[RBW] WTB: rivendell for 77pbh (complete or frame)

2019-03-14 Thread Beibhinn Dooling
Hello,

I have been lurking this forum for a while and am interested in seeing if
there is anyone out there thinking of selling their Rivendell. My pbh is 77
and I would be looking for an Atlantis, Clem L, Cheviot or Sam Hillborne. I
am currently riding a 60cm Cheviot that I scored for a sweet deal. The
seatpost is slammed with a 70cm stem/billie bars and while it works, it
feels so large that I don't have great control at low speeds or in tricky
off-road situations. It is also in the orange color scheme which I do not
love as much as Rivendell's other offerings. I am hoping to find a complete
that I can purchase and then sell my 60cm as a complete shortly afterwards.
Direct from riv would be ideal but as student currently in nursing school,
its just not feasible for me right now.

If anyone reading this has something they would be interested in passing on
to someone that will cherish it daily, don't hesitate to reach out
privately with details and a price in mind.

Thanks all,
Beibhinn Dooling

[RBW] Two Bicycle Belles in NV—2nd Annual Visit

2019-03-14 Thread 'Abcyclehank' via RBW Owners Bunch
So happy you Rivendell loving ladies connected. More of this needs to happen.
Interesting how something like a parallel bike appreciation reveals enormous
overlapping values and interests.
Just as you each are blessed and lucky to have a Riv, we are blessed to have
you both on this list.

Sincerely,

[RBW] WTB: Nitto Mark's Hub Area Rack with Hoop (MF2)

2019-03-14 Thread dharmabum
Hi all.

I’m looking for Mark’s Hub Area Rack with the hoop.

https://www.rivbike.com/collections/racks/products/nitto-marks-hub-area-rack-with-hoop-mf2-20236

I've installed but have yet to test the version without hoop. It's the most
elegant production low rider I've laid eyes on but with only two attachment
points it seems limited to carrying only the lightest of loads. If anyone
has experience to share I'd be glad to read it.

With thanks,

Lee in Seattle

[RBW] Two Bicycle Belles in NV—2nd Annual Visit

2019-03-14 Thread Bicycle Belle Ding Ding!
Oh my word, did we have fun. Do you know how refreshing it is to have coffee
with someone who knows and loves Rivendell? I feel like it’s just me out here
in NV, so you might imagine how I look forward to Roberta’s visits. Two Bicycle
Belles (who were dingalings for not taking nearly enough photos by which to
remember our day) chatted all the way through lunch! We could have gone through
dinner had I not needed to rush to school and pick up my sons.

I loved hearing about how Roberta’s Joe rides in comparison to my Clem and
Betty. We discussed our wish lists and future bikes and upcoming bikes events.
You really can’t know how much a kinship over a shared love means unless you’ve
had one - and I finally do! I did wish I had better terrain; I kept making
apologies for the hills and lack of great bike destinations. Next time we
should road trip to RBW HQ, Roberta.

The coffee was good and the company sublime! Thank you for a fantastic visit. 

[RBW] Re: Coffee grinders -- I **know** that this is NOT off topic!

2019-03-14 Thread Ray Varella
I use a vintage hand crank Zassenhaus.
I’ve used it daily for close to 15 years and it was probably 30 years old when
I bought it.

For comparison I also have an Olympia burr grinder which is a scaled down
commercial quality grinder.

I can give a dozen reasons to choose a manual grinder.

If you drink a lot of espresso it might be worth having a nice electric grinder
and if you have issues using both hands to stabilize and grind with a manual
grinder, you may also benefit from an electric grinder.

I’ll avoid the whole freezing beans issue.
I own a commercial coffee roaster and I’m wyyy into the “only drink freshly
roasted coffee”

2019-03-14 Thread 'Deacon Patrick' via RBW Owners Bunch
Interesting. How do you shake the roaster and hold the thermometer secure? I’ve
been surprised how consistant I get it just by sight (color,
dull/velvety/oily), sound (crack), smell, smoke volume, even feel of the shake.
Grin. Roasting by feel, kinda like riding by feel (instead of using a computer
to track mileage, speed, et al). This changes subtly as humidity, temperature,
and different batches of beans change, so there is a bit of a range that adds
adventure. Grin.

Re: [RBW] Re: What’s your winter (re)build?

