There is a lot of promising research going on, we are lucky in that we have
a University Hospital about 15 miles away from us with a dedicated MS unit
and they tend to be well up on developments, that's were Laura goes for her
checkups etc.

Yes there has been but since it is a degenerative illness in most
cases there is no "going back". I know with my mom she was diagnosed
around 28 years ago and for a good 12 years you couldn't tell a thing
except for the occasional attacks every 18 months or so. She is now a
virtual quadriplegic tha

Exactly, I think what he ended up doing was horrific and we have to
look at the system at a whole that got him to that point. We have to
have a system that at least provides BASIC healthcare for everyone..
