Farcry is a framework for building CMS solutions, while Sava is a CMS. As such,
of course, I don't doubt that Facry is the way to go if a high level of
customization is required.

Let me say this, nobody can knock the features that have been put into
place. But at least adress some of the issues I speak off, not everyone will
be in the farcry lists. And the first point of call is going to be what? For
me it was farcrycms.org I think it was, then looked for docs

It has only been 12 months, and 2 versions have been released. By the time
you setup each version, run the required updates to V4 run the site for a
few weeks make sure there are no problems. You can the upgrade to version 5,

months ago, I have been trying to get support for that version ever since we
upgraded. Version 4 wasn't even close to being released when we upgraded.

majorly overhauled in 4 and verity plugin has since been introduced which works
great out of the box.

Doesn't object broker cache a lot of this stuff anymore? Try running
?updateapp=1. If that doesn't work, try restarting your ColdFusion
instance.

commands to the TinyMCE js functions on inserting HTML. You may be
able to dial down to the problem though the function calls in there.

I just did a test on one of my live sites running FarCry v3.1 and one
on my dev box running a beta of v4 with no problems. The cursor
position seems to be remebered as long as you don't click on anything
else between the textarea and right-clicking the site tree object.
After trying the FarCry and the TinyMCE communities - without success, I
now got to plead to the CF people. It might be a bit obscure though -
but who knows, maybe someone here does work with TinyMCE in FarCry 3.

FarCry Is the best choice when you are looking for an open soure content
management system. There are more CFML based systems out there but they
are not free, systems like Commonspot, or even our own iManage. Most
solutions are hard to find, because they stay indoors. :-)

Well if cheap qualifies, there are a handfull of those... SparkPlug
for instance... I don't care for any of them myself... at least none
of the ones I've looked at. Haven't made the time to install FarCry
yet... never heard of Speck.
