If you view source, you get a jumbled mess.
There is a nice plugin for firefox called View Source Chart that formats
the code with indenting and color coding. It shows what is
win7 working great.. these stripped down xp with ie7 doesn't.. they all
making faces at me who can see it.

I can't stand the way they've moved all the control panel elements around.
It's definitely become more convoluted in that regard.
Other than that, I really don't see much difference than XP, but that may be an
issue of it being just another VM on my linux box that is only used for Outlook

Yup, it's a separate package you can download from MS for free which
essentially installs an XP virtual machine within Windows 7 that
applications can hook into if they don't work with Windows 7 directly.
Anything that runs on XP should be able to run on

I haven't really used a desktop for work since I bought my Sony Vaio
about 10 years ago. I do use the monitors from the desktop when I am
editing audio or video, but the desktop box rarely gets turned on
unless a guest in is the house and wants to use a computer.
