Re: CS>OT - DE

2011-10-28 Thread Paula Samuels Anthis
Hello PT,

I have also tried to take the Perma Guard food grade DE several different times
along with very good hydration with pure water ( my drink of choice always).
I was never able to get past about a tsp a day and eventually even1/4 tsp
caused abdominal distress.  I had intense soreness and a raw cramping
sensation, mostly on the left each time and quite painful.

I was diagnosed with IBS many years ago and still have symptoms from various
foods sometimes, but had much greater symptoms of cramping and D with the DE
trials.  This was a very disappointing happening to me because I had researched
DE so thoroughly before initiating taking the DE and was so ready to experience
benefits from taking DE..

My husband takes about a tbsp of DE daily in his protein shake with no problems
whatsoever.

When I have previously inquired about anyone having any difficulty taking DE or
building up the dose, there were no direct answers on that forum and a response
from the moderator that there would not be a problem from the DE itself.  My
hypersensitive system does react negatively and I now choose to not take DE
internally anymore because of these past episodes.

We bought a 50 pound sack of Perma Guard DE because of the strength of the
information we had gleaned about food grade DE.  DH takes it and we use it
successfully as insect control.

Hope this helps validate your own experience.  We are each a unique creation
and are not a one-size-fits-all situation regarding any health giving remedy.

Blessings,
Paula

for several weeks and had to
stop.  I never got over 1 tsp twice x day.  It started as a very mild
pain in my left side and worsened.. not horrible but it was there.  I
have mild diverticulosis, found when I had a colonoscopy a few years
back.  I have only had it flare up a few times but the pain is very
similar to the pain I got with the DE, varying only by degree.  The DE
pain was very slight by comparison but it truly was a feeling of
'rawness'.  I don't know how else to describe it.  Diverticulosis is
almost invariably found on the left side of the abdomen, about 4 - 6
inches horizontally over from the belly button.  I am not saying this
is your problem but.. it sounds eerily similar to my problems with DE.
You may have undiagnosed diverticulosis that DE irritates possibly?
I do believe in educating your self and listening to your body.  If I
were to use DE again, I would probably experiment and try eating with
bread or something?  Lola

Our research group conducted extensive tests, 5 or 6 years ago, on the effects
of full-spectrum lighting on a variety of subjects, from race-horses, to school
children. We obtained some remarkable results. We were inspired to perform
these tests as a result of the influence of John Ott, a banker turned amateur
photographer in the late 60's. He wrote several interesting books.
Of all the bulbs and lighting systems we tested, those manufactured by the
Durotest corporation were---by far---the best and the ONLY ones that met all of
the published specifications. One of our office staff just informed me that
Durotest has a web site..http://concentric.net/~Durotest/ We have
no connection with these people, economic, professional or otherwise. They just
had the best products at the time of our tests (1984-86). I hope this is of

We also had to search a bit and finally found HEB brand seltzer water
at a larger HEB supermarket.   I believe we also found a water and CO2 only at
Walmart - but passed it up because the HEB was a few cents less per bottle.
Last trip into town I noticed that the HEB sletzer had gone from 2/$1 to 57
cents each...so that is close to the Walmart price.  Hope you find it and that
it helps!

Hi,
I finally got around to going and purchasing the necessary items to make the
magnesium bicarbonate water. The only thing is that when I got home I found
that the Seagram's club soda I purchased also has potassium phosphate,
magnesium sulvate and potasium bicarbonate in it. The directions were specific
about having nothing other than CO2 and water but I have been looking and have
not been able to find any seltzer or club soda in the stores I have been
checking that are only CO2 and water.

Any ideas?
Thanks.

It is wonderful news that the gluten free is helping you so much and so
quickly.  I hope things continue to improve more and more as you remain gluten
free.   Have you read the vet's article about the fearsome 4 foods?  I scanned
a lot of his website today and sense he is really on to something many of us
would greatly benefit from. and not just our pets!  one of the other posts

We get cinnamon 1000mg plus Chromium 100 mg in capsules at Walmart and take a
couple whenever we eat out or have  larger than usual meal.   You can also use
regualr cinnamon mixed into the food or make cinnamon tea, but then I want to
add sugar which is counterproductive in my estimation, so I take the capsules
and a glass of water.

CS>Mercury Filling removal - anesthesia

2010-11-05 Thread Paula Samuels Anthis
Hi Jess and Pat,

Jess.If memory serves correct the carbocaine is detoxified more easily and
through different pathways than the lidocaine which usually has epinephrine
with
it to make it last longer in the tissues, affording a longer anesthesia.  For
those of us with chronic health issues, the detoxification process if already
impaired or we would not have the chronic condition, and our inability to
handle
the epinephrine is usually a part of this chronic illness.  I have been told to
not allow epinephrine to be given to me under any circumstances, even
anaphalaxis,  as my adrenals cannot compensate for the shock of the epi effects
in my body.  Also I never thought I was having any trouble with the lidocaine
with epinephrine until that dentist gave me the carbocaine and I felt so much
better in spite of the other effects of the dental treatment.

Pat.If I had my choice I would definately see a biologic dentist as they
are
trained far beyond regular dentistry regarding the interaction of the dental
materials and the human body - specifically YOUR body and various materials
including how to test your body for reactivity to any chosen materials.  In my
case it was a horrendously expensive difference, so I chose to tough it out and
paid the price of needing a couple of months to detox what was released in the
process of the drillling into my mouth - even with the helper using the vacuum
in my mouth I could feel the particulate hitting all over my mouth and throat.
If I had been allowed to rinse and spit more frequently it might have helped a
bit, but he was drilling on several teeth in the same sitting, trying to get
the
work done before the end of my dental insurance coverage.  I did not start
heavy
metal reactions for about 24 hours, but when I did it was a combat zone for
weeks of unrelenting sore throat, swollen glands, flu like symptoms, pain, low
grade fever, brain fog, lessened thyroid function and increased adrenal
stress.
I did eventually get over it and did use some heavy metal detox - what
specifically I cannot remember.  Only that I would probably try to do it
differently if I had the opportunity.

Blessings, Paula

Just an FYIIF IF IF there is any overlaying illness such as chronic
fatigue/fibromyalgia/hypothyroidism/MCS/EI present we may not clear the usual
local mouth anesthesia of have a mild reaction we have considered normal just
because it is the way we have always felt after dental work requiring injection
anesthesia.  I am thankful a dentist actually lookd at my medical history and
said "You know I just attended a workshop and they said that Carbocaine is the
anesthesia of choice for folks like you because it does not clear by the same
pathways that lidocaine does and they said that since the epinepherine can
cause
you some problems too, I'll use plain Carbocaine".   WOW the difference in
recovery was amazing, none of the jaw sensations or body flu like symptoms.

