Yah namanya juga usaha ya ini saya ada applikasi yang belum kesebut
dibawah. Cukup mudah penggunaanya tanpa perlu installasi ke komputer,
bisa dijalankan via flashdisk atau langsung dari keping cd. Untuk
penggunaanyapun cukup mudah, bisa dipelajari sendiri. Kekuatannyapun
lumayanlah bisa buat recovery folder loh.

[ITCENTER] Share about W32.Downadup & Win32.Conficker

Bro, just sharing aja tentang W32.Downadup & Win32.Conficker

 

Komputer kantor dari Desember  2008 kemarin juga dah pada mulai kena,
setahuku worm ini muncul sekitar akhir November. Setelah googling2 kesana -
kesini ternyata masih belum banyak sumber yang tau gimana caranya buat
ngilangin worm ini, trus setelah baca2 di Symantec karena kebetulan di
kantor pake Symantec terdapat ciri2 seperti berikut dan kalau dirunut
kebelakang sebenarnya ada 2 fase penyebaran worm ini :

 

A.  Fase Pertama : W32.DownAdUp

1.   Worm ini menyerang dengan memanfaatkan bolongnya celah keamanan di
RPC (seperti pada kasus blaster beberapa tahun yang lalu-baca pejelasan
napak tilas RPC Dom dari pak Alfon-Vaksin.com), dan yang bisa terinfeksi
adalah hamper semua varian Windows, bahkan Windows 7 yang masih beta
version.

2.   Setelah computer terkena virus ini maka akan otomatis mendownload
file - file dengan extension *.JPG yang akan ditaruh di "C:\Documents and
Settings\Network Services\Local Settings\Temporary Internet
Files\Content.IE5\"

3.   Worm ini akan menjadikan salah satu computer menjadi server web
sehingga akan mem broadcast file - file tersebut diatas. Selama computer
server ini belum diatasi maka bias dianggap worm ini masih hidup di
Jaringan, effectnya adalah traffic menjadi penuh, dan apabila kita memakai
Symantec maka antivirus ini akan otomatis mendelete file2 yang di download,
dan ini akan berlangsung terus menerus sehingga akan mengganggu user dalam
bekerja tetapi tidak menjadikan jaringan terputus.

4.   Solusi yang dilakukan saat itu dan cukup efektif dalam mencegah
worm ini berkembang adalah :

. Update ke Windows XP SP3

. Update Antivirus Definition Files

. Patching Windows yang masih SP 1 dan 2 untuk menutup celah di
windows.

. Mengaktifkan Windows Firewall

 

B.  Fase Kedua : W32.Conficker

Di kantor saya fase ini muncul sekitar awal Januari dan setelah googling
ternyata ini merupakan modifikasi yang lebih baru dari W32.DownAdUp, dan
effectnya lebih parah (salut buat yang bikin virus.)

1.   Penyebaran worm ini sama dengan W32.downadup, yaitu memanfaatkan
celah bolong RPC dari windows (bahkan yang sudah diupdate sebelumnya).

2.   Worm ini juga akan memanfaatkan computer yang menjadi server untuk
membroadcast, bedanya server ini akan menyerang di svchost client, yang
effectnya adalah mematikan service2 berikut :

. Computer Browser

. DHCP Client 

. Windows Firewall

. Yang lain lupa (J)

3.   Setelah service - service tersebut mati maka otomatis Computer akan
tidak terkoneksi dengan jaringan LAN.

4.   Selain menyerang service - service tersebut, worm ini akan
menyerang SVCHOST dengan membuat SVCHOST palsu di
"C:\WINDOWS\SECURITY\SVCHOST.EXE"  yang nanti akan menyebabkan load tinggi
di SVCHOST yang asli dan akan membuat computer Hang dengan muncul pesan
"Generic Host Process Win32 ..bla bla bla."

