could be something to do with the defaults for the IOS.
default for some IOS is clear tect, and some version IOS is encrypted.

yes there is amjor flaw in your config.
if you are using vlans which means subinterfaces, if you put an IP address
on the main interface
it will not work.
so remove the ip address on interface 1/0 and you should be fine.

Hi Eve,
i would not say it is prodominant in industry, i know of/worked with/keep in
touch with
a few women who work in the industry. Although there are more males than
females in the
industry is still should not influence decisions. Sounds like your work
place is not good. Over
here the company
you might find that the MAU only runs at 4 Meg, set your ringspeed to 4.

This might be hard to understand but how on earth does 3com translate into

i would suggest the 3com site might be more beneficial or even try a 3com

there is one simple answer.
the router uses the longest match rule when routing packets.
This always takes precendence over administrative distance.

B is correct.
Proirity and IP both influence who will become the DR.
Take this scenario.
If you have 10 routers on a LAN with their defaults (meaning they all have a
priority of 1 for DR election)
how will the DR be chosen purely on Priority ? How will they know the
priority of the other route
i Had this happen to me.
My symptoms were you could execute the break sequence but the rest of the
keyboard is unresponsive.
whether trying to break into the router or normal console as i could see the
boot up sequence when reset.
This happened with 2 of my routers.
So i used another compute
does it really matter what you get ? You either know it or you don't.
it's not the exam pass mark that is going to help you solve problems in the
real world.
If you pass you have a certain level of knowledge.
The mark you get is not really comparable to the next guy because everyone
gets differ

what is the purpose for 32 meg flash in 2600 ? The largest IOS i have seen
fits easily on 16.
I mean the enterprise + with FW et al feature set is only 12 Meg, plenty of
space left.
the only reason that comes to mind is so store multiple IOS images in flash,
which seems pointless anyway
because
hi mike,
if you posted some configs i could plug it into lab and check it out.

If you set your BIOS to stop on all errors if no keyboard is plugged in your
box will not boot whether it is NT or linux.
If you set BIOS to ignore these errors the system will boot.