He was also the doc that refused to use a dam in my mouth because " It would
take so much time in my chair and you will do just fine" when he removed a
mercury filling.  I was at the very end of dental insurance and he was willing
to say I needed the fillings replaced, s.   I had to go through major
detox because he would not use that dam, and probably because so far as I knew
it was the last mercury in my mouth..and I could not afford a biologic
dentist.

Although I have not had any need for any mouth anesthesia in the last 8 years
(Yea!).  I have made my new dentist note that if I need injectable anesthesia
he
is to use only Carbocaine for me - - - reply from dental tech and dentist "No
problem, we have it right here" as the tech reached into the drawer to show it
to me.

Pat, we are hoping things go well for the mercury removal!

CS>MRSA - again

Thanks for the heads up about muratic acid.

So are hydrochorus acid and hydrochloric acid almost the same thing?

Now can someone tell me where or how they used or heard of use of the muratic
acid?  Is it to be used to activate the MMS?  And if so, how does the resulting
activated MMS differ from using vinegar or lemon juice?

I am brain blithered from the weekend and more break outs on Leon.  After the
current quarter sized lesion, all the rest have been tiny. ALL are diminishing
with the addition of Miracle II neutralizer liquid and gel to the treatment
plan.  Today all the areas are definately in retreat, but the last several days
have been a real strain emotionally and physically.  Leon says the pain is now
nonexistent and he is choosing to continue treating as we are, as he does not
choose to consult a doc or ER.  He feels what we are doing is working and will
work to get to the root cause.  He has started turp and says it tastes like
minty flavored fine turpentine.  So far so GOOD.

Thanks Tom,

You brought up several points we, nor anyone else had mentioned.

I am so sensitive to citric acid that we are using either fresh lemon juice or
ACV  to activate the MMS as we do not even have any citric acid.  Can you
transpose your calculations using either of those?

Don't know where we could get Hydrochloric acid here in the boonies, maybe the
high school?  If that becomes a possibility, how much do I need and does it
come
in different strengths?

I have been washing the sheets and clothing double in HOT water with oxy
cleaner
and detergent.  When you say 5 ml of MMS, do you mean activated MMS or straight
out of the MMS bottle MMS..sorry I get so confused about that point.  Renee
suggested that we refer to the activated as AMMS and the unactivated as
MMS.and that has helped us differentiate here at home

Leon is notorious for acquiring thrift store personal clothing and I do not
mind
so long as on arrival home it gets the multi wash in hot water TX and sometimes
even bleach the bejeebers out of it in the old washer outside so I do not get
sick from the chlorine smell inside the house.  BUT he also will just put his
new finds away if not thinking about it or I do not catch him wandering in with
his newest treasure  (old habit we are still working on).

Our big bone of contention is his buying used shoes and not washing them in hot
water and bleach before bringing them in.  I go balistic on this one as I have
had to fight fungus and yeast so much more since we married a year ago and
think
it is coming in one the used stuff he is constantl acquiring,  and he
blissfully
remains clueless no matter how many times I ask him to clean up his shoes and
his act because of my own poorly functining immune system.as he
blissfully floats down de nile. Yurhhh.

Thanks for the input and for listening and I look forward to your answers to
this post.

Hello Paula,

The MMS protocol doesn’t produce enough chlorine dioxide to be effective
against
MRSA.  It helps, but it isn’t strong enough to eliminate it.

If you had hydrochloric acid, a topically mixture could be made that is strong
enough, and still not too strong to irritate the skin and surrounding tissue.

However, let’s work with what you have.

Mix up in a glass 1 ml of MMS and add to that 1 ml of 10% citric acid.  Let
this
activate for 10 minutes, then add enough water to make a total solution of 125
ml.  Cut a square of paper towel that will fit over the problem area.  Dip the
paper towel into the solution and apply.  Let it sit there for 5 minutes, then
repeat 2 more times.  This will give you 3 applications in all.  This solution
has around 100 PPM free chlorine dioxide but is an acid so it may irritate the
skin.  An application in the morning followed by another application in the
evening should eliminate the surface MRSA.  You can mix the solution in the
morning, use it, and store it out of UV light until evening and use it again
then.  It probably should be mixed fresh each morning.

Re-infection is another issue and you may want to consider disinfecting
clothing
and sleeping materials to remove that possibility.  In your washing machine you
can pour 5 ml of MMS into the water and that should help.  In order to get a
more accurate figure I would need the amount of water it takes to fill up your
machine during a typical load.

Tom

Now this third place on his left calf, which he chose to ignore for over a
week,
apparently started looking out looking the same as the others, but had formed a
hard knot beneath it, become painful and the crusty part had already turned
yellow and pus looking but was dry when he finally showed it to me two nights
ago.  I had a fit, so he started zapping with 6 volts foot bath to second foot
bath, directly over the site, and also on either side of the site alternating
current direction (switching when I would remind him to do so).  Also using
topical CS and MMS, plus oral H202 (all with DMSO added) every morning and MMS
when I can catch him and remind him. (He is the most gentle, kind, loving and
patient man I have ever met AND he has absolutely no sense of time or
sequencing
so my micro managing skills are needed way to frequently).

Has anyone dealt with localized or systemic MRSA  (online it says that if there
are recurrent breakouts that it is definitely systemic). He has had these long
lasting reddened spots for several years, but we never connected the dots till
he became so ill last Jan.  The finding by DaddyBob about the cluster of lymph
glands in proximity to the appendix confirmed our suspicion that the MRSA on
the
leg had traveled to his lower abdomen and was the true cause of all his
abdominal distress last Jan, that the doc never pinpointed a reason for after
four weeks severe pain and in bed with a 20 pound wt loss.

Feedback and suggestion are VERY welcome at this point!

I am going to post on the two other forums that have been such a help also.  We

Hi Dick,

I know you did not ask, but here is my experience anyway.  I have ongoing
electrolyte issues and have found that potassium works better for my leg cramps
and magnesium is better for "restless leg" type movements.  If I do not
take potassium in supplement form AM and bedtime, leg cramps will follow that
will not be relieved by anything but the potassium.

Now a question about the MgCl - How is it working concerning the hypertension?

Maybe you can encapsulate coconut milk, but not sure about the oil. Just try it.

I have the big Harbor Freight Ultrasonic jewelry cleaner, and let it run 480
seconds with Vit C and Glutathione. They work fine. I measured the Ph of the
Vit C after adding the 3/4 tsp sodium bicarbonate, and it was still acidic, so
I kept adding the soda until it read over 7. Not sure that is necessary, but it
encapsulated ok. And the lecithin read about 7 before and after adding the Vit
C.

I tried encapsulating magnesium chloride, but it didn't work. I am taking the
magnesium chloride for hypertension and leg cramps, and am wondering if it
would be more effective if it was encapsulated and went directly into the blood
and cells where needed instead of through the digestive system.