5.   Kalau computer sudah terinfeksi maka akan muncul service baru
dengan nama : Windows Host32 Server Service yang kalaui dilihat akan
mereference file svchost.exe yang ada di "C:\WINDOWS\SECURITY\SVCHOST.EXE"  

6.   Solusi yang dilakukan dan sampai saat ini efektif adalah :

. Disable service Windows Host32 Server Service

. Delete "svchost.exe" yang ada di "C:\WINDOWS\SECURITY\SVCHOST.EXE"


. Delete Registry Windows Host32 Server Service ada di
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | SYSTEM | CurrentControlSet | Services | Win32Host
(dihapus satu folder), ada satu lagi registrynya W32 cuman saya lupa
tempatnya, di Find aja dengan ke cara find "Windows Host32 Server Service",

. Patching Windows lagi, dan hari Rabu 13 Januari 2009 kemarin
Windows melakukan patching lagi untuk RPC DOM ini.

. Mengaktifkan Windows Firewall

. Update Antivirus Definition Files

 

Sampai sekarang solusi - solusi diatas masih cukup efektif dari sisi client,
tetapi yang menjadi kendala saat ini adalah Computer Server penyebar virus
belum ditemukan, dan kalau menginstall Windows di computer baru selama belum
di patching maka otomatis bakal kena. Langkah yang dilakukan untuk
mengetahui computer mana yang kena virus adalah dengan menggunakan tools
WireShark tetapi juga belum ketemu, mungkin kalau ada yang tau caranya

Menurut gw itu ga legal alias illegal, memang kita sebagai admin kita perlu
melakukan proses clean up mail guna memperlancar kepentingan kantor. Tp ttp
saja, itu memerlukan izin dari user masing2. atw user tersebut dapat
diberitahukan, biar mereka mengurangi sendiri.

Kalo menurut saya sih itu legal aja. Karena e-mail yang diberikan oleh
kantor maka otomatis hanya boleh dipake untuk kepentingan kantor aja. Kalo
usernya ikutan mailing list yang isinya bukan berhubungan dengan kerjaan
maka otomatis itu menggangu kelancaran bisnis di kantor. Kasian kan mail
servernya tiap hari overload, dan admin tambah sibuk dengan pekerjaan
cleanup mailbox.

Masih untung tuh user nggak dikasi SP.

Untuk kasus Multiple Access hampir semua AP memiliki Auto Channel. Khusus untuk 
Bridges (Point to Point) sebaiknya menggunakan Channel yang didefinisikan. 
Pernah nyoba pakai Auto Channel, koneksinya tidak stabil. Apalagi sekarang yang 
pakai Class b/g dah banyak sekali. Kalau class a sih relatif masih sedikit.

Kalo yang biasa saya lakukan..

1.export dulu contact dari MS outlook (untuk dapatkan formatnya
saja)

2.simpan filenya selanjutnya

3.Isi datanya (copy - paste jika data sudah ada) namun jangan
merubah format yang sudah ada.

4.jika sudah selesai simpan datanya

5.lakukan import seperti biasa.

Saya lagi ada kesulitan nih mau masukin data Contact/phone book dari file
yang formatnya excel 2003
ke dalam contact yang ada di outlok 2007

saya udah coba melalui outlok 2007 melalui menu
file-impor dan ekspor-impor from another program or file-microsoft excel
97-2003-browse- (tunjuk file excel)
tapi respon yang keluar an "error has occured in microsoft excel 97-2003
tranlator bla bla..has no name range"

Mohon petunjuk teman2 milis...

Rekan IT Center

"Menurut saya" perihal Admin membuka e-mail user tergantung Level Admin 
tersebut.
Bila Job Desc Admin tersebut hanya untuk create dan setting e-mail serta 
stabilitas network, hal tersebut sama sekali menyalahi aturan Job Desc.

Tetapi bilamana Job Desc admin tersebut sebagai Super Admin, hal tersebut boleh 
- boleh saja ... tetapi "Wajib" hanya e-mail Internal Perusahaan. 

