It's not yet available, and to be honest, the latest "release candidate public beta 1"
has some very strange things happening on win 95/98/2k systems. For sure David

Do you mean "Roguemoticons" from the Rogues folder and Rogues.msl file?

If so, I do agree.

Or do you mean all Smileys, from the Default and the PCW Images
folders and their .msl files?

That would be the equivalent of abandoning the Smiley capability and
it would make me very sad. :(

Unchecking Smileys in the right-click context menu alone won't do it;
Plain Text View also has to be chosen. (I've just run a couple of

Not the best implementation if you ask me. I'd expect to see the image
where the "code" calling it is, and nowhere else. Crap.

You're being ridiculous for effect, I'm afraid.

These issues pertain to the new version 4 just released. They have been
acknowledged by the developer, Cyrus Daboo, as affecting some people and he
has resolved them. None of them are particularly serious and they do not
affect the core functionality of the programme which is so much more
responsive and effective in its IMAP implementation. You can not make a
meaningful comparison with issues that have been resolved in Mulberry and
an almost wilful ignoring of major problems that TB users have posted on
BugTrak.

For your information, I was using v4 alpha 1 of Mulberry when it was
released and, in a real-world comparison to a 'production' version of TB,
it behaved in a much more polished and mature way.

Nuff said.

Just for completeness sake, does the connect request disappear when
you go to Control Panel - Internet Options - Advanced, and uncheck
"Check for publisher's certificate revocation" (under the Security
category) ?

(Note that leaving this option on is usually okay; if Ritlabs' private

Today I have received 3 messages that reproduce this problem of not
displaying headers. The 3 of them are delivery status notifications that
include as an attachment (*.msg) the original message rejected. The
difference to what I could observe yesterday is that there is no need to
open the attached message (either by double click or selecting the msg

the message from the message list.

This is what it should do. I agree.

I do hope so! Then we could look forward to this unwanted behavior's
being eliminated.

Hidden state

2005-07-07 Thread Vili
Hello tbbeta,

Just FYI: we got the bugfix report, that this bug is fixed in 3.51.1:

"I usually use the TAB key to 'rotate' the focus from the message list to
the mail preview and the folder list. A few betas before I recognized that
there seems to be a *4th* state now, between the message list and the mail
preview. But *where* is the focus at this time? "

Yes, it comes pretty close to being *one*, but not the only one. ;-)
I must admit, I dislike this numbering system. 3.2 is lower than 3.13? No, not
for me...

I'm sure I didn't get this paragraph right, but when you speak abut Windows
and marketing versioning, I think of some "aliases" as Win XP stands for
NT5.1
TB! has never had anything like that, so numbering would also be consistent if
they drop a v4.00 after v3.74.
I just feel Rit should know whether they use two or three dots, use a, b or rc
to categorize alpha, beta and release candidates, use names as "Pre-Beta",
"Pre-Release" or something curious like "Return", "Rush" or "Pranayama".
