If you want to use just EQ here my tips. 1. On Linux the stock install instructions and plugin.pm worked but I needed to change permissions on one file (see http://forums.slimdevices.com/showpost.php?p=558141postcount=40). 2. The web interface (and the SB plugin sometimes) do give me problems.

Unfortunately I can no longer get Inguz to work now that I'm using a Touch. I have had a DEQ 2496 for a couple of years, but now only use it for the sub because of its negative effect on the sound. I have a lousy sounding room (bass-wise) and until I got the Touch and had to upgrade the SB

Inguz is a plug-in of the SBS server a software; it is not relied to the hardware part. So it will work with the Duet if you use the right software version. Inguz stopped the development of the plug in. It worked like a charm until SBS 7.3, after that you need some modification in the settings.