Note : Untuk dibawa ke Meja Hijau atau ke Kantor Polisi, yah boleh - boleh saja 
... tetapi hal tersebut tentunya dapat di lakukan secara arif dan bijaksana, 
karena bukan hanya menyangkut nama perseorangan, melainkan juga nama 
perusahaan. Dan bile personal tersebut benar-benar bersalah, yah ... di 
PENJARAKAN saja :)

 VIVAnews -- Spesies virus baru yang memungkinkan seorang
hacker mencuri data finansial dan informasi pribadi yang tersimpan di
komputer, telah menyebar ke jutaan komputer di seluruh dunia.

Fakta tersebut diungkapkan oleh firma keamanan F-Secure, baru-baru
ini. Spesies virus ini dinilai sejumlah analis sebagai salah satu
spesies terjahat. Ia dinamakan virus Downadup atau Conficker. 

virus ini memanfaatkan bug (cacat) yang ada pada Microsoft Windows dan
ditujukan pada sistem jaringan korporat dengan misi pembajakan dan
pencurian data. 
 
F-Secure, melakukan reverse engineering (semacam penelusuran jejak)
terhadap virus untuk mengetahui asal mula virus itu. Ternyata,
F-Secure mencurigai Ukraina sebagai negara pengekspor Conficker. 

Selain itu, F-Secure juga melakukan mekanisme call-back yang berfungsi
untuk memonitor seberapa banyak komputer di dunia yang telah terpapar
virus ini.

Ternyata, virus Conficker menyebar begitu pesat. Tak sampai sepekan,
ia sudah menginfeksi ke lebih dari delapan juta komputer di seluruh
dunia, kebanyakan yang bersistem Windows XP. 

"Selasa kemarin, baru ada 2,5 juta komputer. Keesokannya melonjak
menjadi 3,5 juta, dan hari ini (Jumat 16 Januari 2009) sudah genap
delapan juta," kata Mikko Hypponen chief research officer F-Secure
kepada CNN, yang dikutip VIVAnews pada Minggu 18 Januari 2009.

Kebanyakan komputer yang terinfeksi berada di wilayah Amerika Serikat,
Eropa, dan Asia. "Ini adalah virus yang paling serius dalam hal skala
sebarannya. Kami belum pernah melihat kasus seperti ini dalam beberapa
tahun belakangan."

Conficker tidak menyebar melalui e-mail atau web. Namun, bila sebuah
jaringan perusahaan terhubung dengan laptop yang sudah terinfeksi
Conficker, maka virus akan segera memindai jaringan tersebut, untuk
mencari komputer lain yang dapat ditularkan.

Virus ini bisa mengincar komputer yang memiliki celah keamanan,
menebak-nebak password komputer, menjajal ratusan kata yang mirip
untuk menjebolnya, dan bila password yang betul sudah ia kantungi, ia
akan mencoba menyebarkan virus ini lagi ke server lain. 

Mikko mengatakan pihak Microsoft telah merilis patch (tambalan)
MS08-067 untuk menutup celah kemananan ini. Oleh karenanya, virus akan
mencari komputer-komputer yang belum menginstal tambalan tersebut
untuk diinfeksi.
 
Selain itu, pengguna antivirus F-Secure juga bisa memperoleh patch
untuk menangkal virus tersebut dengan mengunduh update terbaru yang
tersedia sejak kemarin.

Tentu saja, virus ini bisa dibersihkan dari komputer yang sudah
terinfeksi. Problemnya, bila dalam satu perusahaan sudah ada ratusan
atau ribuan komputer yang terinfeksi, virus ini akan sulit untuk
dihilangkan. Bila tak dibersihkan secara serempak, ada kemungkinan
virus itu bakal kembali menginfeksi setelah dibersihkan.

[ITCENTER] Recovery Excel File

Hello ITers,

File excel yang di password di delete dengan menggunakan fungsi
shift+delete.
Saya coba recovery dengan menggunakan software-software dibawah ini:
1. GetDataBack for NTFS.
2. Ontrack EasyRecovery Pro.
3. Final Recovery.
4. Acronis Disk Director Suite.
5. Scavenger.
6. Filerecovery.
7. Undelete Plus.
8. Uneraser.
9. Recuva.