2019-03-14 Thread Patrick Moore
Just minor improvements, both involving handlbars:

1. Swapped out the sold-to-me-as-42s VO Course bar -- very nice but felt a
bit wide, especially in the hooks -- for an appealingly priced
Compass/Herse Maes Parallel, also sold-to-me-as-a-42 but 2 cm narrower at
the outside center of the bends; this for the dirt road Matthews. I must
say that while the ramps initially felt a wee bit narrow, the hoods felt
perfect, and the hooks felt much better than those of the VO. *And* I
probably saved a few grams, doubtless the reason why I'm now so much faster.

2. Today, even! Swapped out the original edition Moustache bar on the Dahon
Hon Solo, where it failed to allow a very comfortable position with Joe
Bernard's ex-2" bar extender, for a Sury Open bar, which is like a very
wide (66 cm) North Road bar, only with no rise/drop and in steel and in
black. The Open has considerably less reach than the Moustache, so when I
positioned the extender level with Terra Firma, and installed the Open also
level with Terra Firma, the reach was considerably less than that of the M
bar in the same position and, of course, the Open is higher because no
drop.

Only, 66 cm is to damned wide, so I cut of a modest 8 cm from each end.
Perfection!

Initially I had tilted the (trimmed) ends of the Open slightly downward;
hurt my hands during the inaugural ride. I stopped twice to reduce the
tilt, ending up with the open very, very slightly tilted *down* in front --
ie, ends of the bar very slightly pointed up. Wonderful! Weird, I know, but
still, wonderful -- best bar I've used apart from drop bars. Highly
recommended.

Oh, 1 more. Swapped out the 60 mm PB Cascadias on the Matthews (60.5 mm Big
Ones), where they crowded as close a1-2 mm to the side of the tire, with
Kiley's 60 mm SKS's -- these have a shallower arc and are not squared off.
Much better!

Re: [RBW] Snowshoe LCG!

2019-03-14 Thread 'Deacon Patrick' via RBW Owners Bunch
Patrick, the beautiful thing about snow is it adventure per inch increases
exponentially by how wet and deep the snow is. This stuff was a ratio of 1:10,
so every mile took the effort of ten on a clear summer day. This is a highly
honed and scientific ratio. Wink. Grin. For comparison, were it powder of half
this depth, 1:2 ratio. Actual miles of LCG I’d estimate as 3, miles on plowed
road with 1-2” of snowblow, 5. So by the time I was home, the ride felt like a
40 mile ride at high effort, cause in this stuff even I’m a mouth breather.
Sardonic grin. As to the cultural difference, you are correct. Urban lowlands
to country(ish) mountains. Much as I get frustrated by New Colorado’s invasion
into what remains of Old Colorado territory, Old Colorado still has a strong
presence.

Andy, I thought of the cyclist pair that crossed the Panama canal jungle (can’t
remember the details, may have that much wrong), and to make progress in the
mangroved they chopped they way for a while, then went back and carried their
bikes. There were sections it was deep drifts I debated this approach of
leaving the bike, packing the snow so I had a track snowshoed twice before I
took the bike on it. Instead, I lifted the front wheel and dragged the rear
only, making it much easier to move becase I was pulling the rear tire rather
than pushing the front tire deeped into the snow. You can also see the regular
pedal divot from it being fixed gear, photo left of the bike tire track.

Analog “(w)right” stem? No reach or 30mm reach. 26.0 or 31.8 clamp. I
actually have a zero reach 26.0 and original version of the Crust towel

More data to process! (Weird machine metaphor, that!) I've been drinking
coffee since circa 1968*, but apparently there is a rabbit hole analogous
to that which appears to someone who has for years ridden his Electra
Townie when faced with the esoterica of planing, long chainstays, and super
supple tires. Not only a rabbit hole, apparently, but a money pit too.
Heck, I've been buying Costco's 3 lb bag of San Francisco French Roast for
$14.99 for years.

But thanks. It makes interesting reading. I may even act on some of it!

* This may explain my serious naïveté about coffee. 50 years ago we lived
outside of Nairobi in an area where everything was surrounded by
I-kid-you-not square miles of coffee plantations, unless it was virgin
forest. We'd sit down each morning to a full service family breakfast and
drink --- Taster's Choice freeze dried and Coffee Mate imported from the US
of A. And this in an area where not only the coffee but the dairy was grade
A+.

