My doctor didn't say this to me, although I realize that this is not the
sort of thing all doctors would be au fait on. She just said it was this
mystery nerve pain aka fibromyalgia. It used to be known as fibrositis but
now is known blanketly as fibromyalgia. My first doctor, however, *did* say
it was shingles, (herpes) but I didn't believe him as I had no lesions.
My friends doctor told her the same, although he threw in a bit of 'wear and
tear' as the cause also, although it came suddenly, and went just as
suddenly! The wear and tear must have worn off I concluded - LOL! Dee

Yes there are a lot of theories but no definitive research but a diagnosis
of fibromayalgia requires that at least a majority of the fibro points are
extremely tender when pressed.

There are 2 at the base of the skull,2 at the front of the neck, 2 on top of
the shoulders sort of half way out, 2 on the shoulder blades at the front, 2
at the back either side of the spine, 2 at the elbows on the top of te arm,
2 inside the knees, 2 sort of at the top of the gluteus maximus and 2 nearer
the outside of the hips. You really need a reliable chart to identify them.
Many unidentified pains are referred to as myalgia but true fibromyalgia
always involves these points.

excercising, decorating, moving house, extremely active. I had, over a
couple of weeks, more that normal exposure to a spray containing
pyriproxyfen and permethrin. I developed headaches, aches and pains, and
became tired very quickly.

I didn't connect it at the time but put it down to overwork, moving anf
humphing furniture around. August I went on holiday, witin the UK, and
that's when I realised it was more than that. Normally I'm extremely active
on holiday spending days walking round exploring etc. This time, by the time
we got there I was exhausted and the slightest effort left me weak. It was
so frustrating.

I came home, struggled back to work, determined not to give in to it.
However, one day I made it into work, sat down, was the only member of staff
in the building (I worked in a residential unit for the homeless) and when
the phone rang, I literally couldn't get out of the chair to answer it. When
other staff arrived, I had to be helped into a taxi and helped home. And
it's been mostly downhill ever since.

At the beginning, since I was a Silva Method graduate I was determined I
could cure it with that. I also scoured the internet, joined loads of health
groups and tried just about every supplement going as there's always someone
swearing that x, y or z is what you need to cure it. Some have proved of
limited help. D-ribose helps a little and melatonin definitely helps sleep.
Nothing else proved to have any effect and I soon realised that, no longer
working but being on incapacity benefit, I could spend my monthly income 10
times over on supplements alone. I found the constant disappointment of
things not helping also hard to take and that constantly focussing on my
illness was taking over my sanity as well as my life.

Nowadays I'm much choosier, if someone recommends something, I want to know
why, what research has been done, exactly how many people it's helped etc.
and then if it sounds interesting I'll discuss it with the one M.E. group
I've remained in and then decide whether to try it or not. Of course I've
been accused of not wanting to get well by people with no actual knowledge
of M.E. but who are convinced their supplement is the new wonder cure-all.

On a day to day basis I try not to get frustrated with my limitations but to
focus on what I can do. Most of the groups I'm in have to do with art as
it's such a positive force and I truly believe I'm lucky in that I've
avoided the depression many M.E. sufferers develop. I put this down to the
meditation and positive thinking.

Despite what I've written above, I am always open to new ideas and
suggestions as long as people realise that I'll evaluate them but won't and
can't necesarily try them all. I'm also eternally grateful for CS as,
although it doesn't help te M.E., since I started it I've avoided all
antibiotics completely.

It does not boost the immune system. It boosts immunity. That is, it
has no direct effect on the body's immune system, but rather kills
pathogens directly, helping relieve the immune system. I prefer to say
it relieves the immune system than boosts it. If she is having her
immune system attacking her joints, then that is easy to stop. A round
of CMO should stop that pretty quickly. But CMO without killing the
pathogens that get the body started attacking itself will be of limited

1. kill the pathogens. IE EIS
2. Take CMO to reset the immune system
3. Take supplements to rebuild the joints.
The argument may sound like picking too much at details or use of

