Sebenarnya untuk AC, seharusnya, satuannya adalah, yang berhubungan dengan
energi thermal, yaitu BTU/hour atau kCal/hour.
Energi 1 BTU/hour kalau tidak salah, adalah energi yang dibutuhkan untuk
menurunkan atau menaikkan temperatur 1 galon air menjadi 1 derajat
Fahrenheit dalam 1 jam.

Umumnya AC yang ada di pasaran sekarang, sudah mencantumkan kapasitasnya
dalam BTU/hour antara lain 6000 BTU/hour, 9000 BTU/hour dan 12000 BTU/hour

Untuk bisa mendinginkan udara, maka digunakan media Freon yang ditekan oleh
kompresor. Untuk menekannya, maka diperlukan tenaga dan tenaga ini biasanya
di definisikan dalam satuan daya kuda atau PK (PK dalam bahasa Belanda yang
bunyinya sekilas sih sepertinya Parden Krach ?)

Tenaga itu, diperoleh dari putaran tenaga motor listrik, yang satuannya
adalah Watt.

Secara umum, untuk AC, satuan kapasitas yang sering disebut masyarakat umum
adalah dalam PKnya.
Sebagai patokkan sederhana, umumnya 1 PK adalah 9000 BTU/hour dan bisa
mendinginkan RUANG TIDUR dengan tinggi 3 meter, seluas 25 meter pesegi.
Tentunya untuk ruang yang penggunaannya bukan ruang tidur, perhitungannya
tidak bisa digunakan patokan sederhana ini.

Saya sudah install wingate dan client juga sudah bisa akses ke Internet 
melewati proxy server.
Tetapi masih ada komputer yang bisa konseksi ke Internet dengan koneksi 
Gateway dan DNS diarahkan ke Router.
Bagaimana caranya agar semua Client hanya bisa koneksi ke Internet 
hanya 
jika memaki proxy server ?
Jika di kantornya ada yang pakai Wingate share pengalamanya dong.

dear all...
saya mau tanya nih, bagaimana sih membuat auto run cd yg menampilkan file2
PDF, dan bagaimana juga membuat suatu keadaan dimana pada saat cd yang
berisi file PDF tersebut di-Run, maka apabila cd tersebut dibuka di komputer
yang tidak terinstal adobe acrobat reader didalamnya maka secara otomatis cd
tersebut menampilkan proses installasi adobe acrobat reader untuk
menampilkan file2 PDF dalam cd.

mungkin pertanyaannya sedikit beribet, tapi saya harap semuanya mengerti dan
memiliki solusi dan pencerahan.

 mungkin agak sulit menceritakan pengalaman investment di maxgain via milis. 
kalau baik2, nanti disangka agak membual, kalau yang jelek2 nanti disangka 
melecehkan. 
 
 saya sendiri bukan investor langsung untuk hal ini. hanya pada waktu itu 
mendampingi teman yang sedang berseteru karena, seperti pertanyaan bapak 
syikwabhairawa (bener ga nih nama di imel nya), dimata kami mungkin seperti 
tidak digaransi, namun di pihak mereka, PT yg mereka operasikan sudah 
memberikan garansi. yah, kesalahpahaman atau ketidakmengertian kami di bidang 
investment ini membuat kami, atau lebih tepatnya rekan saya kehilangan duit 
lebih dari US$5000. Tapi ya "mungkin ini adalah resiko untuk berinvestasi" 
(kata2 tersebut diambil dari consultant PT tersebut).
 
 Kami sama sekali tidak menyalahkan perusahaan tersebut, karena kami juga lemah 
karena tidak mengerti, oleh karenanya kami cukup merasa sedikit tertipu, 
sedikit bodoh, dan sedikit nekat bermain di investasi. atau mungkin kapok kali 
ya lebih tepatnya.
 
 intinya, itu hanya segelintir pengalaman yang kami lewati. kalau mungkin 
rekan2 yang lain ingin berinvestasi, silahkan. jangan jadi kan ini sebagai 
penghalau. karena mungkin rekan-rekan lebih hati-hati dan lebih mengerti 
daripada kami.

Kalo gak salah LX850 headnya 9 Pin yah? saya pernah dulu 8 thn yl :-)
menurut saya mudah kok asal pas pengangkatan jarum dari posisi-nya HARUS
bersamaan agar ketinggian tiap jarum tetap. Utk memastikan patah atau
tidaknya jarum terlihat dari hasil cetakan (meski belum pasti) dan jarum yg
muncul ke permukaan kertasnya (cukup diraba aja). Harga per jarum 10rb-an di
M2 kalo gak salah sih :-)

Mas, sepertinya udah jelas errornya, anda baru remove 2 IP yg 'pernah
dijadikan Bridge' sementara DNS Service di Wingate tsb belum anda update.