Tetap belum berhasil. Semua software diatas hasil googling.
Kemarin kejadiannya, sampai hari ini saya belum matikan PC-nya begitu
rekomendnya dari hasil googling.
Ada 2 partisi yaitu drive C dan drive D. Menggunakan Windows XP Pro SP3.
File-nya berada di drive D. Saya install semua software recovery diatas
di drive C.

Apakah karena file excel tersebut dipassword jadi agak sulit di recovery?
Padahal saat kejadian saat itu juga saya coba recovery.
Atau HDD-nya harus di tandem di PC yang lainnya? Untuk yang ini saya
belum lakukan.

sudah terpecahkan
ternyata dia nyimpan file di 
C:\RECYCLER\S-1-5-21-776561741-179605362-725345543-1003.
dia akan mereset ke file tersebut setelah komp di restart walaupun virus 
nya sudah di delete.
file tersebut tidak bisa di delete. karena file terprotect, harus pakai 
software unlocker baru bisa.

my answer:
coba liat di setting, kalo ada pengaturan yang berbau "localhost", di ubah
jadi IP kamu aja. Soalnya kl browser lain nganggep localhost jg, berarti kan
di komputer local-nya sendiri.

Dear All, saya menggunakan Outlook Express untuk e-mail; saya berlangganan 
provider cbn.net.id; Saya juga menggunakan outlook express untuk mengirim dan 
menerima e-mail di laptop. 

Yang ingin saya tanyakan, untuk setting outgoing mail, apa yang bisa saya 
setting di situ, kalau saya ingin bisa mengirim e-mail (outgoing e-mail) di 
laptop, dari mana pun, menggunakan koneksi internet di mana terdapat aksesnya 
(misalnya wireless net);

Sebelumnya, saya perhatikan, outlook express saya hanya bisa menerima e-mail, 
tapi tidak bisa untuk mengirim e-mail (outgoing mail). proses sending mail 
biasanya selalu error. Lalu saya cek, ternyata karena setting outgoing mail 
tadinya saya setting utk yg account e-mail cbn saya: cbn.net.id; saya lalu baru 
tersadar bahwa kalau saya gunakan akses net yang bukan cbn, misalnya seperti 
kalau di kantor kami menggunakan telkom.net, tentu e-mail tidak bisa terkirim, 
karena setting outgoing mail nya beda (yang tersedia telkom net, tapi ter 
setting cbn)

Pertanyaan saya, apakah saya harus selalu mengganti setting outgoing mail 
sesuai dengan provider di tempat akses net yg sedang saya gunakan, atau bisa 
dengan setting lainnya?

[ITCENTER] Mohon Saran tentang Motherboard dan PSU

[Fadjar Nurswanto]

Beberapa waktu lalu Motherboard (P5RD1-VM) dan PSU saya bermasalah, sehingga 
(sepertinya) harus 
diganti.

Prosesor menggunakan Intel Pentium Dual Core (Pentium D ?).

Mohon saran dari rekan-rekan motherboard dan psu yang bagaimana yang setara 
atau lebih baik dengan 
biaya sekitar 1 jutaan. Kalau bisa VGA tetap onboard karena saya tidak punya 
VGA Card. :)

Dear Pak Johannes A. Setiawan dan ITers,

Semua barcode scanner yang kami jual bisa membaca label barcode yang tertempel 
di barang yang melengkung / tidak lurus. Saya belum pernah menemukan barcode 
yang tidak dapat dibaca oleh barcode scanner kami selama jenis Code Read nya 
sesuai. Jenis Code Read diantaranya: UPC/EAN/JAN & Addon 2/5, Code 39, Code 39 
Full ASCII, Code 11,  Interleave 25, Industrial 25, Matrix 25, Code 128, 
Codabar/NW7,  Code 39, MSI/PLESSEY, Code 32, China Postage. Saya sudah coba di 
beberapa barang yang barcodenya tidak lurus yang
terdapat pada: botol Aqua 330ml, Snowman Marker,  Baygon 600ml. Bila Bapak 
ataupun rekan ITers lainnya mempunyai barcode yang gagal dibaca oleh scanner 
lainnya dan ingin mencoba barcode scanner kami, dengan senang hati kami akan 
mendemokannya. Mohon maap, untuk sementara ini hanya melayani Jabotabek.

