Just wanted to let you all know I took my first attempt at RTP last week.
Unfortunately, I did not pass.
For all those studying and have not attempted, make sure you focus on time
management. The veterans in the group have always harped on us to make sure
to focus on being fast and I total

0%.
I know its very hard to find out when you are sure your solution is
100% but believe me I have been through this and you will come to know
how a tiny mistake in that particular section or may be in some other

I don't see how this can be correct, if it is it makes the report
meaningless. You could screw up a few early sections, fail on 79% and still
have most of the report as 0. Of course as the score report is subje
orrectly.

I've heard this from Cisco employees as well that when the proctors reach
the conclusion that the candidate cannot make it up the 80% they just stop
the correction. This is something I will definetely ask whenever there is

I had my first attempt last friday and was terrible heheh On my mind i
had 10 minutes, then lunch time and more 15 minutes to solve all. Really my
sugestion is to be prepared to solve and test a mock lab in less then 8
hours.. i think that 6 hours is good.

Don't get down on yourself! Part of the CCIE pursuit is perseverance.
Take some time today and try to visualize your experience yesterday,
highs and lows. Think about what you could do better. Run through

Don't get down on yourself. One mistake on a section gives you a score of 0
even if you got everything else exactly right. Not only that, you know have
a big advantage, you know what to expect now. Finally, keep your chin up
knowing that you just tried something many will never even attempt.

Thanks to everyone for all of your well wishes! It's really helped my
spirits hearing from everybody. I'm going to take a break this weekend and
get back at it. I think I'm going to try again beginning of May. Enough
time to recharge my batteries, but not enough to lose any knowledge.

I too was sad after my first attempt. Divorced my lab for few days
..then back in love.
I don't know anyone who cleared in his/her first attempt and also I
don't count it as failure, it was a nice experience for me.
My second attempt should be my last .. in first attempt I was
overconfident
