What I noticed is that Netmeeting listens on the local IP address and not
the IP assigned to the VPN session. The fix is to install the Cisco VPN
4.0.2 client.

I've been looking around Cisco's website and can't find any examples of how
to set up IPSec in Tunnel Mode between a CVPN 3.x client and a IOS router.
Anyone have a config they can post

think NAT is having problems w/ IPSec. The router that
is doing the NAT is also set up as a VPN.

Ive been reading up on OSPF for the BSCI test and am confused as to what an
OSPF Host Route is. RFC 2328 refers to OSPF host routes as Hosts attached

I had a similar problem w/ some older Netware 5.x servers and a new HP
Procurve 4100gl switch. When I would set the speed/duplex manually on the
switch to match what the NetWare server was(100/Full), it was painfully
slow. When I set the switch port back to auto, everything was fine. The
servers we
make a cable or do I have to purchase one form Cisco?

I don't think it's an ARPing problem.
Try using the extended PING command to make sure you ping from the correct

I know how to convert the a multicast address to a MAC address but I have
been using a chart to convert from decimal to hex. Will I have to convert
decimal to Hex during the test?

Compare process from Ebay and used Cisco dealers. You would be
surprised the deals you will find. Call as many used Cisco dealer and

I was looking at the CCNP Exam page on the Cisco's web page and for the
Routing exam, the had two test listed. They are 640-503 Routing and
640-900 BSCI. Why would one choose to take one exam over the other?
When was the 640-900 BSCI test added?

I have read in numerous places that IP routing is enabled by default on
Cisco routers. Is this is true? The reason I ask is because the last
3 Cisco 2600's I've received (new routers straight from a VAR) have
had IP routing disabled?

Thanks for the info, so you don't know if there is a command to change speed, duplex,
vlan membership etc, in the ios 6500 there is a command interface range to do this and you can specify ranges in the catos, why not in the 3500.
