these days. I only recall what the attendant told me when I flown by plane 30 years ago. I think this dialogue box flight simulator will not only be fun but would also teach a blind person new to the windows environment, to navigate in dialogue boxes. This kind of game can also improve one's memory. In dialogue boxes in windows programs each field in the dialogue has a hot key. So lets say that the group of black radio buttons has alt b as hot key. Now the gamer first gets training mode where he explores all the buttons and levers on the pannel memorizing the hot keys. So during an actual flight the gamer either have to press tab quickly to get to the right button or lever, or the gamer have to remember that button or slider's hot key. Hot keys of fields in dialogue boxes always is the alt key together with a letter key. --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org. [Audyssey] I need some advice regarding the bopit extreme2 game
Hi all I need some advice please. I would like to buy the bopit extreme2 hand held toy that raul demonstrated. I need to buy it online through a site such as amazon. I need to buy it from a site that would be able to ship it to me as I reside in south africa. So I did a google search for bopit extreme2 and I got a search result in amazon.com. I'm really confused here. On Amazon.com it gives three different bopit games. Firstly,: Bop It Extreme 2 by Hasbro $95.00 then Bop it $18.15 then Bop It XT $19.57 what is the difference between bopit extreme2 and bopit xt? I cannot afford the bopit extreme2 game that costs 95 dollars. Its about 900 south african rand. I would like to buy the bopit extreme2 game that raul demonstrated on asmodean. If memory serves, raul said on that recording that bopit extreme2 cost 25 dollars at that time. If I go for one of the other 2 bopit games listed on amazon, which one is the closest to bopit extreme2? Also I find the amazon site confusing. I cannot find a place to enter my shipping details and credit card number. Your help is much appreciated. --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org. [Audyssey] bsc classic pipe
Hi all I just now played classic pipe. My hammer hitting accuracy was 100 percent. I.e I never missed with my hammer. And I didn't lose any lives. I played on easy difficulty. But here's the most interesting part. I tried posting my score. The game told me sorry your score is too low please try again. Does this mean that the score posting part of blindsoftware.com is still working? If blindsoftware.com is totally down, the game is suppose to give me an error. But the fact that it told me my score is too low, doesn't it mean it successfully connected to the score posting server? I just now went to www.blindsoftware.com and the home page for the mush client came up. This is really interesting. --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org. [Audyssey] jim's press your luck game
Hi jim and list Jim, I enjoy your press your luck game. I just need help with 2 things please. When its my turn to play, I press enter on the menu item presss your luck. Then I hear a bleeping sound playing. The sound pans very quickly from left, centre, right. When is it the best time to hit enter? The first time I played this game I waited 5 minutes but after 5 minutes the bleeping sound still plays. Will this sound play until I hit enter? When is the best time for me to hit enter. Do I need to press enter if I hear the sound in my left speaker? or my right speaker? or the centre? Because this bleeping sound pans very quickly from left, centre right. When is it the best time to hit enter? It happens a lot that I hear the explosion and I lose all my money. Do I press enter at the wrong time? I live in south africa; thus I never heard of the tv show press your luck. I notice that sometimes there's an explosion and then I have 0 dollars. Was there an explosion in the tv show as well? And then I'd like to know what prizes I have won. Sometimes I cannot propperly hear the prizes I have won. Sometimes I can't make out the mary and mike voices pronouncing the prizes Is the prizes written to a text file so that I can use my screen reader to read the names of the prizes? Thanks for this nice game. --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org. I am an on off gamer, and have recently got on to gaming thanks to the closing down sale at www.blindsoftware.com I have all the games and software, both free and paid, that he has ever done, as well as the free games from Dan Z Games, because I just like them, especially Super Deekout which I absolutely love because of its randomness and the arcade style which I like in general. This is why I also love Pipe 2 Blast Chamber. I also have a few games on my iPhone 4, but not sure whether this is discussed here, so, as one of the thugs would say, "stop right there!"
