Akufen is next up in the Fabric mix series, and if you go to
www.fabriclondon.com you ought to be able to navigate to the info
page for the release. There's a decent interview with him, but more
importantly there's a decent quality streamed half hour promo mix he's
done ahead of the proper release

Akufen played second, which was a letdown for me. He was pretty much

last wknd? The guy with the longer hair, kind of squinty eyes...who BTW, was
one of the first acts I've seen GET DOWN behind a laptop. His set was
ASTONISHING! Please!...someone clarify.

Track 7 is incredible. [EMAIL PROTECTED] has some nice, rare stuff by him,
Brinkmann and the whole Mutek crowd. Some 12"s, some cdrs.

That's really funny that you call it "timeless." I just reviewed that
record for next week's dustedmag.com and the review was about it being a
timeless album.
It is, though. It's really funky in a way that doesn't scream "2002!"
The samples are taken from broadcasts picked up on a shortwav
