Here are some working configs. 3620-1 is connected to the LS1010 ATM12/1/1
interface and 3620-2 is connected to ATM12/1/3. You just have to substitute
your interface numbers where mine are and everything should work...
LS1010:
interface ATM12/1/3
no ip address
no ip directed-broadcast

Does anyone have any static PVC configurations for an L1010 with two
3620 routers with OC-3ATM cards? I still cannot get my configuration
working properly. I appreciate all the input, but nothing seems to be
working...can someone cut and paste from a working config that they've
used?
Thanks,
It seems your ATM connection is mapped to two different locations. Then you
should create two
point-to-point subinterfaces and don't use the mapping. A point-to-point
interface is just for one
connection only.

You should use subinterfaces in your ATM configuration to piny itself. Due
to an unknown reason if
you don't use subinterfaces the router just can't ping itself.

Hi,
Can you be more specific and also explain how to define sub interfaces for
ATM ?.
are there any pointers I can look at for the CLIs ?.
thanks,
krishnan.

Hi Robert,
I thought I configured my ATM correctly but apparently I am having some
problems. I am not sure what it might be

It seems to me your missing a map list and map group. Like below. I assume
you're not using inverse ARP.In any case, I can't remember why you can't
ping a local interface, but it's normal. (route caching?)

Hi,
I am trying to set up an ATM LANE testing
with one LS1010 and 2 routers with ATM
interfaces.
Does anyone know how to make the routers
to get ATM prefix from LS1010.
Thanx.
Jim Xie
