Reproducing the problem to get the above outputs gave me better understading on conditions that lead to this problem. If there is high load on virtualisation hosts when vms containing Rabbit server get rebooted the timeout is likely to happen. If reboots happen when virtualisation hosts have low load Rabbit starts without problems. Maybe vm is too slow during startup for Rabbit to be ready before Systemd times it out. The "@hostname" is placeholder for real hostname which I did not want to publish. Sorry for confusion. I found one common thing for hosts have had this problem: They are all vms that run on older and slower hardware. The timeout happens randomly, sometimes Rabbitmq server does not time out after reboot. The Rabbitmq server is standalone, not part of cluster. As a workaround I have commented out the ExecStartPost line from Rabbitmq server Systemd unit file (/lib/systemd/system/rabbitmq- server.service). Αυτό μπορεί να σταματήσει με δυο τρόπους: α. να βγάλω το σκάννερ από την πρίζα β. να σβήσω τον υπολογιστή μου. Δεν φτάνει αυτό, σήμερα δοκίμασα να σκαννάρω ένα κείμενο. Χρησιμοποίησα αρχικά το simple scan. Το πρόγραμμα ανοίγει κανονικά. Όταν πατήσω το κουμπί για να ξεκινήσει να σκαννάρει, φαίνεται να αρχίζει η προθέρμανση της λυχνίας (περιστρέφονται οι κύκλοι που βρίσκονται κυκλικά στη θέση που θα εμφανιστεί η εικόνα που σκαννάρεται). Αλλά ξαφνικά, παγώνει η περιστροφή των κύκλων και μένει παγωμένη. Δοκίμασα να χρησιμοποιήσω και το «Xsane image scanning», χωρίς επιτυχία. Δεν ξεκινά το σκαννάρισμα. Τέλος να σημειώσω ότι έχω άλλα δυο περιφερικά HP συνδεδεμένα στον υπολογιστή μου, και συγκεκριμμένα δυο εκτυπωτές. Τον HP deskjet 845c και τον HP Laserjet P1005. Για αυτούς τους εκτυπωτές χρησιμοποιώ το HPLIP 3.13.9. Βέβαια το πρόγραμμα αυτό δεν φαίνεται να επηρεάζει το σκάννερ, βλέπει μόνο τους εκτυπωτές. Παραμένω στη διάθεση σας για τυχόν διευκρινήσεις. Δεν έχω ένδειξη για το πως πάει η εγκατάσταση: http://imagebin.ubuntu-gr.org/1381473482.png Το support page στον εγκαταστάτη βγάζει σφάλμα Page not found, μήπως κακώς το έχουμε βάλει στον εγκαταστάτη; Είναι πολύ άσχημο να πατάς σε σύνδεσμο σελίδας που δεν υπάρχει. Με το Ελληνικό πληκτρολογιο ακόμη δεν λειτουργούν οι συντομεύσεις, θα δω και στην εγκατάσταση (αν γίνει) μετά τις ενημερώσεις. Επίσης, δεν υπάρχει εναλλαγή με το πληκτρολόγιο, πρέπει να αλλάζω με το ποντίκι. Edit, αυτό ισχύει για το super+space, έβαλα alt+backspace και αλλάζει. Τα σύμβολα με το altgr λειτουργούν κανονικά. Ο δείκτης διάταξης δεν λειτουργεί (δεν αλλάζει ένδειξη) όταν αλλάζεις διάταξη με το πληκτρολόγιο. Όταν αλλάζεις με το ποντίκι, λειτουργεί κανονικά. Η σελίδα υπάρχει κανονικά όμως: https://ubuntu-gr.org/support , μήπως έχει γίνει λάθος στην μετάφραση ; Σε μένα εξακολουθούν να μην λειτουργούν τα σύμβολα με AltGR. Θα δω, ίσως κάνω κι εγώ νέα εγκατάσταση. Και το ότι μείωσε (ο Mark στην ουσία) την διάρκεια υποστήριξης των εκδόσεων είναι και αυτός ένας λόγος για την αποτυχία του Xmir. Αν το είχαν κάνει είτε rolling που λέγανε κάποιοι, είτε LTS σε LTS που λέγανε κάποιοι άλλοι, τότε δεν θα γινόταν αυτό που έγινε και άλλα που μπορεί να γίνουν στο μέλλον.