It's a furler install. I haven't looked at the job. My friend has. We are
both experienced at working aloft and use all safety precautions.
I'll pass this info to him so he can closely examine the tabernacle, etc.

On my 34 you can clearly see that the thickness or section of the hull is
thinner around thru hull fittings. This is because the hull is solid glass
around thru hulls, and cored elsewhere. If you look for this you should be
able to confirm whether yours is the same as what I described or is solid
Recently Indigo has developed what is currently annoying problem, but could
become more serious. After turning the key (and getting the low
oil-pressure buzzer), when I press the starter button, absolutely nothing
happens. I press it again, and it usually starts right up. Occasionally

More likely a corroded wire. Remove the panel and jump the wires on the
back of the switch to isolate the problem.

Could be the button, but more likely it's a bad solenoid. Happened on my old

First thing I would try would be a thorough cleaning of the battery terminals
and battery posts. Then clean the terminals on the push button switch. Finally,
change the switch.

This is a well known problem with Yanmar engines. I had exact same symptom on

switch to the starter solenoid is NOT QUITE adequate to always energize the
solenoid. It can be fixed by adding an additional relay. See the

Before you run the wires, hook it up to the display, throw the impeller over

I had a similar problem, but discovered the the battery (~ about 5 yrs old) was
getting weak, and always started on the 2nd or 3rd try. How old is your
starting battery?
My mechanic suggested that this was typical of an aging battery.

Hi,
I wonder if anyone could offer any suggestions.
I found that lately (last few weeks), I have problems starting. The motor kick

Sounds like you have enough fuel in the engine for it to fire but soon runs
out. As if the engine is starved for fuel at low rpms.
Have you replaced you fuel filters recently?
You might have an air leak in a fuel line.
Good luck

I found when I had a 3GM that as the weather cooled I had to give a lot of
throttle to get it started. Not sure what the problem was, but it always
started with more throttle.

Find your starter and find four terminals. two small ones are the button

To rule out the button, short the two terminals with a short piece of wire, or

I am beginning to think that the termistor is the weak link. Lots of them
seem to fail. Raytheon says that you should measure about 15K ohms across
the white and brown wire. If in fact the circuit is open and registers
either no ohms or something less, what would happen if you were able to
