RE: CS>Public Vote re: Face Color

2009-06-19 Thread Thora Rasmussen

I was a nail tech for 15 years, so keep in mind this is only the perspective
of a nail tech, not a doctor. If the pictures of your nails actually look
like your real nails, I'd say the nails are a bit on the pink side. You'll
notice that they are lighter at the tips of the nail beds than they are
against the moon. They should be almost the same pinkness throughout the
entire pink part. What this indicates, I do not know. Whenever anyone
asked, I usually just sent them to the internet with links like I sent
earlier. I really only had a couple people ever ask. The only time I'd say
something is when their nails were a bluey red, which I knew indicated heart
trouble, and even that I only did twice.

PS - your response to my link was hilarious, it made me burst out with a big
old belly laugh!

I have added a photo of my two thumbs (the other fingers were on the photos

I have had an email or two from people who use much higher oral doses,

how/why many oral antibiotics are fatal for rabbits.

Yes, it's probably relevant in only a few people :-)

Regarding EDTA removing silver from the skin, I found this
on http://www.digitalnaturopath.com/treat/T305361.html :

Colloidal Silver should be used temporarily rather than continuously.
Some doctors recommend that after using colloidal silver for an
extended internal treatment period you should take steps to remove
the silver from your system. Approaches include taking homeopathic
silver (Argentum nitrate), EDTA chelation, or homeopathic DMPS.
In argyria, EDTA chelation will remove the blue / gray tinge from
the skin, usually with just a few treatments.

Hi Bob,

and have you ever tried that selenium protocol?

I have read somewhere that silver lowers selenium levels (why??),
and indeed my heavy metal and trace mineral test showed silver
high and selenium low.

Now I'll try that protocol and see what happens. For feedback,
I'll simply ask the people who have seen me as blue.

Doesn't life always have a new game :-))

What's EIS again?

It's my own homemade silver - double distilled water and
two 99.9 silver rods connected to a 12 V battery charger.
It's making a 10 liter batch and runs about 30 hours.

The color of the product is a very light yellow.

an affinity list, but it is good to know it!

Yes, I thought so too. The first set was made with "indoor"
setting. Normally indoor light is a big yellow, so the camera
may try to balance that with some additional blue?

The "auto" setting detected the daylight and switched the
extra blue off. That's how I would do it if I were a camera :-)

Here is the binding preference of EDTA that I know of listed in order
highest affinity:

Chromium
Iron
Mercury
Copper
Lead
Zinc
Cadmium
Cobalt
Aluminum
Iron
Manganese
Calcium
Magnesium

So, EDTA bound with calcium will release the calcium and bind with a
higher affinity metal such as copper if free copper is available, etc. I
don't know where silver is on the EDTA affinity list but I wouldn't
expect EDTA to be very effective in removing silver given the amount of
other higher affinity metals in the body.

Well, I would expect it to be close to copper which is near the top. I
cannot find any rhyme or reason for this order though.

Hi...

First things first. When you are making a presentation to a shop, you would do
well to have a portfolio of work. It should include:
Your contact information
Resume
Any media attention/ads/mentions/awards/acolades/letters regarding you/your work
Pictures
can include you making jewelry, your jewelry, your sales stand if you
have a public one, definitely include photographs, drawings, images being worn,
etc. Include pics of your display, of earrings packaged to go, discuss how
YOU prefer to ship them out, be willing to discuss alternatives.

If she buys wholesale, the cost is hers. She packages them fancy, she displays
them, they are her display. She has simply purchased your pieces. But then you
give up how they are presented.

Congrats!

Kim

Here is a picture of blue fingernails caused by silver:

It is an extreme example. Marshall has a better one.

Now, here is a picture of blue fingernails caused by tetracycline and it is
closer of what to look for:

Hi Steve,

actually yes, I had them checked and they are OK.

I also got 10 bottles of EDTA. Is that taking silver out along with mercury,
lead etc.?

My fingernails are pink! Do you happen to know of a good photo of
fingernails getting blue?

Thank you very much for this additional information!

The point is, I don't find my face blue and if 50 % of people don't find it
blue either, why do the other 50% find it blueish/grey?
This is so puzzling to me.

Here are some nail disorders in pictures. It will put a real perspective on
a minor problem.

Also, when looking at nails, be sure to check the toe nails at the same
time.

CS>Presenting to a Shop

2009-06-19 Thread sms

Hi...

First things first. When you are making a presentation to a shop, you would
do well to have a portfolio of work. It should include:
Your contact information
Resume
Any media attention/ads/mentions/awards/acolades/letters regarding you/your
work
Pictures
can include you making jewelry, your jewelry, your sales stand if
you have a public one, definitely include photographs, drawings, images
being worn, etc. Include pics of your display, of earrings packaged to
go, discuss how YOU prefer to ship them out, be willing to discuss
alternatives.

If she buys wholesale, the cost is hers. She packages them fancy, she
displays them, they are her display. She has simply purchased your pieces.
But then you give up how they are presented.

Congrats!

RE: CS>Public Vote re: Face Color

2009-06-19 Thread Thora Rasmussen

You are not blue. If you note that people will see it one day and not the
next, it has probably a lot more to do with the color of your clothes
against your face that day.

Do you color your hair? You don't have to answer that, but the color of our
hair makes a massive difference in the way our skin looks, and if we choose
the wrong tone, it will make our skin look wrong. The wrong color could
make someone look pale, tired, blotchy, enhance dark circles, red, etc. Not
all hairdressers are very honest with us. They give us the color we want,
even if it doesn't suit us. And for those who do their own, no one is there
to guide us.

The top two pictures make your hair look quite ash with no golden color
showing at all, and your skin looks pale, and some might say blue or grey.
The bottom picture shows more golden in your hair and your skin looks
healthier, more rosy. And people who are VERY white sometimes look like
they have blue skin it's so white.

Have you ever had your "Colors" done. When it's done right, it will show
you the best colours to wear for your skin tone, and it can also recommend
the types of hair colors if you'll ask.

A simple way to do your own if you want, is look at the inside of your
wrist, where your veins show. Bend your wrist back, and look at the veins.
Do they look pinkish or bluish. If pink, don't wear blue, pink or blue
based reds, or silver coloured jewellery. If bluish don't wear yellow,
orange, or orange based reds, or gold toned jewellery. Almost no one looks
good in black or white.

I cannot wear any kind of yellows or oranges, they make me look sick, no
matter what.

I have to really pay attention in the winter when my skin is not tanned,
because I sometimes look WAY too white.

If you are absolutely bored (and a little interested in the question whether
a lot of colloidal silver makes a face blue), you can vote about my face
color here:

http://www.sgmt.at/personal/ColorVote.htm

I cannot see any blue in my face. Maybe the silver went also to the eyes
:-

The doctor who noted a "grey" face said that it is only in the face. The
body is white, parts of it sun tanned.

I have seen so many impressive Argyria faces and don't feel that I belong
into this gallery???

Ditto. I think the two bottom ones look perfectly normal, but the two top