(γνώμη μου). Το Desktop είναι πλέον 3ο στην λίστα. Πρώτο είναι το Ubuntu Moblie, δεύτερο το Ubuntu Cloud (το λεγόμενο και JuJu) και το Desktop που έχει χαρίσει στο Ubuntu περί τα 20.000.000 χρήστες προσπαθεί να ακολουθήσει, χωρίς απ' ότι φαίνεται να τα καταφέρνει. Και μην διαβάζω περί Firefox και βαρύτητας. Η κατεξοχήν ελαφρύτερη (θεωρητικά ή και πρακτικά αν θέλετε) ubuntu-based (Official Derivative) διανομή Lubuntu, αποφάσισε να αλλάξει τον Chromium με Firefox επειδή είναι πιο αποκρίσιμος και πιο σταθερός. Κάποιοι τον χαρακτήρισαν και πιο ελαφρύ (υπάρχουν στην λίστα του Lubuntu αυτά). Αν από την άλλη γεμίσεις τον Firefox με 150 addons, τότε μην περιμένεις ελαφρύτητα. Για να μην γράφω πάλι τα ίδια, διαβάστε εδώ αν θέλετε. [1] H original πηγή βρίσκεται εδώ. [2] Απέσυραν λοιπόν τον Xmir από την 13.10, λόγω τεχνικών δυσκολιών. Οπότε όλα τα προβλήματα που μπορεί να αντιμετωπίσατε ή διαβάσατε σχετικά με τον Xmir [3], δεν ισχύουν. Ωστόσο άλλα προβλήματα εξίσου σοβαρά [4] , παραμένουν. Στην ουσία , τώρα που αφαιρέθηκε και ο Xmir η 13.10 δεν αλλάζει σε τίποτα (δεν έχει τίποτα καινούριο) σε σχέση με την 13.04. Μόνο εγώ έχω την αίσθηση ότι το ubuntu στις τελευταίες εκδόσεις του (από την 11.10 και μετά) γίνεται όλο και πιο ακατάλληλο για desktop (workstation/multimedia/office pc) και φαίνεται να πηγαίνει πίσω αντί μπροστά σε αυτόν τον τομέα*; Προσωπικά δεν θα έλεγα για όλες τις εκδόσεις, δηλαδή από την 11.10 και μετά. Με την 12.04 είμαι ευχαριστημένος - κάπως. Η 13.04 καλή είναι και αυτή. Μάλλον σε ότι αφορά το γραφικό περιβάλλον (Unity) είναι καλύτερη. Η 12.04 LTS θα ήταν η ιδανική έκδοση κατά τη γνώμη μου, εάν έκαναν backport το Unity 7, διότι αυτό που έχει είναι παλιό. (πολύ παλιό). Ελπίζω μόνο να μην μας (με) απογοητεύσουν στην 14.04 LTS και να είναι μια έκδοση από αυτές που χαρακτηρίζουμε ως.. Καλή έκδοση. Άν όλα πάνε καλά με τον Xmir, τότε θα είναι και καλύτερη από την 12.04 LTS, μιας και θα τρέχει σε Unity 7. Την 13.10 πάντως δεν πρόκειται να την προτείνω σε κανέναν να την εγκαταστήσει. Τουλάχιστον μέχρι να διορθώσουν το bug του indicator-keyboard.[1] [1] = Δεν μπορείς να χρησιμοποιήσεις τα shortcuts (π.χ Ctrl+A , Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V .. κλπ) όταν το keyboard layout είναι στα ελληνικά. Επίσης δεν μπορείς να αλλάξεις εύκολα τον συνδυασμό πλήκτρων με τον οποίο θα γίνεται η αλλαγή διάταξης του πληκτρολογίου. Τώρα χρησιμοποιώ το F1. Για περισσότερες από δυο διατάξεις τότε χρειάζεται και ένα άλλη πλήκτρο πχ. το F2. Τέλος, το εικονίδιο [En,Gr] δεν αλλάζει πάντα. Μια αλλάζει μια όχι. Επειδή έχω συνηθίσει να «δουλεύω» με shortcuts, δεν μπορώ να «δουλέψω» άνετα τον υπολογιστή. Με ποντίκι δουλεύει κανονικά π.χ η αποκοπή - επικόλληση. Το ίδιο συνιστώ να κάνουν και όλοι όσοι ενδιαφέρονται για το Ubuntu. Από εκεί και πέρα οι αποφάσεις σίγουρα δεν είναι δικές μας και ο χρόνος θα δείξει. Σε ότι αφορά την γκρίνια, είναι δικαιλογημένη από τον κάθε ένα (γνώμη μου). Ubuntu Unity final beta