Sebelumnya, maaf saya belum pernah pake wingate :-) jadi gak bisa lebih
detil, yg pasti setiap anda update IP pasti anda harus mengupdate semua yg
berhubungan dgnnya. Moga2 membantu kawan :-) Sukses..!!

rasa rasanya susah dijawab kalau dalam bentuk rumus. Data anda kan 
cooling capacity (1PK) yang sebetulnya untuk technical measurement yang 
umum adalah dalam BTU/hour.
Dari situ anda menanyakan daya motor compressor dan evaporator, ya 
kurang nyambung pak, karena bisa bergantung pada jenis AC-nya (window, 
split), mereknya apa (Daikin inverter super hemat etc), tahun berapa 
produksinya (efisiensi), jenis refrigerant-nya.

So jawaban yang paling mudah adalah ke toko lalu nanya, typikal AC 1 pk 
berapa pemakaian daya listriknya, dan sesuai type AC yang anda butuhkan.

kalo saya gak salah inget waktu pernah cobain Wingate 3.x rasa rasanya 
ada Cuman ya itu, si Wingate kudu duduk di posisi router, atau kalau 
tidak di ditiap client dipasangi Wingate Internet Client software.

Tapi itu jaman dulu banget yah, tahun 2000-an dan before. Mungkin 
sekarang sudah tambah canggih :D

[Kieky Lubis]

Biasa setelah diinstall sp2, driver hardwarenya ada yang gak cocok, bisa 
diperbaiki dengan cara update langsung ke Microsoft.

Saya menggunakan Card Reader NVidia juga mengalami hal yag sama, namun 
setelah update jadi ok tuh.

klo untuk merubah alamat ip di machine windows dengan menggunakan

Jd misalkan saya meremote PC Windows, dan saya ingin merubah ip dari

Driver CDROM Sony CDU5211 dan CDRW Yamaha CDRW2200E di Windows XP SP2 tau-tau 
ngga bisa yah, tadinya okay-okay saja kok. Errornya : Windows cannot load the 
device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 
39). Kalau ada yg punya mohon japri temans.

Misalnya ada info begini:

NAT and proxies

Although in most cases NAT and the WGIC will satisfy all requirements for
Internet sharing, sometimes the WinGate Proxies are necessary.

If you decide to use a proxy you must separately configure each application
individually.  This will require specifying the WinGate server IP address
and the port that the proxy service is running on (this is displayed next to
the service in GateKeeper).
NAT can efficiently use proxies 'transparently' for common services such as
WWW and FTP.

You don't need to do anything to enable this as it works by default.

Note:
If you configure an application to use a proxy, it will not use NAT.

Nah kalau sudah jadi professional kan sebaiknya bersertifikasi dong.
Memang punya sertifikat belum tentu punya field experience, apalagi kalo 
ujiannya rame rame minta soal dari yang sudah ikutan duluan.
Tapi kalo kita sudah mampu, lalu kenapa tidak ambil sertifikasi?

most possibly Windowsnya corrupt, coba CHKDSK drive C:/
kalau masih juga, coba reinstall Windows, tapi pilih option untuk 
memperbaiki Windows, bukan full initial install
Gak bisa juga, baru full initial install, tapi data pindahin dulu

Sudah tau belum gimana caranya login ke komputer yang ingin dirubah nomor 
IPnya? Kalau saya belum pernah nyoba login remotely ke komputer windows. 
Kalau ngga login dulu, ya ngga akan bisa.
Loginnya pakai apa? bisa di telnet ngga? atau remote login? kalau bisa 
remote login, pakai account yang bisa merubah setting IP. Terus di 
registrynya dibuka izin untuk mengubah nomor IP ngga? Kalau di komputer 
tempat kerja saya, registrynya memblok semua user untuk mengubah nomor IP 
(Windows). Harus pakai program khusus yang dimiliki oleh admin.

mo tanya2 neh... gw dulu pernah install XP, yg pertama crash trus gw install
XP lagi dan proses instalasi yg kedua berhasil.. yg jadi pertanyaan setiap
booting jadina ada 2 pilihan gitu, dua-duanya XP.. jadi ky kita make dual OS
gitu, ada pilihan... gimana caranya ngilangin pilihan tersebut yahh...

prompt trus ketik :

netsh interface ip set address name="Local Area

klo di linux biasa nya network address nya ada di
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ethx < x-nya bisa
0,1 atau 0:1>
tinggal diedit aja pake vi atau joe. trus diaktifin
pake "ifup eth0"

klo ganti ip windows lewat remote dos,kayanya belum
tau..mungkin yang lain ada yang bisa. :)

ping ke server ftp & web berhasil, tapi tidak bisa mengaksesnya
Kira-kira masalahnya dimana ya? apa port nya diblok ? padahal

barusan saya update windows karena seperti biasa
muncul perintah update,

setelah selesai, aku restart dan sedikit jadi lambat
salah satu contoh saat kita refresh desktop dengan
klik kanan sangat lama munculnya, terus saat task
manager juga sangan lama muncul dan kdg tidak bisa
kembali ke layar windows

kira kira masalahnya dimaana?

nasional untuk mahasiswa yang diberi nama Bina Nusantara Programming
Contest for College Students. Hal ini ditujukan untuk mempersiapkan

Tersedia hadiah $4500 untuk 400 orang peserta yang mampu menyelesaikan 
task-nya.