tda100 ada software bawaan dan tinggal register ke telkom fitur lacak
(caller I'd) nanti di log nya akan ketahuan telpon dari nomor berapa
dan masuk line yg ke berapam

Terus terang kalau tdk langganan fitur lacak di telkom dengan software
apapun tdk akan ketahuan nomornya. Ada keluar keterangan [Incoming]
saja di logfile nya

minta sharing knowlegdenya nich. kebetulan di kantor saya setiap komputer
masuk dalam domain server dan setiap user di kasih beberapa file sharing
dari server tersebut, dan kebetulan ada masalah ketika salah satu user
men-Delete file dan file tersebut ngga tahunya masih berfungsi. file
delete-tan tersebut tidak masuk ke "recycle bin" di komputer user tersebut
maupun di server. yang menjadi pertanyaan saya :

1. kenapa file yang terdelete tersebut tidak masuk ke "Recycle Bin" di
komputer user maupun di server, dan bagaimana untuk dilakukan restore file
tersebut.

2. untuk di lakukan recovery file atas kasus di atas, sebaiknya di lakukan
di komputer user (client ) atau di server.

Mohon bantuannya, untuk kasus tersebut.

Qualifikasi masing-masing dibidangnya.
Masalah Gaji jangan diistilahkan seperti itu. Bisa jadi di suatu 
perusahaan gaji IT support lebih tinggi daripada
Programer.

Saya baru bergabung dimilis ini, saya mau belajar banyak kepada rekan2 semua, 
semoga bisa membantu. Rekan ITers, saya mau tanya, saya mempunyai database yang 
saya buat dengan menggunakan Access (Office 2000), tetapi komputer saya 
sekarang menggunakan Office 2003, pada saat database saya akses dengan 
menggunakan script ASP, terjadi error seperti di bawah ini :

Error Type:
Microsoft JET Database Engine (0x80004005)
Operation must use an updateable query.
/TEST/in_art. asp, line 223

Saya coba update, tapi vasilitas di 2003 tidak ada, yang ada hanya tombol

Awal2 promo IM2 broom unlimited kenceng abis,aku nonton preview movie di yahoo 
dari awal ampe abis lancar2 aja,tapi blakangan mesti nunggu loading beberapa 
menit dulu 
Mungkin karna traffic nya lagi rame juga kali yah,lagian murah banget byk yg

Waktu awal-awal promo IM2 broom, saya merasakan nikmatnya kelancaran memakai yg

kejadian yang sama saya alami bro, saya juga ambil im2 unlimited, bulan
pertama seneng banget tuh dengan 100rb bisa surf kenceng selama sebulan, pas
masuk bulan kedua ampun dah..., dah lambat..., susah konek...sering diskonek
sendiri pula di tengah jalan...malah kalah kenceng sama smart punya
temen yang gratis 6 bulan pertamamaklum masih baru n promo.kesananya
saya yakin gak bakal jauh beda..

IM2 Broom Unlimited sepertinya sudah sangat lambat, saya coba memakai Telkomsel 
Flash Unlimited sangat memuaskan, tetapi kl mau hanya pakai 2 minggu, and hanya 
buat cek email and send email bisa sih pakai IM2 Broom Unlimited. dibanding tdk 
ada koneksi inet.