CS>Re Plantar Fasciatis

2010-10-13 Thread Paula Samuels Anthis
DB,

When I thought I had done all that I could to diminish the pain of plantar
fasciatis, I finally found that pressing upward with my thumb on the bottom of
my foot at the point of the worst pain - which for me was the middle of the
ball of the right foot - would "pop" something back into place and bring short
term relief.  Doing this repeatedly over a period of time, a lot of prayer and
telling my body it had been "made to do a job of supporting me while I walk, so
do it already!" AND wearing a really mushy show with a bodacious arch support
brought more relief.  In fact the only shoes I could wear for a couple of years
were the Mush sandals from Teva ( I have long feet and had found the men's on
sale so it was the men's style I was wearing) with a Spenco metatarsal pad I
found online and glued into the sole of both right and left of the Teva Mush
sandals.  The metatarsal support felt like I was walking on a rock at first,
but it finally relieved
the pain for that season.  Then came full healing of the entire problem.  Used
a lot of DMSO on the foot bottoms too..

The podiatrist did nothing to help and said it would only get worse.  Now I am
bare footing it and have absolutely NO foot pain!  I am so blessed and thankful
and pray the same will come to your wonderful feet, DB.

I also was on huge amounts of MSM at the time for the fibromyalgia pain.  That
FM pain receded a long time before the feet settled down, but they did.  Of
course this was before I had all these other modalities to assist the healing

CS>Help with tooth extraction pain

2010-09-27 Thread Paula Samuels Anthis
Sunny,

What does the mucous membrane of the palate look like?  Is it red, swollen,
splotchy, white patches, oozing pus, macerated or torn in places?  I am getting
a bit concerned for you here.  Your mouth should be improving and settling down
already!  Could you be having a hypersensitivity reaction to the injection that
deadened the area?  Have you used MMS before and done all right with it?  I
also wonder if you had some tearing of the gum adjacent to the extraction area
up into the palate?  Could that explanation "fit"?  What is your gut feeling
about what is happening inside your mouth?  Did you increase the CS and dilute
the MMS a bit more.  Tonight when I applied MMS/DMSO/CS to my back, some areas
stung for a few minutes and other parts did not - no rhyme or reason.  So what
do you FEEL is going on inside your poor little mouth?  Please contact the
dentist tomorrowremembering he is going to make suggestions and the final
choice about what
to do is yours, always!  But please do get his professional opinion and do not
be surprised if he wants to see you so he can observe the tissues that are
causing you so much trouble.
Praying for your healing,  Paula

CS>Help with tooth extraction pain

2010-09-26 Thread Paula Samuels Anthis
Sunny,

None of the following is given as mediacal advice, just comments and things I
have done or would try.

OUCH!  With that much trauma to the socket area to remove the tooth - in three
pieces, it stands to reason that it is gonna take a while for the bone
"bruising" and trauma to settle down and heal, sort of like it takes a broken
bone a lot longer to heal than a bad tissue bruise.  The dentist separated jaw
bone from tooth (bone-like) tissue and a 3 rooter is a task because of the
angles on the roots  going in different directions.

>From what you describe and what you are doing - unless you have a foul odor,
>pus from the empty gum area,  fever, increased swelling or redness or other
>signs of infection like on the list the dentist should have given you - it is
>just going to be a healing process.

Personally, I would probably be gently swishing and swallowing the silver many
more times a day as it is anti-inflammatory as well as helping kill pathogens.
I just feel better when I am taking the silver several times a day.

I made and used a zapper on a tooth root and am having good results.  We
are glad I took the plunge as it is a very positive one for me.

Lower jaw swelling is called "dependent edema" a fancy term for describing the
fluids from the swelling in the upper jaw running downhill - from the upper jaw
to the lower one.  You may end up with resolving bruising in the lower jaw as
dependent bruising is often very deep and will not be seen until it begins
resolving from the dark to the blue and green and yellow stages.

It would be wise to keep drinking adequate amounts of pure water and stay away
from sugars in the mouth as they can feed all the nasty pathogens just waiting
to set up housekeeping.

The stitch might have been used to pull raw gum edges back together after that
rough extraction.  The tissue edges are probably healed but I would not remove
the stich until contacting the dentist on Monday as I do not know about the
moist mouth area and stitches.  Leaving the tail on that nylon stitch would
make it easier to remove later.

Are you only swishing the MMS or are you taking it orally so it can reach that
area from the inside also?  If MMS is stinging that much I wonder if you would
be kinder to the open and raw tissues by diluting it a bit more???

Seems common sense to be sure to brush the rest of your teeth, very gently and
avoid the sore area.  Maybe use Hydrogen peroxide or silver?

I wonder if rinsing your mouth with hydrogen peroxide might also give some
relief.  I have been using H2O2 in a water moistened mouth with good results
lately.  Just a thought.

I am so sorry you have had such a tough experience and pray you will feel
better soon and heal completely.

Keep us posted on your progress as well as what seems to help and what did
not.  Helps us to know these things.

Blessings from Paula in Palacios

Hi Sunny,
As far as I know a "dry socket" is when the blood clot in the socket is
dislodged.  I found some information on the web at

I hope this is helpful.
Good luck.

Hi all,   I know no one can give medical advice, I fully take responsibility
for choosing to follow any 'ideas' anyone may share... as my choice!

I've just had a tooth extracted, upper molar, which required injections of
numbing stuff into the upper palate, lots of drilling to cut up the tooth and
subsequent hacking out in 3 sections..and stitches.  It is still painful after
a week and sore..and some nylon loop has now appeared dangling from the area...
husband tried to cut it so it would not catch... but it is hard to do with
scissors.   The dentist didn't say anything about soluble stitches or to come
back and have them outI don't want to revisit him to get 'medication' that
he suggested he would give me if it still hurt after a week.. but I may call re
the nylon-style unbreakable stitch thread...

My lower jaw was swollen as well...and has now gone down but is bruised..must
have been dentist manhandling my mouth during the extraction.

Hey Ode or anyone who has traveled with his Silver Puppy,

I have been wondering about traveling with Silver Puppy as a friend and her
husband are asking about taking enough EIS for an overseas trip and I thought
your Puppy would be a better idea, or maybe the Pocket Puppy would be the
best for traveling?

And is there any way to make either Puppy less a challenge to the examining
folks, like maybe packing it in one of the old lead envelopes we used to put
our 35mm camera film in so it would not get exposed?  Or do the new
machines penetrate those too?

Anyone know how much liquid ESI you can carry in checked luggage?

CS>A perplexing Problem.... 68 yo post op complete hyst

2010-09-04 Thread Paula Samuels Anthis

I gotta jump in here and ask why she had the surgery and what the pathology
reports of the tissues removed showed?

Is she dealing with a cancer situation of a hysterectomy because everything was
falling out down below?

PLEASE, if it is a cancer in any form do not mess with her hormones  as this
can greatly exacerbate growth of estrogen dependent cancer cells if that is in
this picture.

