Yep that test sucks. I just took it a couple of times. Researched the
questions I got wrong using resources outside of google (Lucent, general
Google stuff) to pass. It is a very badly written exam.

Don't you hate it when you significant other tells say, You have all these
cables in this box. What the heck is this one for? You'll never use that
just throw it away. Which brings me to my question. Does anyone know
where I can purchase a 5500 console cable rather cheaply. I checked ebay
gateway.
It works very well. I've seen this in several environments especially new
installations. In new installations there is very little reason to run IPX
on your NetWare box at all. Now time to return to that switching book.

The fun begins. I lost my JOB a few weeks ago. Perfect time to study if I
had money for equipment. But when there is a will Cisco has an
equipment test drive program so, I was able to get a 2950T and two Intel

I'm looking at a similar issue. The question is how do you go about
implementing the PIX without touching 1000 desktops and interrupting
business. I looked at this from a Boarder Manager perspective. Very
similar to Proxy but its a firewall as well. I would suggest you continue

You can put your mail server on the inside but I would suggest putting a

I'm not sure why you would want to put something between the PIX and the

One options is if your NAT supports port forwarding. Any SMTP requests are
forwarded to your internal e-mail server. Otherwise you will need another

I should have invested it in Cisco Stock. He invested in Cisco stock at $70

That's a fair price. You can find a better price on e-bay. I would suggest
getting a 2507 if you can find one. It has the same functionallity in
additional to a built-in HUB. If you find them they will go for about
$590-$650. You tend to pay a premium on 2501's. You can alway find 2502,
When creating a virtual link between an ABR non-directly connected are to an
ABR in the backbone should you always use the loopback address for the
virtual link. Doyle does this on page 943 of his Routing TCP/IP book.
Secondly is there a route to the loopback of these two routers. Maybe I'm
on this a couple of weeks ago.
Hope this helps.

I need help in understanding inverse masks that are used in network access

is any number other than these two. For example...

what does the 7 represent or specifiy for the mask.
