Hi,
from my command prompt, I type:
c:\nslookup
nslookupls -t A domain name (e.g. ls -t A home.com)
This lists all the A records for the domain specified. I think this only
works when the machine from which you are issuing the command is configured
with a DNS server.

Hi,
You can use multiple 'radius-server host' or 'tacacs-server host' commands
to specify multiple hosts. The software searches for hosts in the order you
specify them.
Example:
radius-server host RADIUS1
radius-server host RADIUS2
If RADIUS1 is down, RADIUS2 will be contacted. The same for

2. You clearance is valid after you leave. It just depends how long you
are in vs how long the clearance lasts. You get paperwork. And you could
request your record after you leave as well.

Depends on the nature of your client and their network access patterns!
For example - http is very asynchronous traffic ...
always pulling more than pushing :).
Does this number remain consistently high, or just when you happened to
check it this time?

Hi All,
I am trying to get route sumarization working with NLSP.
I have r1 that has networks as follows:

Fa0/1 ipx net aaa2
I have enabled route-aggregation under NLSP but cannot figure out the acl to

Thanks folks
Now I see, Unless cisco have a New version that support the failover working
only with the fastethernet link, there's no cable as long as I need to make
this possible.
Thanks for all your ideas.

Agreed. If you figure 8Kbps for a single voice stream, times 2 for

Ok, Here it is. Hopefully very simple. The dce think of it as a

level one of the osi model. The t1 signal has clock in it this is

By default, the Network Address FFFE is taken by IPX default route.
What you gotta do is to disable this in global configuaration mode. The
command is NO IPX DEFAULT-ROUTE. Turn this off and then you will be able
to assign network FFFE.

I didn't mean to imply you have to dedicate an entire dlci to the VoIP--just
that you designate a layer 2 connection by assigning the traffic to a
circuit, vs. accepting a layer 3 routing.

Very tricky ;-)
When Novell invented NLSP, they reserved the 0xFFFE network number to
mean the default route for both NLSP and RIP. Cisco adopted this standard.
If you must use 0xFFFE, you can disable the default handling of the
network number with the no ipx default-route
Ah, memories of the IPX default network experiments!
I'll have to root around in my notes and write up a little something on
this. I spent a number of fun filled hours learning how to make this work in
preparation for my Lab last December. Watch this space for a mini lab and
configs...

Will,
I am trying to find the updated IOS on Cisco's web
site. From the documentation on Cisco's web Site you
should be able to upgrade the switch to the EN version
by updating the IOS software. Also from my
understanding and since the switch is for LAB and not
business use, you should be able
Our web traffic was being filtered by WebSense which worked with the PIX
however our license has expired and the filtering no longer works. Does
anyone know of any other filtering software that works with the PIX?

I have heard very high regards for Internet Routing Architectures (from Sam
Halabi). However, all of my local book stores said they have all ran out of
stock a year ago (as they claimed the book is more than a year old)
The ISBN i found is:- 157870233X, or is there a newer version of this book

Ziyad- If the following is what you get when you power on the two different
Cisco 4500 Routers:

the config register is probably 0x2142 - else the router is not configured.

what is the output you get when you issue the command 'sh ip route vrf vrf2'
