I have a basic home lab 2 1600s, 1 2501, 1 4000, 1 2509 so I can do some
basic labs (CCIE Practical Studies Vol 1). A buddy of mine who just happens
to be a CCIE has a full blown voice lab (Unity, Call Manager, etc.) so
playing with that won't hurt.
Outside of that I plan on renting rack time bu
Congrats! I took it the last day too.
Didn't have much study time since we were entertaining customers, but at
least I passed!
What are your study plans for the lab?

It took six business and eight regular days for mine to show up. Took mine
on Wed showed up the next Thurs. You can call prometric/vue on Wed and see
if they have your score in their database, then it is off to cisco. Still
scheduling two-dayers.

Congrats! Two day lab until 10-1-01 so my guess is you'll be doing
the 1 dayer.
Good luck

One day all the way, unless you are willing to take within the next few
weeks. There are dates open this month.

Tom,
Congrats. You have will have about a 6 month wait in the 2 day format. This
actually will be better when the 1 day format crancks up at the beginning of
October. Again congrats.

Congratulations!! That's very cool!
As far as the lab, last time I checked CCO stated that any labs
scheduled after Sep. 1 would be the one-day lab. If that's still the
case, then you're stuck with the new lab. It may have changed, though.
Check out CCO to find the details.
Regards,
John

Nate,
How many people would love to have your "problem"
The points you raise have been discussed often on this list. That the
written does not reflect the material in the lab, nor does it reflect the
reality of real world networking. Your point about being too easy and too
hard
I'd enjoy passing the hurdle and getting past a
horrible examination that has little to do with the
lab or modern networking. Study hard for the tough
part, and congrats.

First, Congratulations.
My openion is the written exists to weed out people with NO experience. It
has no other value.
I would schedule my practical and get on with it.
Good Luck.

Excellent. I know you don't get a certification for passing it, but I
really think this is one of the hardest written tests I've ever had to take.
Good job...