Wonderful. I wish we'd gotten some of your snow -- and you keep the wind;
but all we got 400 miles south was wind and rain.

How far did you go? Of that total, how many miles riding and how many miles
plugging away on foot?

Interesting that the self reliance cultures should be so different in
adjacent counties. I've visited both areas, but am not intimately familiar
with either. Am I right in judging that the difference is essentially that
between urban/suburban and rural cultures, with mountainous terrain
exacerbating the issue?

[RBW] Coffee grinders -- I **know** that this is NOT off topic!

2019-03-14 Thread Coal Bee Rye Anne
I use a Hario hand crank burr grinder with chemex for pour over... well, I
‘did’ use the hand crank for a couple years until our son was born and started
losing that extra time in the mornings and have since been cheating with
pre-ground beans for the most part. I enjoyed the process and routine and
would grind daily but it does take a few minutes of steady cranking. Never
tried a super fine ground and adjusted it somewhere in the middle. Over time
the locknut begins to loosen regularly on the crank and I was planning to use a
nylock replacement nut but haven’t gotten around to it, so on the occasion we
go whole bean I just need to tighten the crank a few times each session. It
was also fun to have our son help fill and grind the beans some mornings but he
prefers to open and dump the beans on the floor or crank in reverse, haha, so
I’d have to give him a decoy bowl of beans to play with to actually finish the
job. The size is great for one small pot each morning (larger/rounder hario
not the small slim one, which I hadn’t tried.) My wife and each just have one
mug each in the morning.

[RBW] Re: Coffee grinders -- I **know** that this is NOT off topic!

2019-03-14 Thread Ron Mc
I've been through $50 Cuisinart burr grinders every 3 years for the past
9.
This time I upgraded to a Capresso 565, which grinds Slow.
The product comes in perfect uniform grains, no matter how tiny, and zero
dust.
Even grind size eliminates bitterness, and best part is the uniform coarser
grind I can get is perfect for coffee-press brew.

2019-03-14 Thread 'Deacon Patrick' via RBW Owners Bunch
+1, with the qualification that if you want to test if hand grinding is
something you prefer, $25 entry fee is ten times less than the Lido 2. However,
the grind and the grinding experience of the Lido is Rivendellian while the
Hario or Porlex are Public or similar. Why grind instead of blade? Consistancy
brews better, so all your gounds osmosize equally, neither under or over
brewing. This gives easily noticable improvement to the flavor.

Phil said: “I highly recommend staying away from any ceramic burr grinders like
the Hario or Porlex. I've had both and they don't compare to more high end
manual grinders.”

2019-03-14 Thread 'Deacon Patrick' via RBW Owners Bunch
In case anyone is daft enough to want to try roasting your own, I recommend the
free way to test if you want to do it more than five times (well, free except
for buying green beans): a cast iron skillet or dutch oven (high walls make for
a bit more even roasting) on medium flame/heat, stir constantly, remove some
point after first crack stops and the beans burn. Easy to scorch the beans this
way though, so once you know you want to roast regularly...

We love roasting in our Zen Roast. https://www.zenroast.co. I can roast 3/4 cup
(I know, I’m supposed to weigh the beans. Bah.) green beans to a dark medium
roast very evenly on medium flame in 12-15 minutes, which yields one cup
roasted coffee. I age it 24 hours to 7 days, with the sweet spot we prefer at
around 3 days, but that’s a pretty subtle difference when using great beans and
roaster.

You can buy certified refurbished grinders direct from Baratza
.

I own a B-stock Virtuoso which sees about two pounds of coffee go through
it every week. I make coffee about three different ways depending on my
mood, and once you dial in the appropriate grinds in it's perfect.

It's been serviced by Baratza once in five years (I mucked up a seal while
giving it a long-overdue cleaning), which set me back $64.50 including
return shipping. With care it will outgrind us all.

I have the Bodum burr grinder because I found it on sale. It's not the
best, but it works. A couple drops of water on the beans before
grinding will cut the static. I have a cheap ceramic burr hand grinder
for when I travel.
Agreed with all here - buy fresh roasted (or roast yourself) and keep
it in its bag. Brew immediately after grinding. Don't freeze - there
is no benefit at all.
I cold brew my coffee using a large mason jar and an inexpensive metal
mesh filter. When I want to brew hot, which is rare these days, I use
an Aeropress.
My wife drinks tea, and one of those electric kettles has been
wonderful - she can get her precise temp for brewing green tea, and I
can get mine for the Aeropress.

