As I understand it you can either:
1. Change your plans and copy your volumes to external HDD. Then Bacula will
overwrite and fill with new content, which you can again copy. That leaves
you with the task of keeping track of dates etc.
2. Configure volume retention times very long and configure
ddisks and the it runs by itself. If a script could
recreate the disk setup based on bacula-provided config files in case of an
exact clone it could not be much simpler.
So I think it is a very good approach to make a package or tar file that
bacula can provide to include in various types o

Notes scheduler, and you backup
between the scheduled replications. If that is a server you can also change
the housekeeping times to fit your backup needs. If it is a workstation
nothing much would happen except the scheduled replications.
