`Lasu' Releases SAG 0.3 -- Freeware Book Takes Paves For New World Order
by staff writers ... The central Superhighway site called
``sunsite.unc.edu'' collapsed in the morning before the release. News
about the release had been leaked by a German hacker group, Harmonious
Hardware Hackers, who had cracked into the author's computer earlier in
the week. They had got the release date wrong by one day, and caused
dozens of eager fans to connect to the sunsite computer at the wrong
time. ``No computer can handle that kind of stress,'' explained the
mourning sunsite manager, Erik Troan. ``The spinning disks made the
whole computer jump, and finally it crashed through the floor to the
basement.'' Luckily, repairs were swift and the computer was working
again the same evening. ``Thank God we were able to buy enough needles
and thread and patch it together without major problems.'' The site has
also installed a new throttle on the network pipe, allowing at most four
clients at the same time, thus making a new crash less likely. ``The
book is now in our Incoming folder'', says Troan, ``and you're all
welcome to come and get it.'' -- Lars Wirzenius

Nah - I wouldn't waste the bux. I'm actually looking at getting a
Vauxhall or something pre-1969 / post-1955 for a biz car; seen a few old
Holden utes that are cool - classics - ditto with a few Ferds - and even
an old Dodge ute (nice paintjob) - all for under $10k; if I had the
cashola for a new vehicle - I'd not mind one of the new Honda SUV-type

Would be great, through - driving 'round town in an old classic with

You're a very sick man, Frankie.

I've started selling In Home Self Lobotomy Kits - want me to send ya
one? God knows Holden/Chevy is a Real Blokes vehicle...

FRANKI:

Stephen, if you really think that, then apparently you have already used
one of your own lobotomy kits..

I have owned about 30 cars in my time, both holden and ford (and many
others)... and I must say that overall, I prefer the fords..

FRANKI:

here here!!!

ford fell off the ball for a few years here in AU, when they stopped all V8
production in 87 (emission laws and fuel prices were the reason)
and they have been playing catch up to holden/GM ever since..

but the new BA falcon beats the new GMH commodore in nearly every respect.
and won car of the year over here..

the howling of the GMH fans could be heard for miles around... :-)

music to my ears. :-)

I would rather buy a Chevrolet then get a ford for fee HeHe
Greg

FRANKI:

Well, that just goes to show that there really is no accounting for taste..

you probably use emacs as well.. :-)

U don't hear about GM changing to linux do you???

They are not progressive enough to do it, only after waiting to see how
much better off Ford is for doing it..
