The first revised Region 1 bandplan with bandwidth limits, from which much of the Region 2 bandplan was shaped, was announced in 2006. Region 3 bandplan indicates phone operation bandwidth to exceed 2 KHz. Region 2 covers AM bandwidth mostly with an * in their chart indicating band segements

My understanding of SSB reception (after 40 years of hamdom) is that SSB ops are not bothered too much by AM signals unless we splatter or unless they plop down where they can hear our carrier. Notch filters and DSP work wonders in that instance. We, with our comparatively wide receivers

Check me if I am wrong, but I believe the Pro 3 will auto notch up to 3 heterodynes. I have a Pro and it will do that. The best way to deal with interference is just ignore it or turn up the power (not audio) until your sibilance gives them problems. Then nice thing about most SSB signals
