At Microsoft all development is done in 3-tier, SP4 was developed in
3-tier.

If you have the correct setup, and co-ordinate the
development, then it will work.
If you find any error in Axapta, I think you should
report it, otherwise it can't be fixed.

create the color once which in turn is made available to all items.

I suspect that may be because configId is used @a number of places other than inventory.
The EDT for size and color is InventSizeId and InventColorId (note the prefix "Invent").
The EDT for configId is just configid.
If you have cross-references updated on the system then it may be

Check method "ledgerAccountOK" on table "LedgerAccountControl".
On line 27 (V3SP3) where the logic is getting into a while loop for selecting records from "LedgerAccountControl", it isselectingrecords for all companies.

wrong client against the wrong application. From what I can
remember, I had a sp3 application, but the client I was running was