HOWEVER, if the surgery was primarily to aid in bladder control by getting a
useless heavy uterus filled with old fibroids off her bladder and restore
urinary control, and there was no cancer found, then she might benefit from
hormone support.  But since we do not know about any prescription
medications she is on or the pathology report it is best to support
nutritionally and psychologically.

After my hyst, I needed progerterone, not estrogin and finally found the
bioidentical was sold in health food stores after prescriptives repeatedly made
me sicker than a dog needing to eat grass.

Also, someone 68 may not have a full understanding of the anatomy and sometimes
it is a bag full of reassurance that is needed - that she is still healthy or
even healthier now that the useless organs are out and that she is still all
woman!

Technically a complete hysterectomy means that the whole uterus was removed.  A
pan hysterectomy means the ovaries and uterus were removed.  So exactly what
was removed here and why?  THEN go for remedies from a naturopathic viewpoint
of support.  Most people assume that complete means all, and it does mean all
of the uterus, but may or may not have involved removal of the ovaries also.
With the information given it is safe to support with foods, silver for the
extra well being and with a lot of physhological and emotional support while
finding out the answers to these other unknowns.

Thanks for cyber listening, Paula

It sounds like withdrawal symptoms. The doctors may be assumming due to her
age that she went through menopause and was producing no estrogen. However
an ovarian cyst could excrete large amounts of estrogen and or progesterone.
It may be that she got used to this high level of estrogen and now that they
removed its source she is experiancing withdrawal from it. It wouldn't hurt
to give her some over the counter estrogen from natural sources. Any health
food store sells many different brands of estrogen supplements. If it helps
her then we have pinpointed the problem and you could continue to give it to
her and gradually ween her off over time. The herb black cohosh might make
her feel better also.

Has anyone heard of anything like this?   I believe the surgery was prompted
because of a sys or tumor on her ovaries.

CS>Need some ideas, please

2010-09-03 Thread Paula Samuels Anthis
Mary Ann,
I am so very sorry to hear that your bother is suffering so.  I am praying for
his full return to good health in spirit, soul and body including thoughts and
emotions.

When the news about the statins appeared It fits in with a rather odd twist
with personal hubby experience.  Health care provider had wanted hubby on
statins for years because of high cholesterol and family history although his
is clear of any detectable cardiac disease thus far at age 60. We resisted
medication in statin form because of working his lipid panel values through
some formulas I found online that showed because of his super good HDL scores,
his cholesterol really was not a health problem.   Of course the doc
disagreed.

Then I read a book on Hypothyroidism Type 2 by Mark Starr MD.  In it he tells
how less than optimal thyroid hormone  tissue ( as opposed to circulating blood
serum) levels can lead to a myriad of cascading symptoms including to high
cholesterol, hyperglycemia and then diabetes, low body temperature, brain fog,
repeated infections, lack of proper digestion related to low body temperature
rendering many enzymatic processes in the body inactive, weight gain, dry skin,
brittle nails and thinning hair, depression, malnutrition even with healthy
dietary habits, poor eyesight,  coordination  etc etc etc.  I loaned my book
and cannot remember all the thyroid related issues and symptoms.

One of the very impressive simple self tests he mentions proved his theory
about this particular office or home test to me.  First pinch the skin on the
back of your hand and notice that all you get is skin to gently rub back and
forth against itself.  Now try to pinch just skin on the upper outer arm.  If
you can pinch skin only it is obvious and there is probably not a hypothyroid
condition in progress.  If, however, you pinch skin and an inch or two of
underlying flesh and cannot pinch just skin by itself, it is indicative of
myxedema which Dr Starr says is a primary diagnostic tool indicating
hypothyroidism in the body tissues.  If the thyroid hormone is available in the
blood but not being picked up by the other cells of the body, it is a condition
known as thyroid resistance.  Sounds akin to insulin resistance (aka diabetes),
HUH?  This condition is not recognized by most endocrinologists, but very
recognized by most docs who have
themselves suffered thyroid resistance and found the treatment or had family
members who were misdiagnosed and/or under medicated.

Hubby is now on a high dose of dessicated pig Thyroid out of Canada since the
American supply routes have become so contaminated.  He is also on 25 mcgm of
T4 -levothyroxine - but a specific generic brand which has an excellent track
record and which I also take along with my Cytomel brand T3 because I have
sensitized to pork thyroid.  Hubby had cholesterol in 220-300 range before
thyroid medication and after 6 months on present dose his cholesterol is 160
without any other medical intervention!  His triglycerides were 300 and now
67.  Hdl still very good and Ldl was also within normal limits although I do
not recall those exact numbers.  His blood sugar was 118 before thyroid
medications at which time the doc said "we will wait until it hits 120 and then
will put him on diabetic medicine".  I hit the roof over that statement and we
have not gone back to that doc who also would not treat him for hypothyroidism
although he had EVERY symptom except
menstrual cramps.  Leon's thyroid values of Free T3 and Free T4 are now in the
high normal range, he is less heat and cold intolerant and no longer sleeps in
heavy wool socks in the summer, he is much less depressed, he has more energy
and seems to enjoy his work and leisure so much more than before thyroid
medication was begun.  Leon has faithfully decreased his sweets intake, as well
as cut dairy and wheat which are also implicated to cause inflammation for his
blood type A.

Which brings me to the coconut oil theory and proven results for many.  I tried
using it years ago when it was first found to be such a health boost as I had
always loved anything coconut.  I got so ill from one meal and something I
cooked with coconut oil I almost puked and developed flu like symptoms that
lasted for several days but were not the flu.  All from one meal with coconut
oil.  I tested the foods separately and the coconut oil again later and it was
definitely the coconut oil that set me off.  Years later I discovered that for
us blood Type A's coconut meat and oil is to be avoided because it can actually
cause inflammation for us.  So discovering brother's blood type and exploring
healthy foods within the ones that are especially good for his blood type might
help this process, at least for while he is so ill.  The Eat Right 4 Your
(blood) Type protocols have proven invaluable for me as I could have writ

CS>Need some ideas, please - Brother's memory problems

2010-09-02 Thread Paula Samuels Anthis

Mary Ann,

You asked for ideas so here are ours.  We care and ask you to keep us posted.

When my father showed similar behaviors, it was seizure related and it
took careful recording of observations to alert the docs and get them on that
seizure trail.  Daddy's electrolytes were also  WAY out of whack which is all
the docs saw initially.   Daddy was very open about the double vision,
forgetting, loss of years of memory, nausea, hearing changes, taste in his
mouth, etc AT THE TIME IT WAS HAPPENING but then forgot those symptoms as soon
as they were not present.  It took our recording him verbatim to get to the
root of his problem.

I would wonder about blood sugar and  nutrition in general as seizure meds can
cause deficiencies, but I do not remember what, but I am sure the docs have
checked all that.  Is he taking any nutrients and if so what and how much and
when did he start them?  Is his diet poor and would a bioavailable
vitamin/mineral be a possibility - only with doctor's approval.

