I have the impression that MED is only for outbound
traffic . For inbound traffic try prepending the
routes that you do not wish to use for the priority
path . And the routes will automatically follow the
path that has no prepend

The original requirement stated you could not modify the AS path or
local preference. The MED is the method used to communicate preference
to another AS. There is no requirement that the MED can only be set
outside of the current AS, you can modify the MED attribute anywhere you
like.
I thought 802.1Q trunking is only supported on FastEthernet interfaces, not
Ehternet interfaces.
I was able to create 802.1Q trunks on 2610 router with ethernet interface.

There is a command printer under global config that allows you to send

Hello,
I am trying to understand how a wildcard mask of 0.0.254.255 filters odd
routes so that only even routes get across the router.
Ex. If you have routes for 172.168.1.0/24, 2.0/24, 3.0/24, 4.0/24, 5.0/24,
6.0/24 and you have an access-list of:
#access-list 11 deny 172.168.1.0
I entirely disagree. Very poor coverage of MPLS, Multicast, QoS.. to
name a few. Also, numerous errors Just read the difference

Hi
Just do the binary calculus
0.0.254.255 is . . 1110 .
apply that to your prefix 172.168.1.0
the first two bytes (172 and 168) will have to match
and the last bit of the 3rd byte needs to be 1
so that would be 172.168.1 .3 .5 .7 .8

The MPLS data plane will not look at Layer3 destination IP addresses
