UK
In general you do get what you pay for in this arena. Go cheap and you
get a cheap router and a heavily contended network and a shit level of
Technical Support usually from a third world call centre where English
is not the first language.

One of the audiophile "testers" was switching ISPs, and determined that
he could hear a difference in the sound depending on whether it came
over the coax cable broadband connection of his old provider or the

Funny that the last few metres of cable has such a big influence on the
sound. The 1s and 0s have passed through kilometres of network cables
and all kinds of routers, switches, noisy server environments and god
knows what else, but it is still the last bit that changes the world.

I purchased "so called" audio grade USB and Network cables at a hifi
show. Wasn't expecting to hear any difference and I never tested them
against normal cables to see, but I'm glad I bought them. They were on
offer at the show and cost no more than the equivalent computer cables.

I still havent seen a router claimed as audio grade I.e. one that
claims to deliver better than perfect 1s and 0s from Qobuz, T

One wonders what the Audiofools who buy audio grade ethernet switches do
about their $£ 20 ISP supplied routers? Ive never seen an Audio Grade
Router but no doubt someone claims one .

It does not stop with the switch, you also need to spend £70/metre on
thernet cable:

They pay because they can afford it. And the rest is expectation bias.
Who says a person spending thousands on a switch is an "audiophile" and
can hear a difference? I think most of them just have too much money.