They stripped it outside and inside.
I went there at Christmas time, immediately I could smell mold. She was so
taken aback and said there is no mold here only in the basement!!! What, i
said, she said that the water is running in the basement on the floors and we
haven't fixed it yet. I told her that the mold can crawl up the 100 yr old
wood quickly as well as the cement, she dismissed this.
She is very sick, the docs do not know what is wrong with her as she has gone
to many, they are going to send her to the University for they think they may
have to do a liver transplant.
My call on this, i researched when she started to get sick it was when she
started to remodel the home, they did not start from the foundation up but
rather the middle and up. I believe the home is toxic and do not know if they
actually corrected the problem or if the mold got a toe hold. They built a
garage near the home without a curtain drain so now
The home is still in the stud stage, i guess, she has lost 30 lbs in 2 weeks,
50 lbs since Jan 1st, and is not eating much but on a tremendous amt of
antibiotics, which as you know, is made from yeast.
I have tried to tell her but... she will not listen.
I am at a loss. Everybody PooPoos this idea of mold.

I looked at this link. It all sounds Mainstream to me.

Even the first line,

guessing and running around in circles.

Many great doctors and scientists state, No Autoimmune disease exists.

It certainly is a mainstream term and used instead of saying,

At best, it is a classification of a group of unknown diseases, causes,

Further, I would put it ( Auto immune ) in the class with

Two words, two lies.

Not to mention the committee that sits around thinking up names for disease.
They worked long and hard to arrive at Fibromyalgia.

I am surprised they do not have a name for people that write health

The fact is, most alternative ideas are so inflated with mainstream

all worthless.

People believe all the junk and cannot tell the News, from the Truth, or

And that was the plan, just like all politics that are taking place

We are the victims, and some of us do not even know it.

Re: CSHave symptoms, need possible causes and solutions!

2008-02-25 Thread Paula Perry
Scott,
You might want to look-up the side effects for all medication you are on
including the Prilosec. You need to correct the condition that is causing the
acid reflux instead. It could be caused by too little acid. If you are cold all
the time you might have low Thyroid. It sounds like you need a new doctor that
uses holistic medicine. Brittle bones,-you need supplements!

  Hey, Group!

I was woken up this morning aspirating on my own saliva. I grabbed a kleenex
next to the bed and spit out this nasty, bile tasting stuff that was a
blackish-brown color. This is about the third time this has happened in the
past 3 years and I feel like I just fought a huge battle in the Octagon -
cage fighting for those that don't know. My muscles ache, my bones feel brittle
and I am very cold even though it is over 80 degrees in my home.
I have a condition called Barrett's Esophagus and take Prilosec to help
reduce the acid reflux that comes with the results of having a Hiatal Hernia
that protrudes thru my diaphragm. The labs I have had over the past 5 years
have shown slightly low white blood counts with everything else within normal
ranges. I don't want to go back to my doctor as he just writes it off as all
part of my GERD and writes me another acid-reducing Rx.
I've been making and taking CS for the past two years and haven't had even a
cold. Anyhow, what could this be and what, if anything at all, do you folks
suggest I do?

Thanks everyone for writing. I will work with some of the things mentioned. I
have been brushing with baking soda and sea salt and then rinsing with deluted

infection away. It is only the one tooth that has the problem. It is not loose
or bleeding or infected but I have to be very careful. It has been receded for
years (at least 12). Just now it is worse because it has progressed over the

But CMO without killing the
pathogens that get the body started attacking itself will be of limited
effectiveness. She need to follow the protocol of:

1. kill the pathogens. IE EIS
2. Take CMO to reset the immune system
3. Take supplements to rebuild the joints.
The argument may sound like picking too much at details or use of

Smitty,
Try the peroxide rinsing. It gets rid of the plaque. Just take hydrogen
peroxide and mix one third to two thirds water. Swish around and spit out.
Then you want to go around the tooth with a dental stick. It will prevent
you from having those horrible cleanings. I did have mine cleaned last week
but it only took 10 minutes for the whole mouth.

Subject: CSreceding gums

Thanks everyone for writing. I will work with some of the things mentioned.
I have been brushing with baking soda and sea salt and then rinsing with
deluted hydrogen peroxide. Once in a while I put some oregano oil on it. This
keeps any infection away. It is only the one tooth that has the problem. It is
not loose or bleeding or infected but I have to be very careful. It has been
receded for years (at least 12). Just now it is worse because it has progressed
over the years. I guess I would like it to grow back!
I will try the oil pulling and using the CS more. Might try adding the DSMO
if I can get past the fear factor. I also will order some of the MMS.

