a CCIE without giving the actual Lab part of the exam, but how does the CCIE
written exam scale on its own, career wise. Does it help improve job
prospects. What are the benefits of this exam on its own, or is it to

Looking to add a switch to the lab and this product line is giving me fits.
Looks like the switch of choice for the CCIE rack is the 6500. Of course
this is far and away outside my price range. Any suggestions please?
Thanks

Hello all,
Has anyone worked with the Cisco Secure ACS (the AAA
server of Cisco) when used with the VPN3005.
Well it seems that with the ACS software we can push
most of the "Mode-config" policies to the client.
( i.e. IP addr, DNS, WINS, banner, split tunnel, IPSec

I see from your original post that you already have the CCNP and CCDP. So
my theory is pretty much out the window. Of course, Cisco's
retirement/changing of their specializations sort of makes this whole thread

Cisco has been doing a lot of revamping to their certification tracks. For
my money, I'm going to get the CCNP/DP first, then worry about any
specializations. The idea for me is that the NP/DP will give me a better
foundation for whatever it is I want to specialize in.
