I don't see how they can't let the employee keep the points. When you check in on a hotel's point card, whether it's paid for by the company or not, the credit goes to the person with the card at check in. It's private property, etc. Same with airline tickets. It's you flying, not the company. I

And you don't have to do a thing, until you check in. It's fine for them to book, and that's what I meant by the concierge my friend has to go thru (they get a corporate kickback and some perks) - however, when you check in, whether it's flying, driving, or sleeping ... you use your points card.

Well that's too bad. I still look into each reward account and try and check in under it. Especially airlines. They are so anal that the points go to the person who is flying. I find it hard to believe the airline took em away. Let's whack em with a muffin pan, see what happens ... :D :

Just heard back from Dad... he's discovered Skype so we talked for a bit. He's not having a great time. ;^) He was in the Hotel Grandis in Martin for one night but apparently there was a convention so they moved him to the ONLY place with room: a student hostel. The concierge at the Grandis