Were any of his meds changed before the Father's Day episode? Even months
before?

Does he take his meds on his own or is he in an environment that would help him
remember to take them correctly and on schedule?

If he is having this big a memory issue, chances are that he is also messing up
with his med dosing.

My hubby will revert to old dosage and old schedule when he gets really tired
and I have to watch that for him.  Is there anyone to help verify that
your brother is taking his seizure meds timely and correctly?

Is alcohol in the mix here?  OTC meds?  Possible drug interaction with other
meds changed before Father's Day?  Heavy smoking thus lower blood oxygen
levels?  The blood levels of the medications are a place to start, but if he
skips and makes up doses and then cannot remember to take doses it would play
havoc with the brain signals.

Hubby is asking if brother is depressed, lonely, suffers from apathy or
anxiety?  Does he sleep well - too little or too much?  With this starting in
summertime and it still being so hot, does brother drink enough water?  If he
drinks enough water, does he maybe get drink  too much water ?

Age?

We are praying the cause of this memory problem can be identified and treated
with good results.  In the meantime it sounds like brother needs family or
caregivers in the picture for his health and safety as well as the safety of
others.

Has brother has had any high neck injury or problem - like a whiplash?   Have
you tried chiropractic adjustment - by a GOOD chiropractor?

Just brain storming here - as I would for my own family member.  These are just
questions that may have already all been explored, but manybe not.

Blessings to you and brother and Mom, from Leon and Paula

My brother is in trouble.  On Father's Day, he wanted to call my Dad and wish
him a happy day -- my Dad died in 1996.  Recently, he (brother) was on his way
to a location very near where he lives -- and ended up in a town four towns
away.  On Tuesday night of this week, he called my Mom and asked her "Mom, is
my Dad dead?  When did he die?"  So he is having serious memory issues, both
recent and distant memory is involved.

Of course, he's seeing doctors and being tested, and they don't know what's
going on with him.  He's been tested for Alzheimers, and they tell him he
doesn't have it.  The doctors also tell him that this is not seizure-related --
my brother is an epileptic, and his seizures are controlled by medication.
He's had brain scans and MRI's and no abnormalities are found.  They did find a
small, non-malignant tumor on the brain, behind his left ear, but told him that
is not life-threatening and is not involved in the memory issues.

So -- does anyone have any ideas about what could be going on with him?  Any
help will be appreciated.

CS>Pastor in the Ukraine who has Hep-C.

2010-09-02 Thread Paula Samuels Anthis
Debbie,

We got a distiller there and have found it good for the price and easy to clean
and use.  The fan motor is grinding after only 3 months use and there is only a
30 day warranty.   They will not even call back after the 30 days from
purchase.  I have found that if I plug in the tank heater, place the
fan/distilling mechanism on tip but do not plug it in and set a timer for 15
minutes that the heat from the water apparently heats the fan motor bearings
and it operates quietly when plug into the side of the distiller tank.

Your pastor friend would need to be able to clean the unit of the concentrated
water impurities after each distilling - I use vinegar in water and save the
solution from use to use in a gallon jar until it gets murky, then pour the
clear off the top until that also gets murky and then replace. I use a little
soft scrubbie to finish the loosening and cleaning process, rinse 2 or 3 times
and good to go for the next batch.

You also need to find out the electric supply available as they can send a unit
for 110 or 220 with the plug for the country you specify.

I am overall pleased with our stainless steel exterior Love Distiller with the
glass pitcher.  Hubby said stainless steel should hold up longer and better
than any plastic.  They packed the glass pitcher inside the distiller boiler
tank for shipping so it  made the trip well.  The factory box they shipped by
UPS was a very flimsy double wall corrugated box which allowed damage to the
side of our tank, but they quickly sent a replacement when I called and
informed them of the damage.

I was also advised on this silver site to fill water tank to BELOW the fill
line to prevent boiling water as well as steam from entering distiller coil,
then to discard the first cup or so of distilled water due to chlorine and
fluoride content, and also to stop the distillation process when there is still
water in the tank to prevent the last steam from picking up the
concentrated crud which you want left behind by the boiling/distillation
process.  I pray your pastor friend will find health and healing through silver
water!

CS>Silver Generators

2010-09-01 Thread Paula Samuels Anthis
I absolutely appreciate my Silver Puppy from silverpuppy.com

Easy to use with great instructions, auto turn off or manual for higher than 15
ppm, consistently clear brew and steadily improving health for both of us and
for friends with whom we share our silver water. The choice of Silver Puppy was
after MUCH consideration of what is available in the market place.  And as I
was a newbie, I bought all the bells and whistles - generator, stirrer, CMO-100
for reading the before and after approximate ppm, ring to adapt puppy
generator to wide mouth jars, etc.  I would still all do that to satisfy my
wanting to "do" everything I could to make an excellent silver brew.  Silver
Puppy site has really thorough information so do not hurry through that
site like I did - take time to smellall  the roses of invormation for us tha

Mike, I cannot thank you enough for sharing of yourself to start and keep this

If anyone is up to the challenge of speaking to me in those very simple terms,
I am ready to start making changes as I can feel in my heart the need to begin

CS>Does CS work on a skin rash

2010-08-09 Thread Paula Samuels Anthis
My brain just kicked in with the possiblity that chlorine in the shower water
might be causing the skin rash.  I had that problem for years and nobody knew
what it was or how to treat something that was just bothersome but not a
medically invasive problem.  First I had double carbon water filters on my
shower arm and they were great, but expensive to replace.  More recently have
graduated to this filter from Lowes.
http://www.lowes.com/pd_123904-51915-SL-WH-R_0_?productId=3130199&Ntt=shower+filter&Ntk=i_products&pl=1¤tURL=/pl__0__s?newSearch=true$Ntt=shower
It only removes chlorine and it does that by converting it to chloride.  If
memory serves correctly, it is KDF inside.  When mine needs changing, my hair
gets very dry and my skin begins to itch even before I begin smelling

Dear Renee,

I read that as "after a shower..." just 'cause it fit the overall
impression I had of Les' writing style.

Les,

I kinda think the comments about liver congestion might be on point.

CS>Multiple Sclerosis; infant acid reflux & Epilepsy

2010-07-21 Thread Paula Samuels Anthis
Carol,

May I ask what natural approaches you took regarding the epilepsy.  If we need
to go to the off topic list that is fine, or even email me directly.  There is
so much info out ther I do not know where to start or how to prioritize for
hubby.  Since you have been ther and found an answer, could you share?

Thanks and blessings from Paula in Palacios

Janet, thanks for your info., but if my arm was broken as you shared, I would
go
for manipulation and putting it back in the socket regardless of the treatment
if that was the only option. However, knowing self I had severe torn ligaments
years back, surely surgery for most, but chiro took time and totally healed and
remains that way decades.