I have heard and read on many occasions that EIS boosts the immune
system, as I found out last weekend, that is not desireable for some
people. We had a visitor staying the weekend who suffers from
Reumatoid Arthritis, I suggested that EIS might help for avoiding
things like colds and flu. The term boost which I used in my
description of EIS put her off immediately, you don't want to give
strength to something that is attacking you.
I would think that EIS does NOT boost the immune system, it simply
deals with infections etc which the immune system would have to deal
with if EIS was not used. Please correct me if I wrong!!!
But CMO without killing the
pathogens that get the body started attacking itself will be of limited
effectiveness. She need to follow the protocol of:

1. kill the pathogens. IE EIS
2. Take CMO to reset the immune system
3. Take supplements to rebuild the joints.
The argument may sound like picking too much at details or use of
vocabulary but as I found out the word boost is not always
desireable and I would like to think that what EIS does is to give you
a secondary immune system and not boost the one we have which
ultimately is the only cure for many ailments like the common cold.
The boost that EIS gives to the immune system would be to reduce the
workload but not to affect it directly.

Yes, exactly.

Marshall
I would appreciate any comments and or clarification.

 Thank you

Smitty,
Try the peroxide rinsing.

Plaque buildup will cause loose teeth.

I am already on the list, and likely many more.

I said a document, maybe I should have said a publication.

All it was .. was a patent copy. Public information. Anyone
can get one, no problem.

Even if you are an inventor, and do patent searches regularly, there are
some things they feel we should not know about. Even if we are working on
an invention just for the benefit of the government, they may not consider
this of value and a right to information.

I still hesitate to say what this device was / is and its intended use.

Yet today it is legal in some states. No matter to some powers and

2008-02-25 Thread zeb caffe
Paula, I have been using something called allimed for a chronic infection that
I acquired in my jawbone due to infected dental implants that had to be
removed. I heard about it from a lyme doctor who said that they had some
success with it with lyme patients. You have to order it and it is expensive
but I think it is a very good antimicrobial and anti fungal. I just recently
started using it and it seems to work well for my jaw. I have a feeling that
this infection in my jaw is going to be long term for me and I need something I
can tolerate. I know of a lyme patient that said it has cured her thrush .she
was using nystatin rinse that was doing nothing for her. I tried oregano and it
didnt do much for me with the jaw infection but burn like anything. I have read
good results from others about oregano however. Have you tried the carvacol
oregano?
A question for anyone in the group. I use alternatives with my dog for most
things. I have found herbals effective for ear infections and I also give my
dog high quality food. I took her to the vet today and I was told that heart
worm is becoming a big problem and can carry risks to humans now. I keep my dog
flea free by using a flea comb and vacuuming the carpet daily. Because she is a
small dog and rarely goes outside and we have no cats, fleas have never been a
problem so I dont use advantage because the dog sleeps in my bed and I know
that this advantage stuff can get in your enviroment. I am however worried
about heart worm and some other parasites that seem to be emerging with pets.
does anyone have any suggestions for heartworm or should I just bite the bullet
and give her the pill? Also any natural suggestions for fleas would be helpful
as my vet doesnt think I am doing my dog justice by refusing advantage. I hate
giving my dog a pill that is an internal
 insecticide.
Thanks to everyone who has answered my questions in the past.

Re: CSsymptoms to kirsteen

2008-02-25 Thread Tad Winiecki

From: Kirsteen Wright

I personally suspect that it may have been caused by exposure to an
insecticide spray. July 2006 I was fit, healthy, working 12 hour
shifts,

excercising, decorating, moving house, extremely active. I had, over a
couple of weeks, more that normal exposure to a spray containing
pyriproxyfen and permethrin. I developed headaches, aches and pains,
and

became tired very quickly.

Kirsteen- Stress can cause a lot of health problems, in addition to
the pesticide exposure. Some types of chemical exposures can only be
removed by saunas/ heat and sweating.

Me too. I tried DR Mercolas treatment about six months ago. Heart burn was
tough for the first two months even taking tagmet every day. I found that I had
to avoid or limit certain foods that cause heart burn, all the good pies.
Now I can try some pie for lunch and live with a slight heart burn, if it gets
too bad I use Pepcid Complete. I got rid of my extra pillows and raised bed,
not needed anymore. I still drink water or tea/coffee with lemon juice and
ACVinegar. I had to have my esophagus expanded three times because food would
not go through. I am 76 years old. Try DR Mercolas heartburn/GERDS treatment.
It helped me.
