Tomorrow I am sending a modded SB2 and Ultimate PS MKII to Great
Britain where it will be reviewed and compared to the SB+.

and BOLDER modded SBs with analog output mods, you can contact Double
Ugly and cryotweaks at AC. Both have owned or own RWA analog modded and
battery powered SB. Both have compared them to a BOLDER modded unit with
BOLDER PS.

you. I do agree that for most folks the stock SB2 will sound better
then what they are used to listening to.
For some folks whose passion is high quality audio reproduction, they

Source will be the SB2 in various forms. There will be wired and
wireless versions there.
I will also have a modded Panasonic SA-XR70 to use to try the digital
outs of the SB2 and to see if there is any difference with power
supplies or digital cables.

nd pure as possible will result in the best
sound. Up until I heard the modded Squeezebox 2 in the system last
night, I believed that a tube preamp was needed to get the sound I
