bump :)

Same on SBS 7.5, Playlist = station is not working.

Also on 7.5 I'm getting an occasional MIS_REMOTE_ error on Boom SB3
for artist song. But it's infrequent and I can't seem to nail down a
cause.

The issue here most likely is the composer attribute. Would it work
without it?

Kind of. I removed the composer field, and that enabled 'currtime' and
'X_Y' fields to show correct values when streaming.

Where the 'artist' field is, just says 'Now Playing'.

The problem is that when playing streams via the iPlayer the screen

2009-07-14 Thread toby10

Hiya Michael.

I'm running your MIS 4.4.2 included in SC7.4 build July 13th, WinXP,
Boom SB3

MIS is running and all configured, selected fields function as
expected, except Playlist is selected for upper left field, but that
field will only display the Now Playing text.

I've double checked every menu setting for MIS, screensavers, and
display as they are configured on my SC7.3.3 (which properly displays
the correct Playlist) but I cannot get it to properly display the
Playlist in SC7.4 on either Boom or SB3?

Any ideas? I likely have missed a setting somewhere. :(

Thanks for your help (again) and your incredible MIS plug-in!

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] MusicInfoSCR and SC 7.4 (v24896)

2009-05-21 Thread Michael Herger
While checking logs for other issues I notice these errors reported
 every few seconds:
 [09-05-21 19:03:35.1886] Slim::Utils::Misc::msg (1154) Warning:
[19:03:35.1882] Use of uninitialized value $scrollPixels in division (/)
 at Plugins/TitleSwitcher/Plugin.pm line 149.

Do you see the same issue without TitleSwitcher involved? If so, without
MIS, but Now Playing configured as similarly as possible?

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] MusicInfoSCR and SC 7.4 (v24896)

2009-02-19 Thread ligald

Hi,

Thanks for your advices. Here's the point:

I think what you're seeing is simply a misconfigured screensaver.
This
might be due to bad defaults the plugin is using. I'll have to check
this.
Please go to the MIS settings and re-configure that large line to
display
Nothing. It should clean up the screen.

It changes nothing. I cleared the one line configuration box but the
title remains in plain letters and still overlaps the upper infos. The
problem seems to occur when you activated the option of Customize
playlist display: it seems that default parameters are wrong and use
systematically plain text size instead of the SC default one

In custom font mode you can define any of left/right/center and
top/middle/bottom items in various fonts. MIS seems to default to
using
something on the middle line in large font which overlaps everything
else.
This makes for the messy layout, but should go away once you configure
MIS
not to use the middle line.

This seems to work now. For both Screensaver and Customize playlist
display I do NOT use the default font size setting and specify all
size myself and it is fine, except when the central field is configured
in plain text. The symbol LECTURE still remains in the upper left
corner and overlaps with the info (as shown in the photo). Is there
any way to remove this label when the field is set empty? By the way,
this label disappears if the field is not empty.

Thanks for your help. We're getting close...

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] MusicInfoSCR and SC 7.4 (v24896)

2009-02-18 Thread ligald

Hi,

My configuration is the following:

PC with XP Pro SP3 running SC 7.3.2 in French, MusicInfo 4.3.7 -
Transporter wired.

I tried to reproduce the bug with the following steps:

1)The screensaver is in default mode (Basic settings menu of SC)

2)The font size is set to standard (Display menu of SC)

3)The plugin is reseted (checkbox at the bottom of the plugin page)

4)The screensaver is set to MusicInfo mode (Basic settings menu of SC)

This configuration leads to the display problems showed in the photos
attached. The bottom information is displayed in large font size and
overlaps with the upper one. There is no way to fix it or to change the
font size, event by pressing Now playing button. The resetting function
of the plugin is useless.

Then I tried to use a different font size by disabling Use SC font
size in the plugin menu. This leads to the worst situation where even
the display of the plugin configuration page mixes the informations.

I tried to be as precise as possible in my description

If you have any idea...

Thank you

2009-02-17 Thread ligald

Hi,

I encountered the same type of problem with the same information beeing
displayed twice at the same place with two different font size. Once I
get this problem, it is impossible to reset the settings and to come
back without rebooting the PC and the Transporter.

Otherwise, I have my transporter menus displayed in standard text mode
and I'm trying to configure MIS 4.3.7 in order to get the screensaver
main screen displaying the infos in large fonts. For this, I disable
Use squeezecenter font settings and configure the large font display.
This works fine, however the information Lecture (transporter
configured in French) remains in the left upper corner and is
superposed with the info displayed. Is there any way to remove this
label in order to obtain the same appearance than with the default
screensaver set with large font?

Thanks you

Sorry, I used to own a Transporter (sold it again), but I cannot

As setting the screensaver time to a very high value prevents this from

the SB3 show my MusicInfoSCR Screen full brightness, and after 30sec
the same custom screen appeared, but in lower brightness. That's when
things went wrong.

This appeared first when installing the v24896 nightly build of 7.4 and
never before. (I've been using your Plugin for a very long time,

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] MusicInfoSCR and SC 7.4 (v24896)

2009-02-06 Thread Michael Herger
It seems ok when not in screensave mode.

MIS is a screensver, it's not used otherwise. I'm not sure what you mean.

As soon as it goes into screensave mode it starts failing to correctly
refresh I guess. Titles will appear three times on the display next to
each other, and soon later, scrolling kicks in resulting in a complete
mess as the titles are writting on top of each other until nothing can
be read anymore. (which is the case very quickly).

Could you please provide a screenshot or something? You mean all pixels go on,
until the whole screen is green?

 Initial fix?
I just set the time for the screensaver to kick in to 9 seconds.

You could disable it as well. Did you previously see this issue already? If
not, when did it change?

[SlimDevices: Plugins] MusicInfoSCR and SC 7.4 (v24896)

Hi Guys, Hi Michael.
Just noticed that with SC 7.4 the MusicInfoScreen Plugin develops an
issue:

It seems ok when not in screensave mode.

refresh I guess. Titles will appear three times on the display next to
each other, and soon later, scrolling kicks in resulting in a complete

(A random choice).
As long as it doesn't kick in, all is well.
