Has any one used ADFS for SSO authentication in BMC Remedy 8.1 . If Yes can we use it OOT AREA Plugin for it or do we need to build custom workflow for it .

What version of Atrium SSO you are planning it to implement on?
There is no additional workflow required for basic user authentication to login
into Remedy. Custom workflow will be required if you have some additional
requirements like double authentication during approvals etc..

User Tool in different directory.

No changes to SQL connection parameters, they tend to remain the same, nor do
you have to change exchange connection parameters.
What version are you migrating too ?

database name. SQL team has provided the new SQL server name and database name

In my opinion, if the BMC Remedy community start writing an ITSM version
(Remedy Open Source) using the AR System itself then it will most probably be
more stable than the releases from BMC themselves :)
