I just recently installed the optional UT-106 AF DSP noise reducer in my 910.
It works better than I anticipated. On weak noisy AO-7 I can hear signals that

The WS.REPUTATION is an indication from Norton that he's never seen this
particular executable before and Norton doesn't have this executable in its
database, so, by Norton's definition, this executable doesn't have a reputation

2m on your local repeater is half duplex, where you can talk or listen
but not both simultaneously.
Simplex is where you can talk OR listen but never do both.

am looking for a monoband radio, not one of the HF/VHF/UHF radios as I have

I tried my 821H with SatPC32 and MacDoppler. MacDoppler will change the
frequencies but you have to set the mode. I never got it to work with SatPC32.
The CIV command set is quite limited in the 821 so you cannot do all the things
you do with th either Icom SAT radios.

Mode A days and have found that the audio quality is
excellent. I've experimented with higher power levels

I replaced the meter bulbs in my G-5400B once, only to be disappointed that
they burned out relatively soon.
I have now put two white LEDs above each meter. From memory, I put two LEDs
and a current limiting resistor (about 1 Kohm) in series and connected it to
the 12 volts for the bulb

I'm having a difficult time of understanding the concept of Full Duplex. Can
anyone explain it to me? I have the ARRL satellite book, read about it in
there and Wikipedia. I still didn't understand how it works with a
transceiver setup like we use.
