well i have not until now but i do wish to hear a reason to continue to protect trent better than this concept of felling that you are the light at the end of his tunnel. when someone ridiculously fabricated that i am a thief. nearly all of you jumped to support this insanity and yet you seek to protect a real thief who has stolen from many of you from being publicly exposed. why? andrew suggests it odd that so many don't know about trent but it's not odd at all as his victims who covered for him for months while he stole now continue to cover for him. there is something fairly disingenuous in saying no one should tell me the reason why i shouldn't publicize who trent is because i won't listen and seems to just be covering for you have no real reason at all. why not expose trent for what he has done and then let people decide for themselves if this is someone they wish to give money to or not? The people hit worst by this last recession are those who had planned poorly. If you were a marginal worker you got the axe pretty quickly and were unable to get work again. This recession was very different than the Great Depression in that a lot of people wouldn't travel and wouldn't take jobs they saw as beneath them. When I lost my job in 2002 I swept up at the local snowmobile shop until I got another full time job. I worked the entire time I was unemployed unless I wanted a day off to snowmobile. I see so many help wanted jobs and ads it amazes me that anybody is unemployed. At least here in MA where the unemployment rate never got all that high. yes, all agitated. i have unresolved issues, some of which include trent. it's not about people here dealing with trent as even the group madness has given up on that idea, but about all the other people who are not here. i can't say i'm not jealous of the support he has received here and the support i have not but that's not the crux of the issue. he really got me crazy when he said that thing about how he doesn't understand why anyone is upset at him as the credit card paid them back. there are just some things you can say that will endear me to you and some that will not and this really falls into the latter. This thread can't be closed until I put in my 5 cents plus tax worth of dribble:) Anyway my advice to Dr Fatty is to make sure if you are going to put out a warning to your customers about the activities of a competitor, is to make sure you have the evidence to back up your allegations. Has Trent actually done things of an illegal nature to you directly or are you referring to things done to others? Best off to play it safe and put out a mass mail along the lines of do you trust your parts vendor, do you know the history of the person you are sending dollars to, are you getting the best parts for the best price then you can go on about your track record and also state that if people want to find out more, to contact you. You can sign it: Gary Hurst, your honest, experienced and reliable parts supplier. I was thinking you could also say 'friendly' but that would be stretching it a little:) Basically you are reminding your customers to think about who they are dealing with, without actually accusing anyone directly. If they care enough they will ask for more information and I think you pointing the finger at Trent directly, sort of stinks of malice and may put customers off. If there has been illegal things done, why aren't the cops or lawyers involved? Is what a lot of people will be thinking.
