peerings, uptime of the BGP session and few more thing. By the moment I
think it should be done using snmpwalk, am I right?
FYI, I do have the full routing table in one of my routers (IOS 12.2.6)
Any help will be appreciated.
Thank

tions like what software you are using, or if this products is
just a headache and does not worth the time for implementing it.
I have used Netflow just for traffic analysis, never for accounting,
can I do this using netflow or there are other software/methods?
Thanks

support avalaible for this model (there is only 802.1q support). Don4t you
think there is probably an error?.
Which is the smallest router than can support ISL or 802.1q?
Thanks

Hello,
Today I'll be installing DC3 card on my router. I wanted to restrict the
bandwidth only to 14 Mbps. How can I do that?, do I have to use rate-limit?
Thanks.

Hello,
I just passed two weeks ago the CCNA exam, and now, I want to prepare for
CCNP. My question is: ISDN concepts are necessary for any of the CCNP
exams?.
Thanks

Hello again,
Priscilla, you have said that an ethernet frame must be at least 64 bytes,
right?. I have just placed an sniffer on my LAN and I found over 3000 out of
15.000 packets. Does this mean that 20% of those packets are illegal?
Thanks

Hello,
I understand the differences between Cut-through and Store & Forward. My
question is: How do you decide with method to use?, in whch situation have
you change the switching method?.

en links. I can manually add one or two prepends
for AS 3 and the traffic goes ok, I am taking advantage of Link E
My question is: Is there any way that this can be done automaticly?, do I
have to use BGP communities?
Thanks in advanced, any approach is appreciated.

above configuration I receive a round-trip time of 40 ms againts
the peers that I am connected to. However, when I remove the line "no ip
route-cache distributed" the round-trip time increses to 300ms!.
I have cleared the cef table but the behavior is the same.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Why not just use floating static routes? With only one active exit
point, I
don't see the reason for burdening your router
traffic in more difficult. I added many prepends (9)
in the publication of the second link but there still few traffic on it.
There is not IBGP between my two providers.
Any ideas?
Thks in advanced.

Hi All,
Why some you have said that ICMP packets should not be broadcasted?. I
mean, many people ping the broadcast address to know which hosts are
working. Right?, this kind of ping does not work on Windows systems, but in
Unix does.
Thks,
Alejandro