Halo rekan2, mngkin ada yg punya tips / saran u/ mslh mail server sbb:
Sy mnggunakan mail server di kantor dgn ISP Telkom Professional 3Gb - IP 
Dynamic.
Problemnya IP setiap hari berubah dan otomatis tdk bsa krm mail krn terblock di 
Spamhaus, jd sy perlu request u/ unblock IP tsb di www.spamhaus.org/pbl baru 
bsa krm mail kembali.
Sy sdh baca bbrp petunjuk dr spamhaus tsb spt SMTP Auth, IP Dynamic, dsb. 
Mngkinkah ada Spam yg bersarang di mail server kntor, saat ini menggunakan 
Norton yg selalu terupdate... 
Apakah solusi nya dgn mnggunakan IP Static - Paket Speedy Office / ada setting 
cara lain ya? krn klo ambil paket Office akan mubazir (rata2 perbulan tdk smpe 
1 Gb).
Apakah setiap ISP termasuk Telkom terhubung / terdaftar di spamhaus.org dsb u/

[ITCENTER] Komputer ngeblank

[fauzri_nizam]

Dear ITers...

Aku punya masalah neh, ada komputer di kantorku yang buat puyeng dari
kemaren. Dinyalakan bisa tapi input ke monitor off. RAM dah coba
ditukar2, Clear BIOS udah, bersihin fan Processor dan cabut pasang
processor udah. Update bios juga udah, tapi teteup ga bisa on.

Apa perlu ganti m'board ya ?
Type komputernya IBM 8434-52A.

Kalo ada yang punya tips tolong kirimin ya.

Jadi mmg semua operator dgn semua janji sebenarnya mirip saja ya akhirnya 
layanan internetnya. 
Konsumen hanya jadi korban percobaan produk. Ga jauh beda dgn layanan voice 
dari operator baik utk GSM dan CDMA yg perang harga dgn perhitungan rumit. 
Layanan data juga begitu. Setiap operator punya produk baru hanya bertahan 1 
s/2 bln saja keunggulan yg diberikan. Setelahnya mulai muncul berbagai masalah 
spt susah koneksi, putus tiba-tiba, lambat, jenis sinyal gonta ganti trus, 
pokoknya ga stabil lah.

Jadi mmg binun memilih mana yg baik utk jangka waktu yg lama. Selain Axis yg 
sdh saya coba sblm pake IM2 broom saya pake XL mega data jg nasibnya ga jauh 
beda, bagus di awal saja.

Dan utk yg terbaru dari telkomsel paket unlimited ( lewat 3GB akan melambat) 
utk saingin IM2 broom ga tau bisa trus stabil atau tdk. Atau spt yang udah² 
cuma sebulan doang lancarnya. Mgkn saja.

Utk prepaid 2 mgg pemakaian mending cari yg lagi masih promo spt smart itu tadi.

Saya memakai Clarkconnect Com. Edition 4.3 sebagai router, untuk mengatasi 
pemborosan bandwith, saya memblock download sampai dengan 20 Mb/ client.
Masalahnya adalah di situ gak ada option (atau saya yg gak tahu) untuk 
'exception'-nya..
Maksudnya, saya pengin ada bbrpa ip address yg gak mengikutin rule tersebut 
(download unlimited) seperti di 'unrestricted ip addresses'-nya ipcop...

Ada yg tahu solusinya?

Dear all,..


Mau tanya nih mungkin ada yang pakai n bisa kasih masukan.
Di Kantor saya pasang CCTV dengan IP Kamera yang terintegrasi ke PC Server 
dengan OS Centos.
Aplikasi yang saya pakai Zoneminder.

Untuk Mode Monitor tidak ada masalah, artinya saya bisa memonitor CCTV dari 
Komputer saya.
Untuk Mode Record juga tidak ada masalah.
Untuk Mode Detect Record, yaitu kalau ada gerakan juga berfungsi dengan baik.

Yang saya masih belum ngerti bagaimana caranya atur waktunya.
Contoh saya mau Fungsi Mode Detect Record jalan otomatis dari jam 20.00 - 06.00
Saya cari-cari fungsinya kok belum ketemu juga, apa memang tidak ada.

Wpy:
Coba anda bongkar casingnya  dan perhatikan baterai BIOS-nya, 
apakah terpasang dengan benar atau ada yg kendor. Terkadang 
ada beberapa tipe dan merk mainboard jika baterai BIOS kendor 
maka sewaktu dinyalain tdk ada output di monitor, padahal setelah 
diperhatikan fan prosesor nyala dan power supply komp nyala juga.