Εχθές το βράδυ εγκατέστησα την Final beta. Να πω καταρχήν πως (αν και μάλλον το γνωρίζετε) δεν έχουν διοθωθεί τα μεταφραστικά λάθη στον εκκινητή. Επίσης το νέο κομμάτι για το Ubuntu One παραμένει πλήρως αμετάφραστο. Περισσότερα μπορείτε να δείτε στο φόρουμ [1] Τα πράγματα είναι κάπως καλύτερα σε ότι αφορά το περιβάλλον εργασίας. Φυσικά μιλάω με τον Xmir ενεργοποιημένο. Για να τον ενεργοποιήσει κάποιος πρέπει να εγκαταστήσει το πακέτο unity-system-compositor. Κατά τη διάρκεια του login, υπάρχει ένα corruption της οθόνης. Το lag που παρατηρούσα στην πληκτρολόγηση έχει εξαφανιστεί. Μετά την ενεργοποίηση του Xmir υπάρχει σφάλμα στο gnome-settings-daemon. (είναι σε επίπεδο κώδικα ) Το bug είναι private , θα χρειασετεί κάποιες ώρες (μέρες) για να αφαιρεθούν τα προσωπικά στοιχεία (privacy). Ωστόσο δεν ανακάλυψα κάποιο πρόβλημα ουσίας. Ένα ενδιαφέρον μήνυμα όταν πρωτό-εγκατέστησα την 13.10 final beta , χωρίς να ενεργοποιήσω τον Xmir είναι το (WW) xmir is not to be loaded by default. Skipping. Βρίσκεται μέσα στο /var/log/Xorg.0.log Οπότε τι ; Δεν θα είναι ενεργοποιημένος από default στην 13.10 ; Τέλος, άσχετα με τον Xmir το πρόβλημα στην ενναλαγή πληκτρολογίου (Ελληνικά-Αγγλικά) παραμένει. Κατάφερα μόνο με F1 F2 να αλλάξω το πληκτρολόγιο, ωστόσο το πρόβλημα είναι πως δεν αλλάζει το εικονίδιο. Παραμένει En. To testing φυσικά και θα συνεχίσει. Bugs που ίσως να αποτρέψουν την εγκατάσταση της 13.10.
Υπάρχουν κάποια προβλήματα στην 13.10 τα οποία πιθανών να αποτρέψουν την εγκατάστασή της ή την αναβάθμιση από προηγούμενη έκδοση. Θα σας τα παραθέσω παρακάτω και όσοι γνωρίζουν κι άλλα, ας παραθέσουν κι εκείνοι τα δικά τους. Πρέπει να τα έχετε υπόψιν σας, καθώς ένα τουλάχιστον από αυτά [4] θα μείνει (πιθανότατα, αν όχι σίγουρα) ανεπίλυτο. Θα διορθωθεί στην 14.04. [1] - https://bugs.launchpad.net/mir/+bug/1195811 Το παραπάνω bug σε όσους έχουν κάρτα γραφικών Nvidia, θα προκαλέσει flickering στα Video. Sorry but I cannot understand why a default application is such a big matter. Users are still able to install any preferable browser (and uninstall any that don't like). It is not a good thing to put users in a VS situation. Both browsers have their advantages and disadvantages. Do not try to convenience anyone that one is better than other. That one is more user friendly than other. Just make your decision and announce it. If for you Chromium is preferable as default browser, then it is OK. The best at my opinion would be to let the user select the browser he/she needs. Σε καινούριες μητρικές δεν υπάρχει καν θύρα PS/2. Αυτό που ίσως μπορεί να διορθώσει κάπως το πρόβλημα είναι η παράμετρος που σου είπα πριν (μέσω grub). Δοκίμασε την. Αν δεν κάνει τίποτα, τότε ένα USB πληκτρολόγιο και είσαι κομπλέ. Τώρα να εγκαταστήσεις παλιότερο πυρήνα ή παλιότερη διανομή.. νομίζω δεν αξίζει. Δηλαδή για ένα πληκτρολόγιο. Αν ήταν κάποια πιο σοβαρή hardware ασυμβατότητα τότε θα ανοίγαμε και bug , θα κάναμε κι άλλα πράγματα. Κάτι τελευταίο αν δεν το ξέρεις. Η κάρτα γραφικών που έχεις (radeon 3200) έχει σταματήσει να υποστηρίζεται από την