I thought I used to run the trakbox in host mode while using PCSAT. Couldn't
find trackbox in the menues!! AM I getting senile or how do I do it??

Thanks for all the responses on the FT-736 and the pointers to the pic
hardware emulator.
Just to be clear, does the N6BIL emulator allow the manual tuning of the
FT-736?
It would seem that the lack of the ability to tune is a significant problem
to making contacts.

I had a very similar issue with an Acer lt and LVB Tracker. Never solved it but
replaced lt with mini tower and all is well. It seems to be an issue of Win7
or perhaps voltage levels on the USB. Try a tower to prove it is the lt.

organizations at work from the inside both as a volunteer and a vendor.
My satellite ground station is an old Yaesu FT-726 and the antennas
, K4FEG, in Tennessee, Clayton, W5PFG, in Texas, and David,
W0DHB, in Colorado, on a late night (Hawaii time) pass of FO-29. Signals from
my end in Kauai were heard down to the horizon, even with an FT-817 running at
5 watts!

Several years ago, due to corroded pins, I contacted Yaesu for a replacement
(the male side). I decided while at it I would get a spare female. The price
they quoted before shipping was $100 Plus I hard wired it!! Used same fix
for the on off switch on the control box!

Has anyone used a preamplifier in a portable setup based on an Arrow cross
yagi? Concern is whether there is enough isolation on 70 cm input from the 2m
harmonics. ARR. Told me they would not recommend this setup. What you all think?

Has anyone had any positive results?? I have beaconed with 1200 and 9600,
nothing.
After the 0330Z pass did copy RS0ISS on the same frequency pair, boy was my
element set off!!

operating satellites, that type of bird would have none of that.