Pada Summer Of Code 2005, 16 orang Indonesia mengirimkan proposal dan 
yangditerima 2 orang dan 2 orang yang diterima itu mampu menyelesaikan 
task-nya. Dua orang itu adalah :

1. Yolla Indria, alumni FT ITB angkatan 1998 (kalo tidak salah)

2. I Nyoman Winardi Ribeka P, IF ITB 2001

Ini ada cerita sedih  dari teman saya..dia dipanggil
 interview di MAXGAIN katanya mau dipekerjaan sebagai
 IT staff,sesampainya disana seperti yg kita biasa
 dengar..dia hanya ditawari satu posisi saja yaitu
 MARKETING EXCECUTIVE ( kasarnya sebagai trader yg
 tugasnya mencari client yg mau invest sebesar min 100
 jt)
 
 Karena sudah terlanjur datang dan penasaran,dia mau
 saja ikut pelatihan selama 2 hari penuh. Ternyata ada
 semacam "brain wash" dalam program training itu. Teman
 saya yg tadinya adalah seorang yg idealis dan kritis
 menjadi terbuai oleh iming2 dolar yg dipromosikan oleh
 MAXGAIN. Secara bulat..dia berhenti dari pekerjaannya
 dan mulai mencari client untuk menginvestkan
 uangnya.Dia pun mulai presentasi kesana kemari
 menjelaskan program MAXGAIN termasuk kepada saya
 
 Dalam tempo seminggu dia mendapatkan seorang clien yg
 mau menginvestkan uangnya sebesar 100 jt. Tapi memang
 itu bukan bidang dia..akhirnya dalam kurang  dari
 sebulan modal 100juta itu amblas ditelan pasar.
 Alhasil sekarang dia mencoba ngumpulkan lembar demi
 lembar uang untuk mengganti 100juta cliennya yg hilang
 itu..padahal dia sudah tidak punya penghasilan karena
 sudah berhenti dari pekerjaannya karena terbujuk
 rayuan akan kaya raya dari spot market yg ditawarkan
 MAXGAIN.Hutang sana sini akhirnya terpaksa dilakukan
 
 Sangat busuk sekali MAXGAIN yang merekut orang secara
 asal2an tanpa dilihat dari background masing2 terlebih
 dahulu. MAXGAIN pastinya sudah mengetahui bahwa teman
 saya akan gagal,dilihat dari backgoundnya sebagai
 seorang IT..jelas dia tidak kompeten di bidang itu
 tapi MAXGAIN membiarkannya bahkan membujuknya untuk
 masuk ke bisnis busuk mereka. MAXGAIN tidak peduli dgn
 semua itu yg penting modal 100juta sudah masuk.
 
 Training yg diberikan tidak banyak membantu karena
 kejadian dilapangan banyak sekali perbedaannya.
 Seperti pada saat mereka meyakinkan client bahwa modal
 mereka dilindungi oleh sebuah sistem yg kuat,sehingga
 walaupun tanpa pengalamanpun semua orang bisa menjadi
 trader tanpa harus takut menghilagnkan uang
 orang..nyatanya??? sistem pelindung tersebut tidak
 ada!! jadi kini banyak client yg menuntut rugi kepada
 para trader karena mereka dijanjikan bahwa modalnya
 tidak akan pernah hilang.
 
 Dalam masa sulit sekarang ini rasanya mudah membujuk
 orang untuk ikut bisnis seperti ini..tapi sampai kapan
 MAXGAIN dibiarkan mengeruk untuk dari penderitaan
 seseorang??? menurut saya MAXGAIN dan seluruh
 perusahaan sejenis yg menjual mimpi dan menipu orang
 untuk dapat survive adalah terkutuk dan busuk...Bila
 pemerintah ingin melindungi moral bangsa,rasanya tidak
 berlebihan kalau perusahaan seperti ini juga merupakan
 salah satu elemen yg harus DIBASMI

[ITCENTER] Hard Disk slave di NT. ngak bisa diakses di XP

gw punya hard disk slave di NT.4 isinya data semua, nah kemarin tuh 
komputernya rusak, karena datanya mau dipake gw jadiin slave di XP, 
udah detect and oke

cuma masalahnya kadang ada user yang bisa masuk ke documentnya kadang 
ada yang nga, tunggu beberapa saat yang tadi ngak bisa masuk jadi bisa 
masuk error boxnya "can't access  not assisable" kalo 
nga salah deh

tapi pas komputer XPnya gw restart lagi baru pada bisa masuk lagi ke 
documentnya
itu kenapa ya bos?? mohon pecerahaanya nih
