The Curve-billed Thrasher has made brief appearances
at the Red Rocks Trading Post thrice today. In addition
to the 0730 sighting posted early by Cole Wild, Dick Schottler
was among a group that saw it for about a minute at 9:40 AM,
but it was not seen again until Bob Brown spotted it at 11:25,

Reservoir: 2 Common Loons, one possible Red-throated, and two too distant to
be identified. The loons were viewed from Bow Mar Drive, at Ridge Trail Road,

The Dunlin, first spotted by Steve Stochwiak, was seen again on
the sandspit, which is the peninsula immediately east of the marina
at Chatfield Reservoir. Douglas County. This is the 3rd day it has
been at that site. A Pacific Loon was still at the S Platte River delta
(Jeffco side).

of the "Mile High Duck Club" ponds, reached by taking I-76 northeast from

I spoke with the fellow who saw this bird a couple of days ago. It was on

I did some early winter birding today, in Phillips, Sedgwick and Logan
Counties. Back roads were muddy and it was 35 degrees with a brisk south wind.
Road 2 east of highway 59 along the Phillips-Yuma border, was sparrowy, as