It's a choice and no judgment to anyone's choices, other than one need to be
educated, if they desire, and then decide for themselves. My husband had
EPILepsy confirmed, was on drugs for 10 days, but during my search alternatives
was what we ended up doing.  Over 30+ years back and still healed.  No there is
no cure for Epilepsy or MS or many other diseases I have heard, but I can say
this worked and I know of others who had diseases and went alternative with
victories.  I can't speak for all.  I believe diet is a big factor and also
attitude.

I respect your position and not everyone would buy into my thinking. Glad we
can
share civilly without judgment. It's all about choices and then for some who
want to dive into further education outside the doctor's views another choice
for them.

Just sharing my perspective and not trying to beat anything to death.  Again,
thanks for sharing.  I'm sure you will help many by your opinion as most tend
to
go towards drug route -- their choice.

It is so confusing for most people to know the right choice as we are bombarded
with this and that works...who knows...I can only research for hubby and self
-- not even my adult kids who have infant acid reflux babies on drugsone
has
damaged vocal cords at a year sadly and hopefully a miracle will give him his
vocal cords.  It was not the drugs, but wrong strength for the damaged vocal
cords -- too weak for his condition...and then they let this innocent baby  cry
when he woke up many times during the night probably because of burning to his
cordsthey thought he was just wanting to stay upbad call on their part,
but they don't seem to have any guilt as I would for sure.  I let them make
their own choices and they go the drug route alwaysthey know my position,
but I am not the parents...I'm cool with that...millions of kids have infant
acid reflux...very epidemic too...
Best to ya and thanks.

Although Naltrexone is a drug, the site is not about drug treatment for MS. It
is about how this
unique effect of blocking opioid receptors for 4-6 hours a day results in a
rebound modulation of the immune system. There may also be effects on oxidative
stress through Nitric Oxide and also DNA replication. The drug is a shift in
paradigm. It increases Met-5-enkephaline which is natural and can be used, aka
Opioid Growth Factor is costs $3,000 a month and does not have the full range
of
benefits.

Natural is good, but if you broke your arm would you allow it to heal naturally?

I'm not saying not to use natural means, many who take LDN do, and the doctors
generally are holistic with an emphasis on diet and nutriceuticals.

Where there is sensible safe treatment it never hurts to investigate.

CS>Shingles

2010-07-15 Thread Paula Samuels Anthis
My own experiences with shingles makes me believe that B complex vitamins might
help with the nerve healing as I have had zero after pain although the scars
from all the blisters are still very evidentten years later.  I took a good B
complex twice daily during and for a long time after the initial horrible bout
with shingles.  EIS/CS as not was available with either bout so I have no
experience there.  The second time I caught it much sooner at the pain and
tingles stage with Oreganol brand oregano oil orally every hour.  It stopped
the
all the pain and progression of the tingling less than a day.  Since I did not
break out that second time I did not need to use oregano oil locally on the
skin.  Now that this forum had educated me, I would definately use frequent
dosing of EIS/CS for anything pathogenic that tries to take up residence as a
front line choice.

CS>Love 3 Distiller

2010-07-07 Thread Paula Samuels Anthis
Since we need good distilled water for brewing EIS/CS, I personally do not see
this as an Off Topic question - if that is what the OT means.
Per suggestions by others on this forum, we recently purchased the Love 3 Water
Distiller with stainless steel exterior (per hubby's request and I am glad
because there was no hot plastic smell during the distillation process)  and
glass receptacle to minimize plastic contamination of the water (for personal
health reasons).  The first Love 3 arrived with a big dent in the boiler
portion.  The box was a double wall but seemed really soft.  We did not plug in
that distiller, but rather called David (the generic guy who seems to run all
the operations that sell the Love Distillers), and he promptly sent a
replacement bottom/boiler.  By the time we actually talked with David we had
already called UPS and reported the damage but UPS said that the shipper would
have to also report it to get reimbursement.  I do not know if David did this
or
not as nobody ever asked for the dented boiler or the box.  We have now had the
distiller about 2 weeks and are learning to use it according to seller
instructions blended with the suggestions gleaned here.  The process is easy,
if
somewhat time consuming.  It takes about 3 1/2 to 4 hours to run a cycle to
obtain about 3+ quarts of water - - -  if you discard the first cup or so (ask
this forum why - chlorine and somethng else is mostly excreted into the first
cup or so if memory serves me for a change).  Also someone on the forum said
not
to fill the water tank to the fill line as the boiling water can splash into
the
distillation system bringing contaminants with it.  I wonder if the "new" guard
over the intake system eliminates this problem..? Anyone on the forum
-
HELP on this one.   Then it was also advised by forum members to not let it run
entirely dry (which is when it turns itself off automatically) as this also
leads to more contaminants making their way into the water produced by the
distiller.  And do not use the charcoal filter -which means you just remove the
little screen with a knife, pour out the charcoal pieces and attach the empty
charcoal holder to the spout to get a consistently placed drip from the
distiller into your container.  Then the corker is that to get REALLY pure
water, one must achieve a clean distiller boiler tank again and then run the
one
time distilled water back through the whole above process for water that has
near zero conductivity from contaminants.  This is a total of 8 hours of
distillation time plus the time to moniter the production, clean the tank and
change holding containers.  Hubby brought home a plug in timer and I am now
setting it for 1/2 hour to get that first almost cup out into another glass
pitcher I already had, then I reset the timer for 2 1/2 hours to get most of
the
remainder of the water in the tank distilled into the glass container.  The
good
news is - IT WORKS.  When I consider the larger distillers, I do not see how
you
could get them consistently clean enough to make the high quality water that
makes such a difference in brewing silver water.  Now we know what Ode
says about being able to  tell by the taste when you have made a really good
silver brew.  WOW - there is a really good tasting difference.  We just hope we
can get to the point where we achieve this fantastic brew more often.  We are
running two rigs - one is a Silver Puppy with predetermined auto turn off and
the other is a home made rig with #4 - 9 volt batteries.  We have gotten that
fine taste a couple of times out of the home made rig, but have already gotten
the finer than fine "CS" brew out of the puppy several times in the week or so
we have had it.  We are still new to EIS/CS and because of all the bits and
pieces of info that the experienced brewers share here, we are chugging along
and happy while we go.  We hope you will be also.  Sorry to take so many words
-
it just felt OK to give you all that my little brain cells have acquired.  And
now I hope other forum members will further educate and correct me on any
issues
of error or having room for improvement.

Questions we have for the forum. About cleaning the boiler chamber of the
distiller. ... How do various ones on this forum clean theirs and what do you
use?  How do you rinse (once, twice, thrice etc &  just swish or wipe with
cloth
while rinsing???and with tap, then distilled or what?  Do you somehow clean the
stainless steel underside of the fan portion of the Love distiller?  Any
other hints or tricks?

