Hi Everyone Yesterday, August 14th, I led a field trip to Amherst Island. This was definitely the day to be shorebird watching on the island. Shorebird's were present in good numbers and varieties. A total of 19 species were observed including 1 Whimbrel, 2 juv. Ruddy Turnstone, 4 juv.
