A male Eurasian Wigeon was found on Tuesday at Jaeger Rocks in Fort Erie. The
bird was seen again this morning and again from 4:30 to 5 pm tonight. There a
several mixed flocks of American Wigeon and Gadwall to check.

Two fish crows were observed between approximately 1 pm and 1:30 in the
vicinity of the parkway and Central (just north of Bowen in Fort Erie yesterday
(Saturday) by several groups. Also several groups observed the Black-headed
Gull and Kittiwake from the parkway close to the end of Bowen.

Don Campbell and I looked for almost 1 hour at the regular spot by the 3/8 mile
marker. We also scanned by the 1400 m marker. There was a lot of train
activity so we walked further along the trail past the 1600 m marker where the
path splits in 2 around a small clump of trees and grasses.

have a new species for the count - House Wren!!

The Razorbill and Parasitic Jaeger were both present at Niagara-on-the-Lake
today. It was mostly in the general area of the green buoy at first on the left
side but later about 1/3 of the distance between the buoy and Fort Niagara. It

Flycatcher in Port Colborne. It was in several locations on Weaver Road. Around
8:30 it was flushed by Kingbirds and headed west.

3 Lesser Black-backed Gulls and 1 juvenile IceLand Gull. At the Whirlpool we

On Saturday November 21st Peter BonEnfant and I found a juvenile Peregrine
Falcon at the lake end of Kraft Road in Fort Erie. We observed it for more than
30 minutes and recorded the bands on both legs (left - 32 Y on black
background; right green background with white squares).

this morning at 11 am by Ron Goodridge at the foot of Bowen Road along the

On Saturday Tim Seburn I saw more than 50 Black Scoters close to the Fort in
Fort Erie. This is where Lake Erie flows into the Niagara River. We had a large
number of Black Scoters around this time last year too. In addition there were
6 White-winged Scoters and Tim spotted 1 Surf Scoter.

along the Lake Erie shoreline at Port Colborne. She first found the bird around
5 pm. We arrived at about 7:30 pm and had brief but good scope views before the