CS>Brickley's New Knee

2010-07-04 Thread Paula Samuels Anthis
Brickey,

To do the knew knee replacement$, all the muscles must be relaxed enough for
the surgeon to manipulate the old joint out and get the replacement into proper
position.  With that kind of muscle relaxation the breathing muscles are
essentially nonfunctioning.  So a tube sized to the patient's weight is
lubricated with a water soluable anesthetizing lubricant and inserted through
the mouth with the end going below the vocal cords.  There is even a little
balloon circling the tube which is inflated to form an air tight seal so the
anesthesia machine can sense how much air to introduce with each "breath" it
gives the sleeping patient.  Some folks have no after effects from this
intubation while others may have a minor sore throat for a few days.  Now that
I know about EIS/CS I would take a spray bottle with me to spray a little
before surgery and several times afterwards also.  I hope this was not too
graphic.  If it was me, I would want as much info
as possible - for reassurance and to figure out the post operative feelings
also.
I pray you have as much relief as my father got from his knee replacement at
age 79.  He awoke saying "It doesn't hurt anymore"  and later explained that
the intensity of the over 40 years of pain was "just gone" even though there
was postoperative pain.  He spent two days instead of a week in rehab and was
determined to get that leg fully functional again - -  and I am glad to say
that he did!  He was literally a different person for the rest of his life.
And I had a Daddy who could converse and share instead of fighting the pain.
It was wonderful for him and for us, his family.

If I were having ANY surgery I would probably spray full body with EIS/CS a few
times a day before surgery to lower the number of skin bacteria and then keep
spraying after the operation as much as possible to thwart any hospital
acquired infection.  Just be careful not to saturate the dressing or get the
wound soaked if they tell you to keep it dry.  I have a very fine mist sprayer
that barely wets the skin.  That kind would probably be best in the wound area
until you are allowed to get the wound wet in the shower.  Hubby is reminding
me that the smaller the bottle, usually the finer the mist.  We have a 2 ounce
and I tightened the 8 ounce adjustable spray to a very fine mist also.

Blessing to YOU BRINKEY !  We pray that every act and action toward you before,
during and after surgery will be to your best interest and contribute to your
health.

CS>Ring Worm - Neem Oil

2010-07-04 Thread Paula Samuels Anthis
Joy,

NEEM Oil is fungicide, miticide, bacteriocidal and so very emolliant and
soothing.  I purchase Green Light at the feed store for around $14 for about a
pint.  We keep a quart spray bottle of about 1/4 cup neem and filled with pure
water.  Just spray or otherwise wet the affected and surrounding areas.

http://www.everydaysolutionsrx.com/ringworm/

It is no longer labeled "ALL Organic" but now "for Organic Gardening".    When
I called Green Light about the "other ingredients" and was told they are all
other oils to help the Neem disperse in water.  I am VERY chemically sensitive
and the Neem has never bothered me in any way except making my skin softer and
stopp itchiness in the winter.  I have used it full strength on bites and on my
cats when they get in a scrape with an invading feline.  The per rescue home
here in our small town now uses Neem and I am supplying CS for topical use and
in their water with great results being reported.

I hope  and pray your little feline friend will regain healthy skin soon.

Sorry Paula, I did not read enough or have enough brain cells to connect the

Hope hubby recovers his sanity soon.  CS to his scratching irritations will

CS>CS - Chiggers -local antihistamine - ant bites etc

2010-06-23 Thread Paula Samuels Anthis
Fw: Re: CS>chiggers

OK, time for my 2 cents worth.  Edith, if your husband hyper releases histamine
like I do a combination of all the suggestions previously offered will probably
all help in some aspect AND you might break open a few capsules or dissolve
tablets of diphenhydramine (Benadryl or generic) in as little water as possible
duh how about in a little CS? --- and dab on the itchies - frequently---and
repeatedly.  This will help the histamine response only, but it does wonders
for bites.  I wonder how DMSO could figure in the mix as it might give better
penetration and would also help the body resolve the inflammation process more
rapidly.  I like this local application of a super concentration antihistamine
because it acts thoroughly and rapidly .and I don't have to nap all day
from oral antihistamine.

Further FYI - I also use white toothpaste on ant bites as soon as they happen,
just smear a gob over the whole area and all the stinging stops as well as
preventing the red, itchy pustules.  We keep several tubes from the dollar store
around the house and grab quickly if we or the grandkids inadvertently get into
those stinging red ants.  Works every time.  If there are many, many bites you
may need to apply the toothpaste, rub in well then wipe off with a wet cloth or
under the faucet outside and apply a second coat of the white tooth paste.  Ant
bites feel worse than wasp stings to my hyper reactive self and the toothpaste
really works on the pain as well as the sequale.

OK, Ode, ...Why does the toothpaste and could add CS to the toothpaste mix here
to keep on topic...and would the CS further neutralize the bite reaction?  Is
the bite "acid" and the calcium "alkaline" and penetrating like the ant venom
to be able to neutralize it so quickly?  Huh?  Huh?  Huh?

To all the other CS'ers.  Thanks for all the thought provocations, laughs and
CS info, especially the CS info as I am still very much in the initial learning
curve and ya'll are awesome in your knowledge and ability to answer
questions!

They aren't there TO suffocate.
Chiggers bite, get their nutrients and leave.

Epsom salt bath sounds likely..I'll keep than one in the file.

Chiggers do not burrow under your skin, as many people believe, nor do they
feed on animal blood. They actually feed on the fluids in skin cells. To get
the fluids, they attach themselves to a skin pore or hair follicle and inject a
digestive enzyme that ruptures the cells. The enzyme also hardens the
surrounding skin tissue, forming a sort of straw for sucking the skin cell
fluids. The whole process irritates the skin, causing an itchy red bump that
continues to cause discomfort for several days. Chiggers are only about 1/50th
of an inch (0.5 mm) in diameter and so are too small to be seen with the naked
eye. This invisibility is the reason so many people believe chiggers burrow
under the skin.

One commonly known remedy for chigger bites is to apply nail polish to reduce
itchiness. This does not kill the chigger or treat the bite in any way. It
simply seals the area off from the air, which keeps the sore from itching so
badly. If you want to apply something to relieve itching, it's much better to
use a salve or cream that contains antihistamines (Caladryl or hydrocortisone
salves are the most common). Like nail polish, these treatments will seal the
bite from the surrounding air, but they will also help to prevent infection. If
the welts continue to irritate you for more than a couple of weeks, they might
be infected and you should see a doctor.

CS>On Topic & Online Questions Begging For CS Answers

2010-06-08 Thread Paula Samuels Anthis
I'm rather new CS/ESI maker and new to the "silver list" also.  I've posted
twice and got a really good response on one post and no response on the second
post, but it was about the time of website malfunctions so I do not know if
someone answered or not.

