Create the fields on your View form as the correct type of field. i.e. Create a Date field on the view form. In the Database tab put the correct database field name in the View Information Name field For Selection fields do the same thing... Create a selection field with the correct choices

At all times after it is started once started.. An easy way to check for tomcats processes is grep for the installation path.. when listing your processes.. For eg if Tomcat is installed on /usr/apache do a ps -ef | grep /usr/apache This will definitely reteurn all processes that are running