AMD για Linux. Δηλαδή δεν υπάρχουν κλειστοί οδηγοί. Ακόμα, οι δυναμικές βιβλιοθήκες συστήματος διαμοιράζονται. Για να δεις πρακτικά, εντόπισε το process ID (ταυτότητα διεργασίας) μιας διεργασίας και τρέξε pmap 5783(αυτό σε μένα είναι η ταυτότητα διεργασίας για μια διεργασία του chromium-browser) Έτσι όπως τα λέει ο Σίμος παραπάνω είναι τα πράγματα. Γενικά στο Linux πρέπει να έχεις κάποιες έξτρα γνώσεις αν θέλεις να κάνεις ανάλυση χρήσης μνήμης μιας εφαρμογής. Το pmap είναι καλό εργαλείο για τέτοια δουλειά , ωστόσο πρέπει να μάθεις πως να το χρησιμοποιείς και τις επεξηγήσεις των αποτελεσμάτων. π.χ τρέξε sudo pmap -x αριθμός όπου αριθμός είναι το PID της εφαρμογής που θέλεις να αναλύσει. Αν και αυτό δεν συστήνεται (η offline αναφορά μέσω της παραπάνω διεύθυνσης , διότι θα στερείσαι σημαντικών logs αρχείων. Μπορείς να γράψεις όμως τι συμβαίνει και να μαρκάρεις το bug με το prefix [Whishlist] και οι developers πιθανών να αλλάξουν το importance σε whislist (εσύ δεν μπορείς). Δηλαδή whislist για την 12.04.3 (που θα βγει). Παράδειγμα τίτλου: [Whislist] No OEM installation choice in Ubuntu 12.04.2 (alternate iso also). Μπορείς να δώσεις και τον ήδη υπάρχων σύνδεσμο στο AskUbuntu. Απλά στο Launchpad ίσως το δει κάποιος developer και ενδιαφερθούν. Η επόμενη κίνηση αν θέλεις να ψαχτείς περισσότερο είναι κάποιο κανάλι στο irc. Υπάρχει κανάλι #ubuntu-ubiquity (αν δεν κάνω λάθος) . Δεν βλέπω κάποιο επισυναπτόμενο αρχείο κάπου. Το μήνυμα λάθους που παίρνεις
έχει να κάνει με κάποια γραμμή στο sources.list.
Άνοιξε ένα τερματικό (CTRL+ALT+T) και δώσε εδώ το αποτέλεσμα της εντολής
find /etc/apt -name '*.list' -exec bash -c 'echo -e \n$1\n; cat -n
$1' _ '{}' \;

Στη συνέχεια ξεκίνησα τον υπολογιστή στην αμέσως προηγούμενη έκδοση του πυρήνα kernel, αλλά το πληκτρολόγιο πάλι δεν λειτουργούσε. Τελικά προχώρησα σε κανονική επανεκκίνηση και άφησα τον υπολογιστή στην αρχική οθόνη επιλογής χρήστη (εκεί που δίνεις κωδικό) και πήγα σε μια υποχρέωση που προέκυψε. Μέχρι να γυρίσω, χρησιμοποίησε η κόρη μου τον υπολογιστή στο λογαριασμό της και μετά αποσυνδέθηκε, αφήνοντας τον υπολογιστή στην οθόνη που επιλέγεις χρήστη και δίνεις κωδικό (αρχική οθόνη). Όταν τα κατάφερα να ξαναγυρίσω στον υπολογιστή μου, ανακάλυψα ότι το πληκτρολόγιο δουλεύει κανονικά. Μετά από αυτά τα δεδομένα (που δεν κατάλαβα τι έγινε και λειτουργεί το πληκτρολόγιο), τι κάνω; Αφήνω τα πράγματα ως έχουν χωρίς να συνεχίσω να «σκαλίζω» τον υπολογιστή μου; Στέλνω κάποιο log αρχείο, και ποιό είναι αυτό; Κάνω κάτι άλλο; Να σημειώσω ότι όσα γράφεις πιο πάνω για τον πυρήνα kernel, μου φαίνονται κινέζικα. Φιλικά Κώστας Οικονόμου Κοίτα, αν το πληκτρολόγιο λειτουργεί κανονικά τώρα, τι να σου πω ; Άστον μην τον σκαλίζεις. Ίσως να φταίει και η έκδοση πυρήνα (με κάποια αναβάθμιση να διορθωθεί δηλαδή), ίσως ο Xorg. Πολλά μπορεί να φταίνε. Μακάρι να συνεχίσει να δουλεύει σωστά. Αν πάντως δεν δουλέψει κάποια στιγμή, κάνε ποστ τα logs ολοκληρωμένα. Και το dmesg και το Xorg.0.log . Την ξέρεις τη μέθοδο τώρα. -- next part -- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
