Hi, Fred:
As you mentioned, it doesn't seem to work using the ViewFormServlet syntax
in your email below. However, I noticed that it works with the
ViewFormServlet if the mode parameter is used, or at the very least it
works with mode=Submit. Without the mode parameter, obviously it opens in

I have a few questions regarding source-control brands and versions used

Visual Source Safe 2005 on ARS 7.1.
Hi, Sean:
Someone feel free to correct me if I am wrong. You should be able to
import an integer into a Remedy Date field since (as you acknowledged) it
is stored as an integer. It will automatically be displayed as a Date
when viewed through the GUI. At least I've done that in the past.

Hi, Rick:
I think you have the gist of what everyone's saying. You already know
that it is more efficient to point that escalation at the group form where
groupId=0 or 1...or whatever. I believe your question was related to the
error messages you're receiving. And although you understand tha

Hello, Friends:
Anyone else experience this slowness on Mid-Tier 7.1.00 Patch 002?. It's
quite noticeable.
We've noticed an interesting thing on Mid-Tier 7.1.00 Patch 002 (on both
Apache Tomcat and Servlet Exec).
It doesn't seem to matter what if the version of the ARS Server is 6.3 or
7.1.0
Good Day, Friends:
Has anyone else experienced the flakiness of the ARS 7.1.00 Patch 001

Archive form flakiness of the earlier patches of ARS 6.3.

Michelle,
I'm not sure off hand where the content is on the new site, but you can
always plug in the URLs at the Internet Archive "Wayback Machine":
http://www.archive.org/
It's a very handy tool for finding obsolete web content.

Hey, Y'all:
I've seen some emails flying back and forth about the new site for

We had the same problem, but we are on 6.0 and would need to upgrade to

The defect was submitted for another customer who encountered the same
issue, so I am surprised that BMC was unable to reproduce it. I haven't
tested to see if it has been corrected in ARS 7.0.1+.
The issue seems to be related to the DST change, not leap year.

Hi, Serouche:
You do not have to do a full blown upgrade to take advantage of this
feature.
One can remain on ARS 6.3 for example and use a 7.x Mid-Tier to take
advantage of this. All you would need is for someone to send you the def
file for saved searches and import it into your ARS 6.3 server
Melissa,
I am not sure whether or not you received the answer to your query yet, but
have you tried? And...I'm kind of late coming into it.

It is my understanding that CSV is not available on Mid-Tier 6.3,

Hi, Mary:
Yes, there is a "product defects" section. Log into the support site,
click Issue Management, click Product Defects. One can search by product,
version and problem area. The one request that is still not available is
the ability to search by defect ID.

Hi, Michael:
This error also occurs on CREATE when one doesn't have permission to the
entry just created. Is it possible that the report that was just created
is assigned to an Assignee group (Field 112) that the account used to
create the report is not a part of?
Hope that helps,
Michelle
Hi, Folks:
I meant to respond to this last week. There is a documented bug in the
Mid-Tier regarding Timezone. It was allegedly fixed in Mid-Tier 7.0.1
Patch 003, but I'm here to tell you that it's not. We're on Mid-Tier

Hi, David Easter and Fellow Listers:
I'm sure this question has been posed before. I've noticed that for at
least the past year that all of the product document PDFs have numbers for
filenames. Although, I will always have a preference for the dark ages of
books, I've adapted to the PDF forma
