Dear Nicole, Dowsing has nothing to do with being pyschic. Energy is a very normal essential part of our bodies, (the electro magnetic pulses that run our hearts for example). I was taught to use two metal rods made from coat hangers, so we're not talking fancy here. We did several experiments with the rods, including walking through a room trying to feel different emotions (sad, angry, happy) and the rods would always cross if a person followed a person emoting angry thoughts, and would open if the person was thinking loving thoughts. And if a person follows the angry person and sends out loving thoughts, the rods will show that changeI guess it is a way of demonstrating such phrases as the tension was so thick in that room, you could cut it with a knife, and her smile lit up the room I tried this out on some of my skeptical friends, where they held the rods, and they were amazed at how accurate these rods are. People who do feng Shui may use the rods to see if energy is collecting in certain places, and if you take rods into the bathroom, you will almost always find that just as our bodies eliminate physical waste, there is a similar energetic waste that collects there. Of course one of the original uses of dowsing rods was to find water underground. Dowsing is somewhat similar, IMO, to kinesiology, don't know how it works exactly but it does. And if it assists you in identifying areas of weakness in health, and can help you change that to strengths then it may be worth your while to pursue this further. I'm sure if you did a search on the web, you could get more info. Thank you..well, I think you may be right to a certain degree, but this PARTICULAR one seems a little different! ;0/ I mean I don't think that telling me what things are bad for me(supplements) over the phone by pointing, EXACTLY how LONG it will take for me to get well(the one that seemed the most peculiar), or what is wrong with a pet over the phone says she can do JUST by the energies from the rod she had? That doesn't make sense..she seems to have gone a little TOO far into it I think. And as much as I want to get well I don't think I can pursue this if I feel when she is doing more when she says she has a gift;0/. List, An older Hispanic woman (bit of a curandera I think) told me once to use a piece of steel smoothed over the healing cut daily. She had quite a deep cut on her forehead and there was very little scarring when she was finished with thisdon't rub hard but be firm. Why this worked? Nicole, In the energy work called Reiki we use a sort of long-distance technique which can have surprising results. This is the most non-invasive, non-malevolent therapy.I'd be more afraid to be under a surgeon's knife! Recent experiments in quantum mechanics have shown that our ideas of separateness may have to be drastically revised. Photons and other particles can communicate at faster than the speed of light (technically not supposed to be possible). a piece of silver would work better. i have seen dramatic pictures of silver cloth bandages on a forehead trauma. Does anyone have any comment on CS topical use for symptomatic relief of poison oak ? Since it is an irritant rather than a pathogen, I was wondering if it would work. My 11 year old g-daughter got into some a couple of days ago and it is all around both eyes. Thanks.Carolyn

Nicole, If you have a plant and supply it with sunshine, water, good soil, etc.. It will flourish, right? This flourishing plant can be looked upon as the work of god right? Take the same plant and supply sub-optimal water, soil and sunshine and the plant will not flourish, maybe even become diseased, ok? Both plants are a reflection of god, or nature, whatever you want to call it. One thrives and one doesn't. Both are a reflection of divine forces. Same goes for us! You see we are all subject to the laws of the universe, and it is the law of cause and effect that govern the disease process. God's law if you will.