[RBW] FS: Barcons, Thomson, Tubus Tara

2019-03-14 Thread Michael Ullmer
Cross-post from the i-BOB list:

After Sunday's amazing Seattle bike swap, and the subsequent swapping of
new parts for old the following morning, I've a few more parts to move
along:

1) Thomson Elite Stem - 120mm - 26.0 Clamp - -10 degree - $30 shipped CONUS
--In great shape, just too long for my needs. I was using this one with a
VO Course bar which I've since switched to a Grand Bois Maes Parallel

2) Suntor Barcons - $30 shipped CONUS
--These use a new screw, washer, nylon nut combo that I rigged up after a
trip to the hardware store. Holds just fine and only requires tightening on
one side. I also like the brass look. I've a couple other sets of Suntour
barcons with these same screws/nuts on them and they work great.

3) Tubus Tara Front Rack - $75 shipped CONUS
--This is a holdover from when I was running a Raleigh Competition 650b
conversion. Subsequent bikes that replaced that one have had custom racks
built in to them, and so this one has just been sitting. In great shape.

PM off-list, thanks!

[RBW] Why do Riv mixtes have 70 Degree HT angles?

2019-03-14 Thread Jeremy Till
I've also noticed that myself and have wondered about it. I'm not sure of GP's
original design intention but my guess is that the consistency comes from the
fact that the Rivendell mixtes are the only lugged mixtes in production, and
thus their lugs are the only ones available. The upper head lug, which would be
mixte-specific, probably is only made in one set of angles, so increasing the
HTA would correspondingly reduce standover height. This also probably explains
why on smaller sizes the middle set of stays don't form a straight line with
the top tube. The cost to try a new set of angles or have size-specific
geometry would thus be high (new lug molds) and probably leads to a "if it
ain't broke, don't fix it" approach, at least with these models. You don't hear
a lot of customers complaining about the handling of their cheviots.

Do the lugless Riv step throughs (Clem L and the various Rosco mixtes) have
different head angles?

Hey Folks,

Just noticed a Riv All Rounder for sale on the Pros Closet today. Size 57.
Way too big for me but maybe it'll work for someone here...

[RBW] Re: Coffee grinders -- I **know** that this is NOT off topic!

2019-03-14 Thread phil k
Also to answer your other topics of interest.

Storing:

I use amber mason jars. Nothing fancy really needed. Most coffee will last
for quite some time. Like Patrick, I also roast small batches and consume
them rather quickly between my wife and I

Brewing:

I really like the Hario V60. It gives a lot of control - small stream, slow
pour will give a mild and rich cup, slight fast pour will give a brighter
and acidic cup. Also allows you to experiment if you want. I usually go
about 1:16 coffee water ratio. Usually 12g per 200g of water in. I've been
digging the 4:6 method a lot lately. You can google the recipe.

Kalita Waves are also nice too. Very forgiving. I really like using it, if
I don't have the time to pay attention to my pourover.

I would also suggest for pourovers to go medium to medium coarse grinds.

[RBW] Re: Coffee grinders -- I **know** that this is NOT off topic!

2019-03-14 Thread phil k
Hi Patrick,

If you're going to grind a lot of beans, then an Encore Baratza is your
best bet. You can buy refurbished ones from their website just under $100.

I highly recommend staying away from any ceramic burr grinders like the
Hario or Porlex. I've had both and they don't compare to more high end
manual grinders.

I have a Kinu M47. There is no equal manual hand-held grinder I've tried.
It outclasses my Lido 3 and Aergrind. Easier grind adjustment, feels more
sturdy, easy to take apart and clean, awesome grind catch cup. It's my only
used grinder for the past few months. I make espresso, aeropress, to
pourover, and it handles well if not better than my electric Encore Sette
(which I've had to get parts replaced a couple of times). It's got a 47mm
burr which is bigger than Lidos, Commandantes, etc. I can grind 15g of
beans in probably 10-15 secs depending on the roast. It took about 20 secs
to grind the same amount on my Capresso electric grinder. Also took around
30-35secs on my Hario and Porlex.

Kinu sells a cheaper and smaller Kinu M47 Traveler. It's a little over $100
cheaper than its bigger brother, but keeps the same burr size at 47mm.

