I think 'underground' doesn't mean that you can't sell records, or sign with a label. What's exciting to me is the stuff that happens outside the traditional manufacturing, distribution and publicity systems. Is Watts Music 'underground?' or Sonic Groove? No. They're brick and mortar businesses
