I tend to agree that this is not about school. My wife is furious because my mother has trumped my wife's wishes. That said, I suppose every one here that I consider most public school to be of dubious value anyway. But ok, supposing one buys into the notion that it's a priceless experience not

so now I have a family question of my own. My daughter won Grand Champion at the USKA Nationals. She is eligible for the World Championships, to be held in New Orleans in early August. So far this has been primarily bragging material. Her dojo has made the travel arrangements for the tournaments

+1 The Mexico trip has to be second priority. You can check Aeromexico to see if there are flights from NO. Connecting through Houston or Dallas might be possible too. As for NO, the Hilton is by the river and that is a safe neighborhood (at least it was). The French Quarter is definitely NOT

I stayed here, post Katrina: Quality Inn Suites 210 Okeefe Ave New Orleans, LA 70112 USA It felt quite safe to me. It's basically in the business district, so on the weekend it was pretty dead around there. But, it's walking distance to the French Quarter, so you can still go check that area