The Aergrind is a good manual grinder that is portable. Smaller burrs than
the Kinu, but it's also cheaper. I got mine for 80 pounds direct from
Knock's website. The quality is not as high as the Kinu, but it's cheaper.
I prefer it over my Lido because the grind adjustment is much easier.

Hope that helps

Phil

Don’t freeze your beans. Buy them regularly, and keep them in the cupboard in
the roll top bag they came in.

[RBW] Why do Riv mixtes have 70 Degree HT angles?

2019-03-14 Thread Rocky B
Hello all. I noticed that all the Riv mixtes from the current Cheviots all the
way to the original Glorious/Wilbury models all have 70-degree HT angles no
matter the size...all other Rivs models are usually 71-72.5 degrees. Just
curious on why so?

Re: [RBW] Repair and Wet Paint Services on West Coast?

2019-03-14 Thread Kieran J
Totally. Noah/Suzanne repainted my wife's city bike with one of their "one
colour special" deals, which doesn't include any deluxe finishing steps or
repairs, for CAD$325. THAT is a good deal but best suited to a new frame or
one that can just be stripped and sprayed. The paint was indeed lovely,
smooth as glass (it's a little worse for wear now though).

Re: [RBW] Re: Coffee grinders -- I **know** that this is NOT off topic!

2019-03-14 Thread 'Deacon Patrick' via RBW Owners Bunch
We love our Lido 2. It is easily set to grind everything from a course grind to
espresso and everything between. Engineered and built to last a lifetime.
http://www.oehandgrinders.com/OE-LIDO-2-Manual-Coffee-Grinder_p_14.html

I can’t speak to how to store coffee as I roast our and we brew it within the
week. So my advice is use fresh roasted coffee (buying it from a local roaster
or self-roasting). There is an amazing difference between the fresheness and
richness because the oils et al are still present. I highly recommend using
fresh roasted beans for the best coffee.

We get our organic green beans from Dean’s Beans and are partial to Colombian
and Guatamalan.

With abandon,

Re: [RBW] Re: Coffee grinders -- I **know** that this is NOT off topic!

2019-03-14 Thread Sean B.
I keep a hand crank on hand for emergencies. This is the one I use:
https://www.amazon.com/JavaPresse-Grinder-Conical-Brushed-Stainless/dp/B013R3Q7B2/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_79_bs_t_1?_encoding=UTF8=1=8CRZM5VX6DXTT22K7ZB3

They're mostly ceramic, so not as sturdy as steel. It will take about 5
mins to grind the beans. I only use a Chemex or French Press so it's easier
to achieve the grind needed. Turkish might not be great as even the entry
level steel grinders have problems giving fine espresso/turkish grinds.

Thanks, Sean. That looks inviting, but it's quite a bit larger than I need
(or that would be easy to store in my small coffee/tea cabinet). Is there a
conical burr grinder that is smaller and suitable for no more than 3 cups
of coffee, which I gather means about 1-2 oz of grounds?

Does anyone have experience with the hand-cranked Hario grinders? How long
does it take, and can you get the grounds Turkish fine?

A burr grinder would probably give me better results with my press, too ...

[RBW] Re: Coffee grinders -- I **know** that this is NOT off topic!

2019-03-14 Thread Sean B.
Conical burr grinders are your friend.

This is the one I use daily:
https://www.amazon.com/Baratza-Encore-Conical-Coffee-Grinder/dp/B007F183LK/ref=zg_bs_14092821_4/140-2207164-7992160?_encoding=UTF8=1=A2DM02FNTSFEYG6CE5R9

Also, I would never suggest buying in bulk or freezing. Buy fresh in small
batches and grind right before brewing.

[RBW] Coffee grinders -- I **know** that this is NOT off topic!

2019-03-14 Thread Patrick Moore
Newby questions. I buy beans in bulk, freeze, and grind at need. I prefer
(convenience, results) a Melita filter, and thus grind very fine -- this
seems (experience) to give best flavor.

Now: I use a blade grinder. After 20 seconds, the resulting very fine meal
seems quite uniform (an I don't notice any degradation in flavor from
heating -- the stuff doesn't get hot, just very mildly warm). BUT: grinding
beans straight from the freezer leaves the meal hard to handle: it' like
staticky fine long hair; it goes everywhere and makes a mess.

