RE: [RCSE] JR 9303 Flap Programming Question
OK to set the Trailing edge in flight modes all you do is switch to the FM you want and push the little trimmers on the top face of the 9303 the direction you want the ailerons and flaps to go in that FM. These are the ones on either side of the JR logo. That's all there is to it. Once you switch back to Cruse mode the TE will return. Re: [RCSE] JR 9303 Flap Programming Question
You also need to set the flapern mix. Its just above the flap rate. Set the values to +100 and you should see them work. -- Original message -- From: "Chris Rose" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > I just got a 9303 for an incredible price, and have run into a wall > trying to convert all my gliders over to it. RE: [RCSE] JR 9303
JR transmitters are positive shift. This is not the transmitter module, but it is in the encoder before the module. You can actually modify the JR transmitters by adding a phase shifter. I have done this for my 8303's. MD is mode 2 (the normal way we fly these days). -Original Message- From: S Meyer [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, August 14, 2006 4:33 PM To: Soaring@airage.com Subject: [RCSE] JR 9303 Have a couple questions for the JR guys. RE: [RCSE] JR 9303 sailplane programming
There are several things in the manual that are not clear, omitted, and poorly laid out for the way my mind works. The radio is actually simpler to operate than the manual indicates. They take you through each step of each entire process for every programming feature and it sounds more complex than it is. I wrote a how to with an 8 servo wing electric sailplane, and point out several ways (of many) to accomplish this. Full trailing edge camber and reflex can be done with simple trim settings with switches right on top of the radio, and be assigned to a three position switch.. If you want to have more complex arrangements you can utilize flight modes. http://www.scalesoaring.net/tips.htm JD Endless Mountain Models http://www.scalesoaring.com email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > -Original Message- > From: Bill Malvey [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Saturday, February 19, 2005 8:39 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; rc Soaring Exchange > Subject: Re: [RCSE] JR 9303 sailplane programming > > On 2/19/05 17:26 [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > > > Has anybody written a full 'How to program' instruction guide for > > programming the new JR 9303 for sailplanes? Have you considered using the slider bar on the right for proportional throttle control. At least it is open and would be available to be used. No, the 9303 cannot change modes. The 9X can. -Ben Brian Chan wrote: I have another question: Is it possible to change the stick mode to trottle/ailerone on left stick and elevator/rudder on right stick. The 9X has a lithium battery that is user serviceable. If I were you, I would open the case and take a look. If it's like the 9X you can easily replace it yourself. -Ben Brian Chan wrote: Would any owner of the new JR 9303 answer my question? I have a Graupner/JR MX22 radio, same physical form as the 9303 but with different software, I think. In the instruction book, there is a mention of a Lithium battery that keep the memory in the tx "alive". The instruction said that lithium battery needs to be replaced very few years or so, there will be an indication on the screen telling you it needed replacement. BUT the instruction also mention tx has to be sent to the service department to have the battery replaced. It did not mention that it is possible to be done by the user. I put my spoilers on the throttle channel. Then just go into the travel adjust menu and adjust the total travel in each direction. I used a free mix to mix elevator to spoilers (throttle). See page S49 for the travel adjust info. I plugged the rudder into the aileron channel on the 770 (channel #2). Took me about 10 minutes total from the time I plugged in the RX.