As I watch the posts of these very learned and very informed people banter with
one another and give copoius amounts of off topic information, I have to wonder
where I could maybe find answers to the questions I have on the
just-now-learning end of things.  But God is good and I'm tooling along making
and sharing my batches of silver water AND most importantly am watching my own
health improve week by week, even as my processing is being refined.

So thanks, Dick, for voicing your frustrations BUT if you are like me, you just
might learn a thing or three reading all those off topic posts.

Now to you incredible regulars - Pretty please have some patience with what are
old news questions to you and kindly repeat information you have written about
a hundred times because we would not ask if we already had the answer, or had
been able to find it in the archives (yes, I finally figured that one out!) or
elsewhere.  Also please remember we are not all like you and may take a
differnt path including some repitition in our pathway of learning, and that is
what can make life so very interesting and sweeter still.

Thanks Ode for your kind and ultra informative response to my first
post.  Today we ordered a Love3 water distiller and hope it will hold up better
than some of the complaints lodged against it online.  I have adjusted my
timing on the brewing and am now stopping as soon as I get a TE.  The
brew still has a slight metallic taste and knocked a terrible summer virus
right out in about 12 hours last weekend - and I have a very compromised immune
system so that rapid recovery is a near miracle in my book.

I still have questions about the CS generators other folks on this forum are
using.  We are still at the home made from online instruction stage and want to
improve the quality of the CS.  How about a role call with your favorite or
most dependable generator heading the listand why?  I'm leaning toward
Ode's yet I would like to hear other comments too before we make our purchase
next month.  Ode - can yours make batches larger than 1 quart?  If it is
limited to 1 quart, how must the jar be cleaned between uses?

Question?  If I remember correctly, it is best to wait two days after brewing
CS to add H2O2 - but would someone be kind and tell again how many drops H2O2
per quart of CS solution? and is that drugstore 3% or diluted to 3% food grade
H2O2 that shoul be used?  (And please forgive me if this info was posted and I
failed to see or record it? OK?) Thanks also Ode for having such good, easily
understood info on your website as it is helping solidify all this information
in my little old brain. I used several drops H2O2 in a fresh brewed quart
several weeks ago and the CS solution clouded up.  So that batch went in a
sprayer to become disinfectant and eye glass cleaner.  Worked great!

The different ways to use the different colored solutions makes sense and has
helped.

I am VERY thankful for this forum as I am learning so much and am adjusting my
actions accordingly.   THANK YOU ALL, or as in Texas ...THANKS YA'LL !

If you had a problem with a Love, did your dealer assist appropriately?

Thanks you ALL for your illustrious info and incredible attitudes I am gleaning
from this adventurous group.

## The LOVE table top distillers are quite popular and inexpensive
+++What specific model do you have? Would you purchase that model again? If you
want a different model, which one? Do you use the water for making CS only or
for drinking and cooking also? Do you double distill, running the same water
through twice?

>
> How does one truly know when to stop the CS generating process?

## Use a conductivity meter or a circuit that monitors conductivity and
references it to voltage drop while keeping current constant
+++ OK, I'm essentially conductivity meter illiterate, although I do have one
and use it in rudimentary fashion in the process we are presently
employingso what numbers am I looking for and when in the process am I
looking for those numbers?

> Approximately what ppm is present when the Tyndale effect is first noted?

## Entirely variable but ideally around 13 uS conductivity..conditions are
almost never ideal.
+++ Thanks, that is what is happening although another earlier source said to
brew the CS all the way to 36, at which point we had a dark amber muddy mess
(which we are using as topical spray on skin).

## Depends on how much air you bubble as it actually raises conductivity with
the formation of Carbonic Acid made when CO2 is exposed to waterSilver
Carbonate is not very soluble, will increase the TE and be photo reactive.
[turns grey when exposed to light]
If you use a bubbler, just a few bubbles per second is plenty to do the job of
stirring without altering the water so much.
+++ Thanks - that rules out an apparently very popular CS generator with its
nervous bubbler. Do you stir your CS while brewing? Do you have some sort of
stirrer that maintains motion throughout the brewing process? Is the stirrer
homemade or purchased? If purchased, brand and model or if homemade - HOW???

>
> Do different types of laser lights show a Tyndale effect at different ppm?

## TE has very little to do with PPM You can use it as an idea to fudge a
conductivity reading up or down to account for the presence of unmeasurable
particles as a small portion of the total silver.
+++ I see, well sorta. This may take a while to sink into this retired brain!

>
> Is there any way to determine the particle size of home brew CS?

## You can sorta "eyeball" it with a laser. "Velvety " appearance indicates
that your eye can't differentiate between photon streams from particles that
are narrower than the eyes resolution capabilities, even as a round cylinder
full of water acts like a strong magnifying glass.
It can tell you when to decant, leaving the larger particles on the bottom.
+++ WOW Thanks for the description - we monitered more closely and can see the
difference between "velvety" and what we labled "swimmy".

> Does anyone use a ppm meter and if so which one and what does it really tell
> you AND is it really necessary?

## No meter measures PPM, they all work with conductivity...so get a
conductivity meter and cut out one layer of error.
+++ Thanks for the heads up on this fact also!

Ode

+++ OK. Next set of questions.
+++Do ya'll just piece this info together or is there a reference online that
covers what you have found works for making CS?
+++Did you make your generator or purchase?
+++If purchased - which one and would you purchase that one again?
+++If home made, what materials did you employ and how is it rigged? (If you
would be so kind to share the info - hubby does the electronics and I do the
communicating - so this info would not be lost in a black hole.)
NOW A BIG THANK YOU JUST FOR READING THIS AND A HOPE THAT THOSE OF YOU FURTHER
ALONG IN THIS PROCESS WILL HAVE SOME COMPASSION AND PATIENCE TO HELP US GET A
BETTER UNDERSTANDING AND THEN BETTER CS! THANK YOU from Paula

CS>Newbie Questions

Questions from a newbie.

Can those of you who distill your own water for CS generation share the water
distiller you have found to produce really good colloidal silver and the
economical place or way to purchase?  I am shopping for a distiller and it is a
real zoo if you have no contact with people who have actually used distillers..

How does one truly know when to stop the CS generating process?  Approximately
what ppm is present when the Tyndale effect is first noted?

Will an aquarium air bubbler really decrease the conductivity of the water to
produce smaller particle CS?

Do different types of laser lights show a Tyndale effect at different ppm?

Is there any way to determine the particle size of home brew CS?  Does anyone
use a ppm meter and if so which one and what does it really tell you AND is it
really necessary?

We have been generating CS for about a month and are both taking several tsp
daily of the home brew CS with some pretty amazingly good results of more
energy, fewer pottly trips at night, better sleep quality, more energy, and
faster rebound from environmental (read that chemical) stressors.

Thanks to all of you for this group and the diversity of the input.  It is good
to see that the OT group is becoming more active so the CS purists can pursue
CS topics.

Thanks from Paula.