So my question comes down to this: I'm perfectly happy with the taste from
a blade grinder and Melita, but I'd like a grinder that doesn't leave a
mess when grinding frozen beans very fine.

Would a burr grinder help in this regard?

I see electric burr grinders for sub $50, and I see Hario crank burr
grinders for the same price. Which are better, and why?

This place says no burr grinder under $100 is any good (I take it Harios
are exceptions to this rule). Is this rule right?

Lastly: Open to general comments about storing, grinding, and brewing
coffee, but I am happy with my routine except for the mess described.

Thanks.

Thanks Eric! DeKerf sounds like a decent option. A local-ish option in CAD$

extensive Riv history. Does Rick also do any repair work (?). Seem like
maybe not. It would be ideal to send it to one place for the whole shootin'

[RBW] Crust Towel Rack Drops on Your Riv? Which stem are you using?

2019-03-14 Thread John Phillips
I'm looking at trying the Crust Towel Rack drops on my Hunqapillar, but
I'm not sure which stem to choose.

The 8cm Dirt Drop stem seems to have about the same reach as the 7cm
Tallux, but I'm suspicious that I'm going to need something a bit closer?
Maybe???

So, I'd like to hear if anyone has found their favorite stem for their
Towel Rack drops. Or maybe what didn't work for you, that might help too.

I'm not planning on using these for single track, more like something in
the "paved road-to-bad fire/logging road" spectrum.

Thanks in advance,

John

Noah's work is gorgeous, but a paint job from anybody like that (Joe Bell,
etc.) IS a small fortune. Check out Allan Wanta:

of experience with complicated, factory replica paint jobs and better than
average pricing. Search "Rivendell Road Repair & Repaint" here on RBW for
more info. You might also look up Ed Litton, he did a tube replacement and
repaint on my bro's vintage Bianchi years ago. Not sure what he is up to
these days...

I've stripped down my very grimy orange Rambouillet for a post-winter

condition really highlighted how tired looking the Ram is. It has collected
many chips and scratches. It also has some light damage in the form of
chain ring marring, and some minor mangling of the seat cluster and a tiny
dent/ripple on the TT where something fell on it prior to my ownership.

Over the years I have meant to have it fixed and repainted. Particularly
when I lived in Toronto and VeloColour was located a 5-min drive from home.
A 2-tone paint with repairs and decal recreation would have run probably
upwards of $1k so I always put it off. Can anyone recommend/suggest an
affordable painter in the PNW/West Coast Canada/USA that could also
roll/Bondo the dent and massage the rest?

The work will no doubt eclipse the value of the frameset but I love this

[RBW] WTB: 51cm Joe Appaloosa, preferably that mustard color

2019-03-14 Thread Doug Van Cleve
Howdy folks.

Anybody have one of these collecting dust, sad and neglected in a corner?
My preference would probably the complete stock build, but I would consider
anything not super fancy (unless of course super fancy is selling for a
similar price to ordinary ;^) I REALLY want to try the Choco-moose bars,
so it would be ideal if it has them. I would also go for frame/fork/bars,
as I probably have all the bits to build up a bike. OTOH, I definitely
don't have any 650B wheels so those would also be good to get.

Thanks, Doug

P.S. I have some possible trades, although I'm not sure shipping frames is
really the way to go (~56cm Mg Pinarello Dogma, NOS M Surly Big Dummy,
possibly others).

[RBW] Re: MIT Atlantis with drops?

2019-03-14 Thread Lynn Haas
It's a 53cm MUSA, so a slightly shorter wheelbase, but mine has been great
with drop bars. I'm not particularly confident on gravel (I have some
vision problems) and this is the best of any bike I've ridden on local
crushed stone trails. It took a bit to get everything dialed in, but that
was mostly due to needing a lot less setback on my seatpost - I had to
switch to a zero-setback.

It looks nice enough that when I took it to the LBS for a tuneup, the
mechanic couldn't find it in the shop because the owner had it out in the
backyard taking glamour shots. He put it on Instagram.

[RBW] Re: FS: Rambouillet - 54cm - $1,300 + shipping CONUS

2019-03-14 Thread Mike K.
Yeah. It just depends on the tire. Gravelking sk 38s are too tight by the width
of the knobs. I imagine certain smoother 38’s could fit. 35’s would fit no
problem. And I’ve put fenders on with my 32 paselas in the past and everything
fit.
